Downstairs bedrooms can be rented but access is via sliding doors and can not be accessed within the home due to a bathroom renovation project.

Black Oak Manor, located in Coarsegold, conveniently off of the 41 on your way to Yosemite National Park. Take a drive to enjoy Yosemite, Bass Lake, & surrounding attractions. After exploring, relax in our spacious 7 Bed+GmeRm 3.5 Ba Villa with expansive wraparound deck to enjoy sunsets. Soak in hottub, dip in the pool, gather around firepit, or watch movies/play games in our 1Ksqft Gameroom. Prepare meals for entire family in our fully equipped kitchen!

INDOOR LIVING: the indoor space has been totally reimagined and updated for luxury living; 5 King Bedrooms with all new luxurious bedding ideal for families, a double Queen room and bunk bed room, and the large Game Room (Queen sleeper sofa), new dining table, ceiling fans throughout, new fireplace in main entertainment space, new sofas. Make yourself at home and enjoy!

GAME ROOM: 1000 sq foot of fun filled family time. New bar with full refrigerator to avoid walking back and forth to kitchen for your favorite drink, Giant projector screen for movie night equipped with a popcorn machine, complimentary starter popcorn, pool table, poker table, karaoke machine, piano, and full bathroom.

GOURMET KITCHEN: Fully equipped large kitchen, island w/ seating, coffee bar, complimentary K-Cups, toaster, dish-ware/flatware

GENERAL: Free WiFi, central heating & air conditioning, washer & dryer, linens, towels, complimentary starter toiletries, hairdryer, keyless entry

Note: This is a mountain home and fast internet is available via Starlink. Pretty reliable service but not 100% gauranteed.

SUITABILITY: a few steps required for access, a few bedrooms can be accessed with no steps, ring doorbell + 3 exterior security cameras (perimeter only)

PARKING: No garage parking but plenty of parking on the grounds. Large vehicles with trailers can also park on the grounds (~ 5 acres)

Perfect family/group vacation rental

Great multi-family destination

We were five families with teens. It was a perfect place for us. The large game room was where the teens stayed (bring air mattresses!). The pool was perfect for cooling off in hot weather -- and for getting the teens to get off their screens and out into the sun. The hot tub was great for when things cooled off in the evening. The owners are VERY responsive to any issues that come up -- running low on TP, propane, etc. The main floor is not wheelchair accessible (the downstairs is), but even that is something that the owners seem open to working on.

Fantastic Fun

This review should have been put up as soon as we were back home. Black Oak Manor is a wonderful abode to create memories with family or friends. We were here with 3 other families and their kids. From adults to kids as young as 2y enjoyed being here. The home itself is spacious, very clean and well maintained. The Host has been very thoughtful and gone above board to make this place welcoming. From the popcorn and s'mores to bathroom amenities and pool toys everything is made available for fun and leisure. The game room has something for everyone and very very entertaining. The host was so prompt with all the communication despite my multiple queries and last minute requests. We were at a very convenient location to commute to Bass Lake or Yosemite and could not have asked for a more restful and wonderful place to relax and have fun as well. We look forward to coming back here again in the near future.

Incredible Mountain/ Lake retreat !!

Our Family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed this Amazing property! It had Everything one could want , starting with an amazing Pool & spa, fully stocked kitchen , plenty of rooms, and incredible Game room with pool table with its own AC & Refrig, movie projector.. G-kids didnt want to leave! - lol. We enjoyed nearby Bass Lake but made time to get back to the Pool & spa . With a kind & responsive host , you'll love this place!

Great Stay!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Black Oak Manor. We were impressed by the house and all the thoughtful amenities it had to offer. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and laundry detergent, as well as snacks and ingredients for s'mores! We stayed here for easy access to Yosemite, but it ended up being further than we expected. It's about 40 minutes to the south gate entrance, but it takes another 40 minutes to get to the valley. It is close to Oakhurst (15 minute drive) for a variety of restaurants. Communication was great with the owners. They responded quickly to questions and concerns we had. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

Yosemite is a fantastic National Park and Coarsegold is one of the few cities that allow Short Term Rentals. Finding lodging to visit the park is hard and being able to book a large Villa like this enables groups to get together! My family which includes two young kids enjoy all the Yosemite and Bass Lake activities and the area has something for every age group.

7 Bedrooms is tough to find. A giant 1000 sq foot game room + pool + hot tub are usually not all in the same home. A lot of guests actually just spend the day at the home relaxing (kids can be occupied with movies, pool, or the play set among other amenities while adults can chat in the large living room, around the kitchen island, or anywhere really (5 acre lot).
