Welcome to our beautiful, non-smoking, waterfront home on Lake Anna in Mineral, Virginia. If you're in the mood for a relaxing vacation, this is the place for you!

Lake Anna has the peaceful and serene atmosphere that will immediately put you at ease and make you feel a million miles away from your everyday, hectic life. THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO TRULY RELAX! Situated on beautiful Lake Anna on the public side (which has access to waterfront restaurants, marinas and gas stations and the state park), this FIVE bedroom, three bath house has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. Master bedroom has queen bed and en-suite bathroom, bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have queen beds, bedroom 5 has a full/single bunkbed, as well as a single bed with trundle.

- 5 BR, 3 baths
- Over 3000 square feet of beautiful living space
- Huge decks overlooking the lake on both upper and lower level
- A fully equipped kitchen
- Huge bar and entertainment area downstairs, including foosball table, pool table, and TV area
- Tables with plenty of chairs for eating on upper deck (including new bar height fire table with chairs)
- Boat ramp adjacent to our property and boat dock

During the summer months (roughly June 1-Sept 1), we rent Sunday to Sunday, but are amenable to long weekend or partial week rentals in the off-season. Inquire for more details!

Even better than expected.

Based on the photos, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and open layout, which made it perfect for our gathering of family and friends. The design allowed us to use every inch of the space. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere that we all enjoyed. The location was great for us. Nestled on a peaceful cove within a no-wake zone, the water was clean and safe, ideal for swimming and lounging without any worries. We spent countless hours by the water. We also enjoyed lake views from most rooms ... even the kitchen. Evenings often included the cozy fire pit where we gathered for games of charades and s'mores. The two covered decks were perfect for dining, gaming, or simply taking a break from the sun while enjoying the beautiful landscape. The home itself is impeccably maintained, with updated bathrooms and well-appointed bedrooms that made our stay comfortable. The spacious kitchen was stocked with every tool imaginable, along with a variety of sauces & spices, and endless storage. While we wished we could have stored our boat inside the boathouse, the dock's water depth was acceptable, and we managed. The only tool missing for us was an ice machine to fill our boat cooler each day. The second fridge in the garage and a third (wine fridge) at the lower-level bar provided ample storage. The owners were incredibly hospitable, ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The house was spotless and everything was in working order. Great house and property.

Lake Life

If you’re at Lake Anna to actually use the lake and have fun this place is perfect. Great access to the lake right in a cove for boating and water sports. Owners were great, we actually had a medical emergency 10 minutes into our first day and they were extremely responsive and helpful while we get everything worked out. Would definitely rent here again

Great Get Away

What a great place on the lake. We were so pleased with the property. I have stayed at many vacation homes and this was by far the best in supplies in the kitchen, WOW! I was able to cook all of my meals and had the supplies I needed at hand. It was like being at home, but with a beautiful view and no daily chores!

Great house!

This was a great house for our extended family vacation. The kitchen was well equipped, there was enough seating for everyone and the outside deck was great! Heather checked in on us and was always very responsive to any questions.

It was okay

The lake itself was nice. There was aspects of the house that were nice. Some things that we thought would be included needed replacing such as paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. There are also a lot of nails sticking halfway out in the deck boards in various places. The communication with the owner was pleasent at first, however she did give us the wrong code at first which we understand that mistakes happen. But there was an incident the first day caused by teenage boys staying at another house and we had planned to call the owner the next day to explain the situation. However she called first and immediately started yelling without allowing me to talk and when the situation was explained there was no apology for being yelled at. Overall the stay was okay but we will not be returning.

Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay, the property is as described. Heather went above and beyond to answer questions and be accommodating. Very convenient location on the middle of the lake on Contrary Creek. Very close drive to the store. Excellent amenities, the children had a wonderful time playing with all of the games. Private dock, multiple seating areas.

Family Vacation 2023

Wonderful Home

The location and the home were absolutely wonderful. The house was so well stocked and had everything we could possibly need. We spent a lot of evenings at the firepit table on the deck which was so nice!! The only tricky part was we had a bigger boat/truck and it was a little tough to maneuver in and out of the driveway/boat launch. The host was absolutely wonderful and always so responsive! She even checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well and we had everything we needed! We truly had such a great trip and are grateful for everything! We will definitely be back!!

Everything It Stated It Was!

We were very happy there. As it worked out kids & youngest adults were downstairs, adults & baby upstairs. We had an issue that came up right away, they were there & had it fixed in a short time. Later we had problems with our boat. They kindly gave us advise on who they have used. It's nice to have your host local. We didn't spend a lot of time inside, we swam at the dock, went out on the boat. There were plenty of games & outside things to do. The 2-year-old loved playing with all their toys, more than he had at home & that's saying something! Thank you, Heather & her husband (forgot his name), you both were terrific! Thank you, Jo, Rick & our family!

