Sand & Surf features 4 bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, 2.5 bathrooms that make showering and getting ready a breeze with a large group, a fully equipped kitchen with a brand new air fryer that doubles as a slow cooker so you can set it and go explore! Our beautifully decorated and on trend living space is the perfect spot to sit back put your feet up and watch a movie, read a book, or have family game night! Outside the fun continues with a large beautiful deck to enjoy the beautiful pine trees and birds, have a large family cook out while getting your corn hole tournament started! Finish your amazing day around the fire pit cooking s'mores and telling stories in our comfy Adirondack chairs.

Our driveway has room for up to 6 cars! Added bonus our Smart TV provides HULU streaming service as complimentary to all of our guests. This property features keyless entry. Each guest will be provided a 4 digit code that will last throughout their stay for secured entry to the property.

Fantastic Stay

As someone who reads reviews before renting a property, I give this rental 5 stars! Check in was a breeze and property is as advertised. Very roomy and so well furnished. Comfortable beds, great sectional in living room and husband was in love with large TV. Appreciated all the ceiling fans and overall temperature of house was comfortable. Having two large bedrooms with bathrooms on the first floor is a very nice layout. Large back deck was great and enough yard to accommodate pets. Located in a court made things very quiet and perfect for dog walks. Town of Ocean Pines covers all dining or grocery shopping needs. Highly recommend Abi’s Diner. Ocean Pines put you just close enough but just far enough away from Ocean City. We will not hesitate to stay at this property again and it was a positive and much needed vacation. Thank you Liza for sharing this property with others!

Nice Place…But not for a lot of children

Place was as described and check in was easy. It’s a nice place but not for a lot of children. We had a family vacation with 6 total children…..I’m guessing because of the high ceilings EVERYTHING echos. Hard for kids taking naps when everyone else is home. You can also hear upstairs very easily from downstairs bedroom. Another frustrating thing is the downstairs was freezing and the upstairs was really hot. Plenty of kitchen space. Near a lot of stores. Also have no idea what cleaning company was used but the bathrooms were dirty with hair and dust everywhere. The lack of TVs upstairs was also a downfall for children. Nice place for adults but I wouldn’t stay with large family again.

Thank you for your honesty. We realize that not every place is for everyone. We do have children of our own and have had no issues. We have found that is a nice quite cul de sac for them and they have been able to be in and out of the house safely. It has been especially nice when they wanted to ride their bikes in the cul de sac. We will have the AC looked into to see what can be done about the difference in temperature on the 2nd floor. We have also noted your concerns with our cleaning company so that this can be addressed as well. We thank you for staying with us! Wishing you all the best!

Great house!

My family and I needed a house to stay in as a last minute rental. Liza, the owner, was wonderful to deal with. She was very accommodating and the house was perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had a lot of space. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room. Will hopefully return at a future date.

Quick getaway

Sand and Surf was the perfect house for our last minute beach getaway, close to many locations in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the large deck and watching the hummingbirds (although my dog was more interested in the squirrels 😂). Bedroom 4 is listed as having a king - bunk bed (2). This is not accurate as there is only one king bed on the first floor. Due to this we brought the wrong sheet sizes but made due. I also think we were able to sort out the delivery of the beddings that has been occurring. We also noticed the freezer was not keeping things frozen (ice cream was very soft) and toward the end of the week the ice tray had water along with the ice cubes. The towel rack in the 1st floor bathroom needs to be fixed before it leaves a large whole in the wall or comes down completely. Overall we had plenty of space to spread out or come together. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

In 2022 the Grundy's purchased their first vacation rental property in their beloved Ocean Pines Maryland, a place they had frequented as a family for many years. Albert & Liza are incredibly excited and blessed to be able to now offer this vacation destination to other families in the hopes that they too will be able to create the lasting memories of fun in the Sand & Surf!
