Relax in Palm Springs

We had a great time with friends in this fabulous home. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, pool and hottub worked great. Also enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful secluded gardens and outside patio areas with wonderful views. Close to great restaurants. Can't wait to return.

Excellent home

This was our second stay at this lovely property. The home is comfortable for a multi-generation family. The pool is wonderful and feels like a secluded oasis. The owner and property manager are attentive and easy to work with. We love the location, just a short walk to good dog walking spot.

Wonderful stay!

We were a multi-generational group and the house was perfect for all of us. Everyone was comfortable. Beds and sitting areas were very cozy. The house itself was super clean and very well-equipped. It was great to be able to cook for everyone during a week when Palm Springs itself was very busy. The owner and the property manager were both extra responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!

Palm Springs Long Weekend

We had a wonderful stay. The house is super clean and has everything you will need if you plan to hang out and relax. We spent most of our time in the pool and jacuzzi. Everything is well maintained and clean. The house isn't too far from downtown Palm Springs so it's easy to get to restaurants and shopping. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect place

We loved staying here! Great location in Palm Springs. Nice pool and hot tub and we especially loved the beautiful garden. Many rentals in PS feel a bit soulless - in contrast, Tom's place feels like a home, with real art, a cozy living room and separate TV room, comfortable furniture, easy-to-use kitchen. We stayed a month, and all these features made a difference to our stay. The house is extremely well managed - issues are attended to extremely quickly, and with friendliness.

This home is truly beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice! It’s private, impeccably appointed, and comfortable. We are so lucky to have stayed in this treasure. Classic Palm Springs Resort Home!

We stayed for several nights at this lovely home in an established neighborhood in Palm Springs. The pool/spa area is gorgeous with lush landscape, pretty flowers, shaded area for dining and firepit. When we weren't in the pool, we enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen, BBQ, TV's and lounging areas. The home truly had everything we needed with full laundry services, pool towels, plenty of ice in the freezer and more. The owners were great to work with and the home was quiet and relaxing throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Secluded Getaway

Our stay was amazing from beginning to end. Before we arrived Tom answered any of our questions and even had recommendations. We were greeted at arrival and shown around this beautiful property. During our stay, we enjoyed coffee in the morning on different patios and floating in the pool with tranquil landscaping all around us that make our stay very private. We used Uber to get in and out of town, very convenient to do fro the house location. Highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing, private, and enjoyable stay in Palm Springs. It did not disappoint!

Beautiful grounds and fabulous pool!

This property is great. Pride of place is obvious - this is the most well kept rental we've been to, and we've visited Palm Springs 5 times this year. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool is fabulous. Tom was great to work with and super accommodating. Two things to know: The bathroom for the master bedroom is across the hallway, and this hallway runs the length of the house. It's not as private as a bathroom within the bedroom. The parking space is a bit tight. If you have 2 smaller cars, you'll be fine. We had 2 small/mid-size SUVs and it was a challenge to get both cars in and out. Thanks for a fabulous vacation!

Amazing Private & Dog-friendly Accommodation

We stayed at this home in Palm Springs from October 25 - November 7, 2024. We were there with 3 adult children and our small dog. The house is truly as advertised - very private with spacious rooms and en suite bathrooms for all 3 rooms. The outdoor area is spectacular with a heated pool and sauna, and a lovely fire pit. Our dog enjoyed exploring the many gardened areas of the fully fenced yard. The house was very clean on arrival and so well stocked with any and all supplies you could possibly need. Both the house owner and project manager were incredibly responsive to any inquiries and the check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient. Location was great for dog walking (quiet neighborhood close to canal walk) and convenient to downtown Palm Springs and hiking in Indian Canyon, which we love to do. Would highly recommend this property for any friend or family gathering in Palm Springs.

Our family loved this property!

This home was spectacular in every way. There are beautifully maintained gardens all the way around the house, with cozy seating areas spread throughout. The sense of privacy on the property is amazing, with tall landscaping blocking out any view of neighboring homes or the street. We made smores over the firepit, and spent lots of time in the spacious spa and pool. The gas barbecue in the back is great for grilling. One wing of the house is a new Master suite, with a double rain shower and huge tub. There are thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The well-stocked kitchen has everything a cook could need. We played games in the living room, in front of the fire, and watched shows on the massive TV in the media room, with plenty of seating. Each of the three bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom, which our teenagers loved. The owner and the property manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful, while never being intrusive. We are already looking forward to returning!