Great place for our family vacation

This house is a fantastic place for families! I took my daughter, son in law and their children, 5 and 3 years old. They brought their boat and were able to put it in the water easily by using boat ramp which is very close to the house. Since the house had its own boat dock we were able to take the boat out daily. The downstairs play area with two bedrooms was perfect for the kids and their parents. There is an abundance of toys, books and DVD’s. The house is well furnished inside and out. We loved eating and relaxing on the upper deck. Heather was a wonderful hostess and quick respond to my questions. We will definitely go back!!

Great family stay

Heather was great to work with. Quick to respond if there are any questions. The house was well equipped for young children. Kitchen was stocked with more then expected. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. Very convenient to lake activities. Enjoyed the special touches, deck swing , rocking chairs, fire table. Thanks Heather.

Nice Vacation Property. Had a great time!

Nice, waterfront property with dock that you can swim from. They even had a play room with toys for the kiddies. Two kayaks came with the rental, and we loved them! Nice patio furniture and tables on the deck overlooking the lake. Owners were very responsive when asked to fix the internet. Need better bed pillows. Kitchen fluorescent bulbs above the sink were burned out. Lights above the kitchen cupboards did not work. Landscaping between the house and the lake needs some work. Overall, we had a great experience. We loved the house, and would rent this same house again, but there are some things that need a little updating.

Lake Getaway

This is just what we all needed. There was no need to go anywhere except to go to the store that was just a mile up the street. If you need some quiet time to reconnect with young adult children, this is the place. Firepit, foosball & pool tables, boat dock, large table to eat together and play games, and two large decks to just sit and talk. The stairs to the dock will need to be repaired soon. We would have liked a flatter area in order to play corn hole or catch.

Location is fantastic!

Our friends/family had a wonderful time at this property. So many things to do here and so much space inside to play games, build puzzles and make big dinners. We enjoyed exploring the lake via kayak and also just floating in sight of the house. Very relaxing!

Fabulous Memorial weekend

Look no further. This wonderful home was perfect for our family and friends get together. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain. The basement is a wonderful hang out place with pool table and football plus lots of games. There are three refrigerators to keep drinks cold. Our grandkids loved all of the toys at the home including a barbie dream home and bins of Legos. The pack and play and highchair were great too. The decks have lots of seating including new bar table with gas fire insert. Rocking chairs and picnic tables offer a great place to gather on the lower deck for a game of corn hole. There is a firepit for stores night. The area around it could use some leveling but still fun gathering around fire with the ton of split wood available. The boat house has a small deck with latter into the lake. There is a neighborhood boat ramp right around the corner with common docks and picnic tables. We had such a great time we never left the house.

Grateful for this house for family Thanksgiving

This house was perfect for our family of three generations gathering for a few days over Thanksgiving. The large table could fit all 10 of us. The kitchen was well stocked for fixing a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The pool table was a plus. In our non tech family we did need our 14 year old to figure out working the TV. Heather was a delight to rent from. She could not have been more helpful. All ages of our family were very happy with our five days in this house on the water.

Fantastic Lake Anna Getaway

Had our annual "guys" trip and the property and owner couldn't of been more accommodating. Was the perfect size for our group and the cove made for some great vibes. Would absolutely return.

Beautiful Fall Weekend

We had a wonderful time at this house. We were there for the Giant Acorn Triathlon and picked this house for its convenient location and spacious arrangements to accommodate family and friends. The house was clean and well laid out. The water temperature was perfect and we got to see a bald eagle right outside our window. The kids enjoyed swimming and fishing (there were a ton blue gills). We also visited a nearby Cidery (Coyote Hole Ciderworks) which was also very nice. Would highly recommend this house to other guests.

A Girls Getaway Weekend

Our group of 12 had the most relaxing time at this house for a girls weekend away. Communication while booking and prepping to come was so thorough and answered all my questions prior to getting there which was super helpful when coordinating with a group of our size. The house was just what we needed. It had a great open floor plan to allow us all to hang together both upstairs, downstairs and on the deck without feeling crammed, it was clean and included everything we needed. We will most definitely look to book this house again for our next visit to Lake Anna.

Communications with the owners from the very 1st payment were great. Heather help resolve an issue with VRBO. Home was big and comfortable. Location on the lake made the difference between “Good” and “Excellent”

My husband I bought this house pre-kids in 2003, and have loved raising our 4 kids on the water at Lake Anna! We love having a waterfront home, complete with everything we need for a variety of ages, and we love the serene, peaceful atmosphere that we have at the house. Sitting on the deck, having a cup of coffee, watching our kids enjoy all that the lake has to offer has been such a blessing!

It has it all - from the upper and lower decks with views of the lake from every room to the pool table , huge bar and second family room downstairs, there is a place at our house for everyone to truly relax. The Barbie house (Kidkraft wooden huge play house) has also been a huge hit with the under 8 crowd, as well as the Trio building block bin, legos, cars and large train bin - and LOTS of games and puzzles. We think our house has something for everyone! BTW, the huge soaker tub in the master is one of my fav features of the house!

We absolutely love the serene, peaceful feeling that we have EVERY time we are at the house. From the moment we bought the house, we felt like the lake just brings a sense of quiet relaxation that we all benefit from - and being able to see the lake from every room makes it all the more beautiful.
