Villa Sukapadi is located off the fashionable restaurant street of Jalan Laksmana. Villa Sukapadi offers a modern comfortable villa with tasteful ethnic decoration to enhance your Bali Holiday. The well appointed two bedroom villa was decorated by a French designer using traditional Timor pieces, combined with modern day original art work and a minimalist décor. With its soulful ambiance and homey feel this villa is sure to become your Bali home away from home. The 400 square meter property is located at the end of a quiet lane amongst other private villa residences. The living and dining areas wrap around a gorgeous 11 x 3.5 meter infinity pool with underwater benches for lazing in the water, and sun chairs to enjoy the tropical climate. The first of the two adjoining pavilions, houses the open plan living and dining spaces with a superb home entertainment system with flat screen TV & DVD Player. Relax with more than 65 channels of cable television with programs in English, Spanish, French, Russian, & German. The living space is a cozy area for conversation, relaxation, and reading on an extra long couch with an abundance of soft cushions. The entire villa is equipped with Wi-Fi for Internet use. Be delighted when you stay at the soulful and homey Villa Sukapadi on your next Bali Holiday. The black gold slate stone villa floors are imported from India and are totally natural and varying in color with hues of dark grey, gold, and streaks of black. The dining space seats 6 at a teak table and is just adjacent to the kitchen for ease of serving and keeping conversation flowing from one room to the other.

The second pavilion houses the two spacious bedrooms which overlook the pool area and are just a “step away” from either the indoor or outdoor living & dining areas. Both bedrooms are fully air conditioned and the attached bathrooms offer a full vanity with ample lighting for makeup, and a walk-in shower space. Both bathrooms feature an outdoor ambiance with tropical Balinese gardens. The Master Bedroom has large closets, a well secured in-room safe box, and a desk area for laptop use or writing those cards to send home. A large bathroom and shower area adjoin the bedroom with a well lighted vanity counter for makeup and other personal touches. This bathroom hosts a typical Bali garden and palm trees. There is ample storage adjoining the shower area for suitcase and valuables. Invite friends for cocktails, or a dinner party overlooking the garden & pool, all catered by our skilled villa staff. Our staff can organize a cruise on the Java Sea, or a ride to the beach, or to enjoying a safari jeep tour into the interior of Bali to really see the nature and flora of Bali. Villa Sukapadi is located just off the main road of Oberoi (Jln Laksmana). The Villa is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and cafes in the popular restaurant Street. The beach and the popular Ku De Ta, La Lucciola restaurant and The Living Room restaurant, and the popular French restaurant the Warisan are, all very close by. Enjoy Moroccan, Chinese, Italian or Greek food and many more cuisines all just a few minutes walk from Villa Sukapadi. It’s is a gastronomical delight of choices. If shopping is your focus, then Villa Sukapadi is close by to the myriad of boutiques along Jalan Legian, Seminyak, and Double Six Street, and with more shopping further into the Kuta beach area. Taxis are easily available right on Jalan Laksmana, and are the least expensive mode of transportation in Bali.

Staff amazing , Yanik our house manager was just delightful . We had a lovely stay . The constant building noise was quite annoying but understandably that isn’t ongoing .

Lovely villa, fantastic staff, close to the best eateries

Very stylish and private villa with fantastic pool, located 1 minute walk away from some of the key restaurants in the area. Housekeeper in the villa was so lovely, I was unwell and she bought items from the pharmacy and made me fresh ginger & honey teas. Could not have been any kinder.

Amazing Villa and amazing hospitality

We booked this villa for a week over new year and it was fantastic. The villa was beautiful and the hospitality of Charles, Rumba and the rest of the team was excellent. Thanks so much Charles for such an enjoyable stay.

Charles and Laurence were the ultimate hosts during our stay in the villa, offering suggestions of places to visit, reserving a car and driver for us, and even offering to make dinner reservations! The villa itself is also a fantastic property, wonderfully located and the pool is fabulous!! One of our group got extremely sick, and they both could not have been more helpful with the situation! I would highly recommend Villa Sukapadi for anyone visiting Bali and would definitely stay there again if making a return visit.

Super Location......in Bali

We stayed at the villa for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both Charles and Laurence were great hosts, they even joined us for a lovely dinner the one night. Charles was extremely helpful to give us advice on where to eat, shop, and local activities and sight seeing trips. We loved the maid service, the laundry being so carefully cleaned and ironed, and the breakfast cooked each morning. The staff were exceptional. It was also a wonderful treat to have your own private pool in your living room, so drinks were pool side. We would certainly recommend this vacation spot to friends, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bali because of the easy and convenient access to dining, shopping, massages, and the great hosts that Charles and Laurence. They both made it a very enjoyable experience, along with their exceptional staff that were more than willing to please!

