The Sandcastle is a completely updated beachfront home that has been owned by a single family for over 40 years, and is now available for renters too! The Sandcastle is located on some of the most prized beachfront property on the entire island, featuring some of the BEST FISHING, SHELLING, AND SUNSET-WATCHING in southwest Florida. Step outside your door and walk ten feet of white sandy beach to the water. This location is so private that you may go an entire day without seeing anyone else on your beach. Enjoy the pristine waters and exceptional fishing, all to yourself!

The house was designed to take full advantage of the beautiful beachfront location. A huge sundeck expands the length of the home, and is ideal for enjoying your morning coffee while watching schools of breaching dolphin, meandering manatees, and osprey diving to catch fish. The beautiful custom kitchen features an open design and is fully equipped, including plenty of dishes and equipment to make and enjoy homemade dinners. The living room features a pull-out queen sofa bed, and a huge flat screen TV with satellite and DVD player. The master bedroom features an unbelievably comfortable king-size bed, full bathroom, flat screen TV, and dresser. The second bedroom has two twin beds, perfect for the kids, with a flat screen TV and dresser. We also have baby items like a Pack n' Play, highchair, and toys. There are two full bathrooms with all-new linens. The decor is playful, modern and cozy, perfect to make you feel at home during your beach vacation. If you need something we don't have, a simple call to the property manager will fix that!

Beautiful North Captiva Island (also called Upper Captiva), is one of Florida's best-kept vacation secrets! The island remains COMPLETELY NATURAL, without paved roads, cars, or crowds of tourists. Our island's sandy roads are traveled by bicycle and golf cart, and North Captiva can only be reached by boat or private aircraft. Our property manager will help you arrange transportation (including a water taxi from the mainland), groceries, and how to fully enjoy the island. There are three restaurants and two gift boutiques on island. Kayaks, paddleboards, and watercraft are available for rent, and fishing expeditions can be arranged for full or half day adventures! A golf cart can also be rented for your time on the island through us, but is not included with the rental. The secluded island is not for everyone - only for those who desire a natural getaway with time to relax. Almost half of the island is dedicated to a state nature preserve. Nearly four miles of white sand beaches await you, without the hustle and bustle of many other vacation destinations. We hold a deep respect for natural beauty and wildlife of the island - this is truly one of the few places on the planet where the delicate balance between man and nature has withstood the test of time.
