Quaint Cottage on the Davis Canal, on the quiet western end of Oak Island, 1 block from the beach. Gorgeous views of the marsh and canal! 2 BRs / 2 Baths (both with showers, no tubs) Full Kitchen with dishwasher and cookware. Wifi and Smart TV (no cable service, but you can login to your streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc)

Great dock with built-in seating - fish, crab, launch your kayak, or admire the sunrises and sunsets. Note: floating dock during low tide sits on the bottom - which is more suitable for kayaks. Public boat ramp and the new Lonerider restaurant are one block away!

*** ABSOLUTELY NO PETS or SMOKINGā€” we have a daughter with severe allergies.***

**Rental Deposit and Rental Damage Insurance required for all rentals. Vacation insurance is highly recommended.

The visit exceeded my expectations! The house is exactly as described and provided a comfortable, stress-free stay. This home boasts an unobstructed view of the Intercoastal; cleanliness; a well-stocked kitchen; a comfy, cozy interior with decor that matches the area; proximity to local attractions; and so much more. A very self-sufficient vacation home only steps from the beach. Booking this home was easy and quick. The host is quick to answer messages, and I have to be honest, the home is set up so well for a successful stay, I only needed to reach out when I arrived and when I left. Thank you, Angela for trusting me with your home!!

Had an issue with a couple of roaches in the house. Understand stuff happens but really wrecked it when one crawled up my leg while sitting at kitchen table. Just couldnā€™t get comfortable after that. Host did send an exterminator out but, couldnā€™t get past it. Wasnā€™t going to write anything but thought the next possible renter should be aware. :(((

We've now stayed at this property several times, and it is by far our favorite on Oak Island. Angela is terrific to work with. The house is always spotless. No better location having the water access and dock on the backside, and easy beach access on the front. Very quiet at night. Neighbors on both sides friendly and respectful. Can't wait to return! The location of this home is perfect! We so enjoyed the amazing sunrises and sunsets from the back porch, watching the boats pass and loved the very short walk to the beach. We cooked local seafood nightly in the well equipped kitchen. The home was clean and we had everything we needed.

This is our fifth year staying at this beautiful Oak Island home, and it never disappoints! The house is always comfortable, making it feel like our home away from home. The location is perfectā€”close to the beach, and the inlet with lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere.Our family has made so many wonderful memories here, and we truly look forward to returning again next year. Beautiful place on the water. Perfect for our week at the beach. Kayaked every day and loved being such a short walk from the beach. Loved the whale bedspreads & pillows! Great layout. Loved the cart for hauling our stuff!

The best location and cutest place!

We have been coming to oak island and stayed at various places for the last 20 years. As our family has grown we have needed our own space and this one was perfect! The kids loved watching the boats and seeing the crabs. The adults loved fishing. We loved the close walking distance to the beach while having a beautiful view everyday. We loved it so much we booked our trip for next year while we were still there :)

Wonderful Spot on OKI

This home was perfect for a short vacation for our family. We loved the quick walk to the beach and having a decent restaurant right up the street. It was peaceful and the sunsets off the dock were magical every night! We will definitely book again.

Family vacation

Beautiful home with many features to make our vacation comfortable. Very convenient to the beach access and a private dock to relax on in the back of the house. This was our third stay in the home and we have been very pleased every time.

Relaxing week at the beach

We had another wonderful week at the beach with our little family. We crabbed on the dock, played in the ocean, enjoyed a wonderful low country boil at the house, slept well and just had an overall relaxing, fun week. Perfect home away from home

This is our second time staying at this property. It was just as perfect the second time. House was clean, plenty of room for a family of 5. The boys loved walking out the backyard and fishing off the dock in the backwaters. We also love bird viewing and even spotted a bald eagle across the bay. The owner is very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Another Great Stay At This Oak Island Property

This is the third time that my family has stayed at and enjoyed Angela's property. She is a great host. Super-responsive and helpful in every way. We had great weather this time and spent almost all of our time either on the dock or walking on the beach. So convenient to beach access, and so very nice to have the large dock to spend the time on. The house is lovely and very well-appointed, and exceptionally clean. Kitchen very nice. Sunsets two nights at the Point did not disappoint. Having the restaurant so close by is a big plus. Hope to be back soon. Thanks.

Great stay

We had been staying in this fanastic house a lot of times in past several years. It becomes mustgo trip in Summer. We love the location to the beach as well as the inlet, kids love fishing at the backyard dock and we catch multiple fishes and crabs. Our family love this place!

It was always a dream of ours to have a little cottage at the beach ! We love staying in our simple cottage with breathtaking views of the water and nature - it is mesmerizing and a wonderful place to relax.
