Built in 1954, this newly renovated modern luxury home still retains its midcentury architectural roots. It’s classic features include a low boomerang shape, concrete block walls, floor to ceiling walls of glass, clerestory windows and generous open floor plan, perfectly integrating the home into the natural surroundings to maximize enjoyment of the Palm Springs sunshine and habitat. Custom glass etched front doors open into a spacious living room featuring a Venetian plaster gas fireplace with cantilevered concrete hearth. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors open the entire width of the room bringing the outdoors inside and capturing maximum mountain views. There’s plenty of comfortable seating for lounging around the fireplace on cool desert evenings or watching a movie on the 68-inch flat screen HDTV.

The media room features a large sectional sofa and 55-inch flat screen HDTV for plenty of movie-watching pleasure. You’ll love the nifty wet bar with wine fridge and plenty of glassware for whipping up your favorite trendy cocktails. A separate office with privacy door, quartz counters and plenty of cabinets provide a convenient workspace.

Cook like a 5-star chef in this fully equipped kitchen featuring quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, Kitchen Aid refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, 5-burner Fisher / Paykel commercial gas range with pot filler, built-in microwave, Kitchen Aid dishwasher, deep stainless steel sink, ample European cabinets and a 48-inch flat screen HDTV. French doors flood the kitchen with abundant natural light and provide access to the outdoor kitchen and grilling station in front courtyard. A swanky dining area with stylish banquet seating for 6 and a marble top table is conveniently located near the kitchen.

All three glamorous bedroom retreats have their own baths so there’s no sharing! The bedrooms are all nicely separated, entitling guests to peace and privacy. Each is nicely appointed with a high quality mattress and linens, plenty of closet space, colorful artwork and offers mountain views with direct access to the beautiful outdoor spaces.

One master suite features a King sized bed, ensuite bath, built-in closet, ceiling fan, 42-inch flat screen HDTV, clerestory window with fantastic mountain views and sliding glass door access to backyard patio. The sumptuous en suite bath offers a spacious walk-in glass and custom tile enclosure with steam shower, rain faucet and body jets, stone vessel sink and outdoor access to pool / spa patio.

The second master suite is located on the opposite end of the home off the media room and features a Queen sized platform bed, ensuite bath, built-in closet and sliding glass door access to pool area. The full bath offers a custom tile walk-in shower with bench and a stone vessel sink.

The third bedroom offers a Queen sized bed, 68-inch flat screen HDTV, built-in closet, ceiling fan and sliding glass door access to front courtyard. The adjoining hall bath features a custom tile glass shower and jetted soaking tub with modern vessel sink.

For our guests added convenience we offer a 2-car garage with full size washer and dryer, a dedicated office, Wi-Fi, phone service with unlimited long distance to US and Canada, HD Direct TV and estate disposal service. All linens, towels & pool floats provided too.

Nestled in the quiet Tahquitz River Estates community of desirable South Palm Springs, this property is located only a half mile from the famed Palm Canyon Drive. Tahquitz River Estates is one of the City’s largest and most historic neighborhoods and a museum of PS architecture spanning 90 years. Developed by renowned builder Paul Trousdale and architect Allen Siple, it’s an eclectic variety of Old Palm Springs Spanish revival and period mid-century modernism. Notable celebrity residents include Eva Gabor, Max Factor, Sharon Tate and Dr. Scholl (famous feet). The creek’s footpath is an ideal place to jog, bike, walk, and commune with wildlife in the warm winter sun.

Within walking distance to Palm Canyon Drive and Smoke Tree Shopping Center, this property is convenient to Ace Hotel, Saguaro, Koffi, Mr. Lyons Steakhouse, Purple Room Supper Club, Ralph’s Fresh Fare Grocery Store, True Value Hardware and lots of casual dining. You’ll be able to enjoy all the activities this famous city has to offer including fine dining, shopping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, gambling and riding the PS Arial Tramway. You will also be within a mile of the public library and senior center.

International guests will find Palm Springs to be an ideal "home base" for daytrip excursions to Southern California. Enjoy nearby Joshua Tree National Monument (an extraordinary national park set in the desert) and theme parks within a two-hour drive including Disneyland (Anaheim) and Sea World (San Diego), as well as The Palm Springs Surf Club.

OPTIONAL FEES

For stays of less than 28 nights, the optional pool & spa heat fee is $100/day or $650/week. Pool heat is not needed between June - September. If you do not want pool heat but would like to heat the spa, the cost is $60/ day. A utility deposit is collected for stays of 28 nights or more and the amount is based on the length of stay. The cost of an Early Arrival or Late Departure is $200 each plus tax.
