House of Zen - Walk to the beach, Huge fenced back yard, Outdoor shower!

The House of Zen is a charming beach cottage located about 5 minutes from the Oak Island's Beaches. Relax by the outdoor fire pit in a FENCED backyard that is great for your children and pets! This is a true private oasis and the beach is an easy drive, walk, or bike ride.

We have bikes, beach chairs, and a buggy to make the trip down to the beach easier or to visit the close by parks and restaurants. The detached building, Zen Den, has a bedroom set up and an office for those who need a remote workplace for a longer stay!

The main house has two bedrooms and the two bathrooms. One room is set up as a kids room with two sets of twin bunk beds while the other is the primary bedroom that has a King size bed.

The detached building is the Zen Den! It has a Queen sized bed, TV, and an office for those who need some extra space or a place to work while visiting! The home is set up with keypad locks that are synced up so that you can have quick access back and forth from the detached room and main house and be secure.

The backyard is fenced in and has access to the shed. In the shed you will find bikes, beach chairs, ladder golf, bocci ball and a buggy for getting all the gear to the beach! A pump and some hardware for the bikes is in there as well just in case.

Pet Fee:
The pet fee covers up to 2 pets! Please make sure your reservation is updated properly. If you are traveling with more than 2 pets, please reach out - sometimes we can accommodate an additional pet on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee. Thanks!
