Fully remodel!! Beachfront property on a swimmable ocean. It is like staying in your private resort. Enjoy stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. Located in Rancho Leonero in a quiet, peaceful paradise! One-story home with a private pool and steps away from the best snorkeling and sandy swimmable beaches! November through March is a paradise for windsurfers! Experience the most magical sunrises, colorful sunsets, and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The property consists of the main house and two separate casitas. The main house has two private master bedrooms. One casita has a Queen and two twin beds. The other casita has two full bedrooms. Enjoy the 6th bedroom steps away from the ocean. This home has linens, towels, satellite TV, WIFI, and a fully equipped Kitchen. Also, you will have access to 2 Kayaks, two paddle boards, snorkeling gear, six beach chairs, and two beach umbrellas. Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy some incredible culinary experiences at the New Four Seasons Costa Palmas. They have four fantastic restaurants: Casa de Brasa, Limon, Mozza, and Milos. You are recognized as one of the finest restaurants in Baja. I need you to please be reservation.
Our home manager, Fernando, for an extra charge, can arrange airport transportation, grocery shopping, personal chef, ATV tours through the desert to a magnificent waterfall or by the beach, excursions to Cabo Pulmo, one of the most amazing places for scuba diving, horseback riding on the beach, professional or armature fishing experiences, zip lining, water park adventures, and more! This place is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet, beautiful vacation or looking for big adventures! New pictures will be posted at the end of December 2023

Casa del Sol - great for groups

We have stayed at Casa Del Sol many times under different owners. As always, the location is incredible, the views are spectacular and snorkeling is amazing. We had the maximum # of guests and the house held everyone perfectly. The house is showing its age and the new owners are committed to a big remodel, pool and all. I am sure it will be even more incredible. We did have some issues that the ice machine did not work, or that there was a way to make any ice. We had to have Fernando bring us ice daily and we also purchased when in town. The refrigerators will obviously need to be replaced when the remodel happens. The area is changing with the new Four Seasons going in and plans for the old fishing lodge next door that is under new corporate ownership. Old Baja is going away - so get there before the area loses it's old world charm.

Fantastic Property and Overall Experience

Our family of twelve ( 8 adults and 4 teenagers) just returned from a week at the house. Finding a property that can handle 4 married couples and boy/girl teenagers is hard. However, this property was perfect. The property is a little remote, but worth the drive (around 1 hr) from the Cabo airport. The House Manager, Fernando, was super to work with before we arrived making arrangements for the family as well as any needs we had during the week. Fernando arranged 2 new vans to pick us up at the airport, take us to fishing trips, snorkeling, shopping and back to the airport. He also arranged to have 2 massage therapists come to the house and do massages for 7 people one day. And the favorite part of the house is Fernando introduced us to his Aunt, Chef Lucia, to cook dinner all 7 nites we were there. Before we arrived, she provided 12 dinner menu options and we picked one for each night. It was so great to walk in from the pool at 6PM each nite and see a buffet dinner all ready to go! She does this for several properties, so make arrangements well ahead of your arrival date to ensure she is available. There is also a fishing resort right down the beach, where we could walk and buy margaritas to sip on the beach or at the pool. Just plan to bring US$ cash for most of this. We even had a problem purchasing groceries with a credit card at one large market, but Fernando did bring us to an ATM that issued USD. We all highly recommend spending a week here.

Just Perfect!

The property is just as described, even better. So much room, great views, right on the beach. We had a wonderful time. The house is so well appointed so many towels, kitchen gadgets, and water craft. The is a stretch of beach that is so beautiful and private. Excellent snorkling, kayaking, paddling and boating right from tge beach.

A Fantastic Getaway

Our second time staying here and we hope to return sooner than later! Wonderful and attentive house manager, amazing chef, friendly taxi service. ATV rentals were fantastic and turn-key. Travelled here with friends and family and it was definitely a crowd pleaser!

Best house ever for our group of 8

We are a group of 8 friends who travel annually to Baja. This house was the most perfect EVER! It’s spacious, roomy, has LOTS of shade (more important for us than sun).. Easy access to beach. When it was windy we could move to the front of the property, otherwise we hung out in the VERY long covered patio outside the kitchen/living area. So many spots to hang out, whether alone or to play dominos or whatever! Beds comfy, the back smaller casitas were perfect for the two single people. Property owner & manager both very responsive to questions. HIGHLY recommend this beautiful property in paradise.

Wonderful family vacation

We have a large family, 13 people! This was a perfect getaway for us. Enough space for everyone to be together and have their own space. We cooked a lot at the house, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans/utensils. Snorkeling right on the beach in front of the house was wonderful. Fernando helped us rent an ATV and arranged massages at the house. Highly recommend!!! It was a quiet, gorgeous property off the beaten path of noisy and busy Cabo. We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful happy place

Repeat visit to this lovely property. Very satisfied with the handling of a couple issues we encountered, the new owners were responsive and generous in making sure we were happy. you won’t be disappointed no matter what you’re looking for in an “out of town” Style vacation. Fernando and crew always the best, reliable, helpful during your stay

Wonderful

It was a wonderful stay and after a 2 year delay, due to Covid concerns, it was particularly special for our whole group to finally make the trip. The property is under new ownership. We had to cancel previous reservations and make new ones with the new owners. Toni, one of the new owners, was very helpful in working with us to do make the trip happen. Check in was smooth and the property was very clean. It is a wonderful location with a great view and lots of amenities. There were a number of small things needing attention (remote controls not working, a couple of ceiling fans not operating, etc.) that are likely a result of the recent change in ownership and likely to be addressed. It is a bit of a drive on a sandy/dirt road with some bumps and washboard sections but it well worth it. Having an SUV or van definitely makes it more enjoyable. We all thoroughly enjoyed Casa del Sol and look forward to returning. Thanks again Toni for helping us have a very special reunion of college friends.
