The view in the living room is of the Wester Church, and the Keizersgracht Canal, and the bedroom looks out at trees and gardens. The large living room has two couches,(one is comfortable enough for sleeping) It is very sunny and bright. There is also a new wood burning fireplace., and a television. There are cafes and restaurants on the street, as well as a supermarket right next door,. It is an easy trip to Central Station.(3 tram stops) The neighborhood (The Jordaan) has many unique, boutique type shops as well as neighborhood stores. It is a very convenient area in the heart of the historic district. We are two blocks from the Anne Frank House, three blocks to the Dam, and it is a 15 or 20 minute walk to the Museum area. Vondel Park is a ten minute tram ride, The wonderful Noordemarket(organic foods on Sat., and antiques on Monday) is five blocks away, and De Hallen is a 20 minute walk or a 4 stop tram ride. There are several bicycle rental shops within a block.