Amazing Experience in Seminyak, Bali

My Girlfriend and I stayed with Charles and his staff in September to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was an absolutely amazing experience! Whether it was in the mornings, waking up to a cooked breakfast and laundered clothes, to relaxing at night having a Bintang (beer) poolside while staring up at the clear sky, Charles creates an environment that absolutely surpasses any hotel experience I've ever stayed in. The villa is located in the heart of Seminyak, literally walking distance from any shops, restaurants, nightclubs/lounges, and Seminyak beach. If we needed to travel anywhere on day trips, Charles helped us plan our day and arranged very friendly drivers for personal tours. We even arranged having American pancakes prepared for me the morning of my birthday! Charles did everything possible to make sure our experience in Indonesia was top-notch, and I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Villa Sukapadi to maximize your Bali experience. To Charles and Laurence, Made, Aris, Sari, and Oka: We truly thank you for this experience that we surely will never forget. I look forward to crossing paths again. -Carter and Dasha

Excellent Stay !!

We (three adults and my 10 year old) spent 3 wonderful albeit short days at the Villa Sukapadi in Seminyak. Charles and his staff are excellent hosts. In addition to the warm hospitality and excellent amenities (Free wifi, a sumptuous breakfast and the inviting pool), he patiently answered all our questions. Thanks to Charles we also found a wonderful driver in Oka who guided us around the island. I highly recommend this villa for its amenities and excellent location on Food Street. Wonderful place for vacation

We spend one week in this wonderful villa with a family (2 girls 16 and 29 years) . It is a very quiet place. Ideal for relaxing, but close to many restaurants and shops. You can reach the beach by taxi (1$) or by walking (20 min). The location of the villa is really good. The staff is very nice and helpful. They clean every day. Also Charles, the owner, is a very nice person who gives a lot of recommendations for dinner and sighteseeing. The villa is very well equipped and in very good shape. Internet worked well. We highly recommend this place.

Wonderful villa in Seminyak

The check in and check out process was really easy and convenient. All the facilities and furniture in the apartment is as same as the pictures on website. Mr. Charles is very nice and patient. I stayed at Villa Sukapadi for 7 nights with 3 friends. This was my second time at Sukapadi after a similar visit in 2010. The villa is a little bit of luxury in Seminyak and provides a quiet haven from bustling Jalan Laksmana ("Eat Street") which is located at the end of the villa's laneway. It was so nice and reassuring to come back from a day of shopping / touring to have a swim at this beautiful villa. The infinity pool is the real highlight of the villa. The owner (Charles) and all his staff are "super friendly". Charles made us all feel very welcome and is like a friend who you haven't visited for a while. Charles' wife has decorated the villa impeccably which makes it such a pleasure to relax in. After flying in from Australia it only took a short time to unwind and relax! The location of the villa in Seminyak is also a bonus - it is located on a laneway just a short walk from Jalan Laksmana with all its shops / cafes and restaurants. There are so many great places to eat and shop only a stone's throw away - not too far to carry all your purchases!! Some of the great places to eat / drink nearby are The Junction (great for a meal / drink and interesting facade to the street), Potato Head (located overlooking the beach and great for cocktails at sunset - the architecture of the building is also memorable), Trattoria (great Italian food), La Lucciola (on the beach and sublime location for breakfast), Biku (fantastic for high tea), Cafe Jemme (brilliant for dinner in luxurious surroundings) and Cafe Zucchini (located just around the corner from the villa on Laksmana and fantastic for lunch - you can't beat their big bowl salads and smoothies). There is also a mexican restaurant (the name currently escapes me) located just around the corner from the villa on Jalan Drupadi (2 minute walk) which does amazing food! The other great thing about the villa's location is that it is located a 2 minute walk to Coco supermarket (a newly opened full line supermarket on Laksmana) where you can get all your creature comforts plus more! Given all of the above I would highly recommend Villa Sukapadi to friends, relatives and others. I look forward to my next visit to Villa Sukapadi and catch up with Charles.

Best Holiday Ever!!!

My family, myself, hubby and two teenage boys had the absolute pleasure of staying at this Villa. From the minute we arrived at the Villa we were made to feel so welcome by Charles and the staff and were treated like royalty. Charles is the most helpful, informative, interesting and kind man, going the extra mile to ensure that everything about our stay was amazing and trouble free. He recommended places to eat and visit nearby giving us a complete run down of what they offered, organised a fabulous driver for us, who we fell in love with, Thank you Oka, you are truly an amazing young man and made our holiday even more memorable and enjoyable. Charles also recommended the restaurant "Sardine" for a special night out for my birthday, made the booking for us and organised a surprise birthday dessert delivered by the entire wait staff singing happy birthday to me. The staff at the villa who come daily to cook breakfast and clean were the most beautiful and delightful people. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were happy to do anything for you. They were never intrusive and always happy and smiling. The villa itself is very spacious, comfortable and beautiful, we enjoyed every minute there. The location is fabulous, walking distance to so many restaurants and shopping. One of the things I loved most about the villa and it's location was that it was such a peaceful and beautiful place to return to to escape the hustle and bustle of the streets. The minute you stepped off the street into the lane leading to the villa you could feel yourself starting to wind down and relax. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Bali, I doubt we would actually stay anywhere else! The Villa is everything you expect when you view the photos and description, if anything I would say it was even better than I expected! I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Loved it!

