Free wireless DSL. Stay in a remodeled island style one-bedroom condo with a King size bed, direct oceanfront condominium on world-famous Alii Drive. Remodeled kitchen and bath with granite counters. The condo sleeps 2 guests. The unit is decorated in tropical decor. Watch whales, dolphins, and sea turtles from your lanai (balcony) which is just 20 feet from the ocean, or just relax and enjoy the sunsets while dining on your private lanai. A sandy beach is located next door. A favorite for local surfers! This is a Non-Smoking Unit and complex.

Your condominium is fully equipped with everything you need. From a complete kitchen to the little extras of VCR/DVD movies, CDs, games, puzzles, books, beach chairs/mats, and a cooler. Just bring your bathing suit and flip flops!

Location, location, location. This condo’s setting is outstanding—right on the ocean with beautiful sunsets and an easy walk to all the downtown Kona spots.Previous reviews mentioned that the AC is only in the living area, not the bedroom, but we found sleeping very comfortable with the ceiling fan and tower fan in the bedroom helping to circulate the air.The ceiling fan in the living room was not functioning during our stay, and we did notify the owner. Given that it was the week of Christmas, we understand how difficult it can be to schedule a handyman.The owner provided great beach amenities—chairs, beach toys, masks, and snorkels—which were very much appreciated and added to our enjoyment.Overall, we had a wonderful week and truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Exactly as advertised

The condo is very clean and functional. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need even if you decide to cook. The shining light, of course, is the location. Right on the ocean and easy walking distance to anything in Kailua.

The disher washer, some electrical outlets, garbage disposal there was a odor in the bathroom .

Nice condo and great view

Very nice property and location to the downtown area. Pool and spa is very nice. We enjoyed our time. Only one thought is that after being closed up for a few hours there tends to be a slightly musty smell. It goes away quickly once the door-wall and entry doors are opened. This would not prevent us recommending the property. It was very clean and well kept. Kitchen and bathroom are both nice. Ocean view is spectacular. Leslie is good to work with and answered all our questions. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional View, Location and Lovely Host

The oceanfront view from our condo was exceptional. We were able to watch the ocean and its magic every day. We were close to many amenities on AliI Drive which was also very handy. Our condo had everything we could have possibly needed and Leslie was easy to access and took exceptional care of us! Mahalo Leslie and Kailua-Kona!

Great Location

This oceanfront condo has beautiful views and is walking distance to downtown Kona. An array of restaurants…Huggo’s is our personal favorite. We had a great time sitting on the lanai every morning watching surfers. Definitely recommend!!!

Amazing Location (amenities need improving)

Review This location will always rent because of where it is located! It’s in a beautiful scenic area right in the heart of Kailua Kona, right on the ocean. The sound of the waves crashing right outside our lanai was lovely! The view was/is spectacular! There are things that I look for when booking a premium (meaning expensive!) short term rental, such as location but also the quality of amenities like sheets, towels, kitchen furnishings, access to additional items (cooler, toilet paper, paper towels etc.) The place could benefit from a good overhaul and it feels small upon entering. The Air Conditioner dis not cool very well, but there is adequate fans to help circulate the air, it got hot on a couple of days even with everything shut and the AC on high. The amenities were most disappointing, the beach towels provided were threadbare and scarce, there weren’t additional sheets for the bed, after the second night we changed them due to an unpleasant aroma coming from the bedding or the bathroom, the coffee grinder didn’t work, and some of the pans were warped completely unusable. Upon check in, we were provided a building address but not the unit number which was frustrating, and delayed our usage. The property is good, the pool is cool but usable and the hot tub was nice, Getting into the pool was a bit dodgy, as the key doesn’t immediately open the lock. We spent 8 days in the condo and I do feel it was overpriced for what we got for our money!

Nice Condo Unit

The location of this Kona Reef unit is very good. The unit is ocean front and very nice. The complex is quiet and has a very nice pool area and an immaculate BBQ area. The complex is a short walk to many restaurants and shops. The owner was helpful and easy to reach if needed. The unit is well stocked, the furniture is nice and very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable as well. The air conditioner struggles to cool the unit. It kinda works but not very well. Once we received instructions to the unit we also were requested to start a load of laundry prior to leaving. I thought that is what the cleaning deposit was for. There is a nice park next to the unit but unfortunately it has several homeless people living there. Overall this is a very nice place to stay.

Can't beat the view from the lanai

Perfect location on Ali'i Drive. Easy walking distance the shops and restaurants and the best coffee (Kona Haven). Also only an hour drive from Waimea north or South Point south. And you can't beat the view from the lanai -- right onto the beach, always plenty to see: surfers, rowers and of course amazing sunsets. If we ever go back to Hawaii, this is where we'd stay.

Outstanding view !

Ahhh… the lanai! A great place to watch the boarders and surfers tackle some pretty good waves right in front of you! Or to eat suppers watching glorious sunsets! Or the daily passing of spinner dolphins and multi manned canoeists (bring binoculars for close up viewing). This unit is very well located with a small beach right next door and shopping or restaurants within walking distance. Groceries were nearby with several store options. A car rental is recommended for visiting so much more on the island and for getting to some of the best snorkeling spots where we swam with turtles and unicorn fish! Highly recommend the trip to snorkel with the Manta rays! Truly an experience. This rental unit is very well equipped with cooking and beach gear. Very enjoyable cooling off at the pool where you can lounge within full view of the ocean. We found Leslie to be very responsive to our needs and would definitely choose this lovely unit again on our return!

Amazing sunsets

View was amazing. So peaceful here but if you want action it Was a five minute walk away! Condo is well equipped and comfy! Pool/grilling area was great too! Lots of friendly people!

Incredible views!

I LOVED staying here!! Everything morning I would have my coffee in the lanai with the ocean mere feet away! I would watch the surfers and listen to the waves crashing. Heaven! The unit was fully stocked with everything we needed! Next time I am back in Kona I will stay here! Thank you!!!

Oceanside gem

This was truly an oceanside condo, with the lanai being 30 feet from the waves. We nearly lived on the lanai, watching morning sunrises and evening sunsets and limitless views of the ocean. The location in Kona was just right, with a 10-minute walk down Ali'i Drive to restaurants and shops. The unit was clean and well-appointed, and the condo complex and pool area well-maintained and never crowded. Leslie, our host, was always available for questions, extrememely pleasant and helpful. Overall, a great experience and a place we would return to.

Enjoying your meals (and cocktails) from the lanai watching the sunsets/sunrise and all of the ocean activitity going on right in front of you. It is hard to leave the lanai! With the great location you are just a short walk to restaurants and shops. Oh...and the oceanfront pool...a great way to relax or just read a book.
