This one-bedroom is designed with an open concept layout to feature a seamless flow and takes advantage of highlighting the beautiful views from the expansive windows. This unit tastefully highlights old Maui with fun pieces placed throughout the space.

If guests are interested in preparing their local finds, then the kitchen is equipped to provide you with everything needed to prepare a meal from home. The stately kitchen has all cookware and appliances needed such as a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave, blender, and toaster. The kitchen offers a generous amount of space to chop and prepare meals overlooking the living room. The unit also has seating for two at the kitchen bar for guests to enjoy local coffee.

The living room features carpeting and is fully furnished to include a comfy sofa, a lounger, and a dining space that seats four guests featuring the view. Opening the living room doors is a wonderful way to relish the breeze. Consider catching up on the local news on the flat-screen cable TV.

Experience comfort in the plush two queen-sized beds fitted with premium pillows and linens. Soak up the view in bed or enjoy the second flat-screen cable TV. The expansive en suite bathroom features two sinks and a modern shower.

For guests traveling with more friends and family, inquire if unit A514 is available upon booking because this unit has an adjoining door. Guests can enjoy their space while spending more time together.

Additional conveniences include air conditioning and WiFi.

Disappointed

We were bit and covered in bed big bites. Despite showing chasing rainbows pictures they claimed that there were no bed bugs. After a struggle they let me out of our last two nights and comped us. Third but we were forced to move rooms costing us way more than the original trip cost. I requested a Compass the trip and it’s entirety to offset the additional cost or work something out and they continue to take the position that there were no big bugs and they were ignoring our requests. We will be challenging the charges with our bank and posting pictures of the bites if chasing rainbows does not take responsibility. The AK Villas are great especially the staff. But chasing rainbows management company really dropped the ball here (which is especially disappointing since I’ve stayed with them dozens of times this exact hotel)

Great location

Pool and cafe close to beach. Nice beach. Can walk to Black Rock. Unit was spacious, updated, and beautiful. However, fruit flies were an issue in bathroom.

Disappointing - Not worth the money

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price/night it did not meet our expectations. We come to Maui frequently and this unit was the poorest for the cost/night. Last year we spent less money on a different property that had a partial ocean view, lovely furnishings, a great bed, a well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful lanai. The mattresses and sheets in this unit are of poor quality and the sheets are ill fitting; do not stay on the bed through a night’s sleep. The bed was a crumpled mess every morning. The were pesky gnats inside the condo. The kitchen was minimally equipped with the necessities. The bar stools were the wrong height for the bar level countertop so you couldn’t really use them. Everything seemed to be done on the cheap down to the Kleenex and toilet paper. This is fine if you are staying at a Motel 6. I think you expect that. It is not great when you are spending north of $700/night. Keep in mind, even though a place like this rented for $465.50/night. After taxes, the additional charges, the hotel parking fee and the VRBO fee, you are looking at ~$715/night!!! While I knew there wasn’t going to be one, honestly, I really missed not having a lanai as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Relaxed atmosphere for the resort, close to beach and pool, partial ocean view, lots of light and space in the apartment. This was an amazing room plenty of space perfect amenities! They were super easy to communicate with and the area has everything you need beach within easy walking distance wonderful pool awsome restaurant!