The Villa's location is terrific - very central, making it convenient for walking to shops and restaurants are very close by as well. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful - advising us about the best places to eat, shop and what we could do in Bali. The Villa staff are very welcoming and are always smiling! They brighten your day, every single day :) The Villa and all of it's facilities was all in all - terrific. From the fresh breakfasts made for you by the chef in the mornings, to the caring mosquito nets on the beds they prepare each evening for you so you don't have anything to worry about. There is a DVD player and books you can use at your leisure as well. The pool was also one of our highlights and the Timor design of the Villa - incredible. I have told many of my work colleagues and friends about the Villa, saying that I would go back there time and time again. Thanks so much for an relaxing, mind-cleansing experience - my sister, my mum and I will never forget it.

Beautiful Villa

We stayed at this amazing Villa for 5 days and loved it! The Villa is everything you could want, amazing pool and accomodation not to mention the decor and the plants! The kids loved it and my husband and myself say it is the best holiday we have ever had. Charles was amazing (the owner) very informative and a delightful host, we will be back for sure. Charles has lovely staff to make your breakfast everyday and look after all your needs. I would recommend this to anyone that wanted affordable 5 star accomodation. thanks Charles Shane, Melissa and the boys

Why you should always deal directly with the owner

The villa is fantastic – two generous bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Everything else is outdoors under cover and a real sanctuary. And the location is excellent – close to nice shops, great restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Sadly for us we only had a very brief stay after my daughter had an accident and we had to leave after one night. Charles the owner immediately offered to refund us for the rest of our stay and the funds arrived within a few days. He was so attentive and generous at a very stressful time for us – helping me arrange flights home, medication and advice. I doubt I would have had anything like the same level of service had I booked with an agency. Thank you Charles. Hopefully one day we will back to stay again.

Loved it!

We stayed at Villa Sukapadi in November 2011 for a girls getaway with my best friend and our mums and we absolutely loved Villa Sukapadi! The location is perfect, right in the centre of Seminyak but down a quiet laneway so it was very peaceful and private. Charles the owner was the perfect host offering us advice on restaurants, tours, massages etc. We even joined him and his wife for a drink one night so we could see their beautiful villa where they live permanently. The staff were always very friendly and extremely helpful but very respectful of our privacy. The villa itself is stunning, the pictures do not do it enough justice! The rooms are sizeable and the outside bathrooms are also very large. We especially loved the open plan living of the kitchen and living room which opened up to the pool area. Our stay was perfect and we will definitely be back!

Great elegant villa and great location!

I wanted to write a review on Villa Sukapadi to let you all know what a great place it is, and what a difference it makes to stay in such a fantastic place! I was in Bali in September for a week of work, and we stayed in Villa Sukapadi by chance, as we couldn't find place in the hotel we wanted. As soon as we arrived the owner was so helpful, and went out of his way to give us informations, make sure we had everything we needed and even drove us to the bank one day!! Thank you Charles!! The villa is elegant and very private, very comfortable and chic! The staff friendly and helpful kept the place spotless. Villa Sukapadi is in the heart of Seminyak, but it is tucked away in a private lane so it is very quiet, your little paradise in Bali. I highly recommended!!

Villa Sukapadi: What a wonderful place!

My husband and I have just retuned from the most magic holiday in Bali, where we stayed at Villa Sukapadi in Seminyak. It is in the heart of the action, very close to all the best restuarants and shopping, fantastic rates, very private and absolutely GORGEOUS. It has two very generous bedrooms looking onto a great sized pool and open plan living/dining and kitchen. It is beautifully decorated and very well serviced by staff. The owner is a wonderful host, very respectful of privacy but also right there if you need anything....for example he kindly booked dinner for us at a fantastic restaurant and recommended the best shopping and massage place in town; which we took advantage of many times! We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bali, and can't recommend this villa highly enough....we never wanted to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Villa Sukapadi, Seminyak. The villa was perfect and we were very comfortable and at home. It was very hard to get us out of the lovely pool. Villa Sukapadi AMAZING!!!!

Perfect location, gorgeous Villa with everything you need. You will never want to leave! 5 STAR +++++ The photo’s don’t do the Villa justice, the pool, the bedrooms, the entertaining area are all fabulous, it is so well looked after you will think you are the first guests to ever use the Villa. Charles (the owner) was amazing, he arranged for us restaurant bookings (always the best table in the house), spa bookings, spa treatments in the Villa, Balinese dance lessons, and a chef when we wanted to stay in. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! Highly recommend to anyone looking at accommodation in Bali.

we have just had a week at the fabulous villa sukapadi in seminyak, bali. it was just fabulous, great location, gorgeous decor, charles was great and a mine of information, nothing was too much trouble, reservations and a wonderful local driver, gidday, for our drive up to ubud..for more food and pampering! it was a lovely week and we would highly recommend villa sukapadi.

We built Villa Sukapadi in 2008 with the thought in mind to offer a villa with a spacious and warm atmosphere and accommodate four persons in grand style. My wife, Laurence, is a French designer and spared no design concept for this villa. We welcome our guests and are available to attend to any wish, desire, or plan the guests may have.
