Welcome to Written in the Stars, a cozy, family-friendly beach house just steps from the sand in Pierpont Beach. With water views from nearly every balcony and a private fenced patio made for evenings by the fire pit, this home captures the easy rhythm of California coastal living. This is the kind of place you settle into quicklyā€”doors open to the ocean breeze, sunsets light up the balconies, and everything feels simple and relaxed.

Guests enjoy private, exclusive access to the entire multi-level home, including all living areas and the fenced outdoor patio.
Check-in is seamless with keyless self-entry.

**Booking process
After booking, you will receive a message asking you to confirm your reservation and digitally sign our standard rental agreement.
Once signed, you will be emailed access to your Guest Portal, where all important information lives, including check-in details, WiFi, and local recommendations.
Your entry code will be released 48 hours before check-in inside the Guest Portal.
Early check-in may be requested through the Guest Portal when available.
A $25 per dog, per stay pet fee applies and can be paid through the Guest Portal or HostCo Store.

We had a great time. Everything was great at the house, it was clean, beds were comfortable, check-in was easy. We were lucky to have had great weather during our stay. It was a quick walk around the corner to the restaurants and to the market. I appreciate Lisa and Morgan's willingness to take care of any issues that may have arose, but we didn't need anything

The location of the property was great. We never had to get into our car while we were there. Shopping and restaurants were all in walking distance. We were disappointed that the sleeper couch in the living room was not the one we saw in the listing. Instead it was a standard pull out couch that was not very comfortable. The place was very sandy when we arrived and we had a toilet that ran unless it was jiggled. The grill was dirty and not operable so we had to adjust our cooking plans one night. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation but according to the listing we thought we had nicer accommodations.

The location of this property is prime. It was steps away from the beach and the cute little town of Pierpont was conveniently located nearby with all the stores and restaurants. The house was stocked with all the necessities even for my dog. I did find that the bedroom downstairs was not as clean as I would have liked with the floors needing some cleaning.. Literally within 10 minutes of notifying management a cleaner was there to take care of the cleaning. I was extremely impressed and pleased.

Nice weekend at the beach

The property was great for our group. We enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. The property is almost ocean front with easy access to the beach. We were also walking distance to shops. Great property and great location.

My family really enjoyed staying at this house. Opening the door and listening tI the sound of the waves, was so peaceful and relaxing. We had asked if there was an ironing board and iron and they brought one within an hour. We would definitely stay here again!

Can't Beat The Location

We had such a great time in this very nice house. The beach was just steps away. Three story house gave everyone plenty of space and the two kids each got their own bathroom. We're already talking about coming back at some point soon.

Relaxing Beach House Vacation!

Our family travelled from 2 other states to visit with family in Ventura for Thanksgiving, and this was the perfect beach house getaway! Those who stayed in the beach house loved falling asleep to the waves at night and everyone totally enjoyed stepping right out the door to walk on the beach or sitting on the balcony or beach-front chairs to watch surfers, sunsets, pelicans, and dolphins. The host was so accommodating and provided everything you could possibly need including beach towels, an outdoor faucet by the front door to rinse your feet, outdoor shower, outdoor patio, all kitchen amenities, huge comfy beds, and 3 bathrooms! Checkout was the easiest, most stress-free of any place weā€™ve ever stayed. We canā€™t wait to come back and stay there again!

Ventura beach townhouse

The property was fine overall and very clean. There are a few things we didn't like. There was only one chair in the living room and it shows 2 in the picture. The coffee pot dribbled and there are no grab bars in the bath tub. Our host Lisa was extremely difficult to get ahold of. I had to ask her twice for our entry codes and when I emailed about a large ceiling texture problem in the garage she didn't respond at all. It looked like there had been a water leak recently and the ceiling drywall just finally gave way. The location was great and we did have a very nice time over all. We would not rent this again though due to all the stairs. I didn't realize that you had to go upstairs to the 2nd master bedroom. It would be nice to have an icemaker also.

Great beach house

This condo is only one house away from a beautiful beach. Itā€™s in a quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and shopping. I love that they allow dogs. There is also inside garage space. There are lots of stairs! Our family enjoyed our stay.

A clean and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfy and little extras made it a perfect place to stay. We were there with another couple and it was so nice to have separate space. Vicky C. January 2025