Simply Stunning Home

Just returned from a short stay at this absolutely stunning property. The home was immaculate and so beautifully furnished and decorated, with many pieces of original artwork, although we spent most of our time in the garden around the pool. The garden is surrounded by 12 foot hedges, making it very private. You would not know that there are neighbors on either side. The garden surrounding the pool is stocked with many mature plants to attract butterflies and hummingbirds, and the neighborhood mockingbird kept us entertained with his song. To the sides and the rear of the house there are various secluded sitting areas so each bedroom has it's private area. We were met at check-in by Tom R, the property manager who lives close by and is always available if problems crop up (we didn't have any problems). He showed us around the property and explained all the various systems in the house. Tom S, the owner communicated well with us and was very flexible and concerned that we would have a great stay. This was our first time at this property, and we will definitely be going back. It will be our go-to place in Palm Springs. It feels more like a home than some rather soulless VRBOs. Superb.

What a gem! The actual property is even more amazing than the photos! The pool is the star of the show with easy access from ANYWHERE in the house. The gardens are gorgeous and the night lighting is spectacular. There are a couple of fountains hidden in the gardens with great sitting spaces for privacy. The entire property is surrounded by privacy fencing which is hidden by the garden. VERY NICE. You feel completely secluded even though you are in the middle of a neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet. The fenced in, covered, private parking is a real plus. No worries about leaving your car on the street. Tom and his property manager, also Tom, could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Need something, a recommendation or attention to something in the house? Just a quick text or call gets it done immediately! Tom provides several very informative binders about things to do in PS, how everything works and restaurant info. You will not find better treatment at a Four Seasons, other than there is not "staff on site", which can be a real plus! Highly recommend for your "oasis stay in paradise"!

What a great property. Beautifully maintained, everything you need, clean, comfortable and relaxing. There's lots to see and do in Palm Springs but make sure you reserve a day just to hang out at the house., pool and hot tub. It's got everything you need. Beyond expectations

We just returned from a trip to Palm Springs. This property was the highlight of our entire experience. If you are hoping to decompress you have chosen the ideal location. The interior space has an ideal floor plan for both privacy and comfort. Everything you can conceive of needing for food prep or relaxing is available as well as an exceptionally clean space. But nothing compares to the outdoor space which is hard to adequately describe. Yes, the gorgeous landscaping surrounding the very private property is something to behold, but our very favorite space was the large pool and built-in hot tub! My husband spent most of his time unwinding in the hot tub while I used the noodle floats to completely unwind in the heated pool. The two Toms (owner and house manager) were very available and responsive to all of our needs. Do not hesitate to book this private home for location, design style, and total comfort!

Amazing stay in Palm Springs

We were in town for a wedding and absolutely loved staying at the Tahquitz River Estate. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. We spent the majority of time outside…ate our meals at the outdoor dining tables, loved lounging at the pool, and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings. The landscaping around the house is spectacular. We were lucky enough to stay there while everything was blooming. We actually toured a local botanical garden but all of us agreed that the garden at our house was better. If you are looking for a place to stay in Palm Springs, look no further!

Beautiful and peaceful

Absolutely the nicest place we have stayed for our annual girls trip of 30+ years. In fact we already booked for next year. The owner and property manager were a delight to deal with. The house is very clean and comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen. The pool area, fire pit and multiple sitting areas outside were so relaxing and inviting. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Easy walk into town and close to mountains for hiking. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Amazing!

This property is beautiful and so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The landscaping is gorgeous and well-lit at night and just really adds to the ambiance. There is a gorgeous view outside every window and the views around the pool is amazing. It was paradise!

Wonderful!

Our best VRBO experience! Host and property manager were warm and accommodating. The property is well located to walk into Palm Springs, extremely well equipped and the grounds are joyful with special hidden vignettes.

I love Palm Springs. I love this house. Fantastic location. The home sits North/South allowing for wonderful afternoons without glaring sun. Quiet location. No airplane noise! No electric wires to ruin your pool and mountain views! A Paul Trousdale (Trousdale Estates, Beverly Hills) classic home in a South Palm Springs location. Wonderful seperation of bedrooms. Updated bathrooms and kitchen. All new furniture. Spectrum TV Network. Wine Refrigerator. Upgraded home theatre. The home is walled, hedged and gated. Two Outdoor showers. Sensational gardens and plantings front and back. Two water features allow for peaceful afternoons and evenings. The owners personal Plein Air Desert painting collection is throughout the home.
