We had a phenomenal time here! 4 kids under 8, 2 adults. The home had everything we needed. The washer/dryer was a huge plus. Clean, comfortable beds and was pleased to see mattress protectors. The grounds were clean, accessible, and welcoming. Can’t beat poolbeach access right out your front door! Robin was so polite and helpful. We are already planning our trip here next year!

Great location on the island. The beach was never crowded. We enjoyed the large pool and Sunny Shack for lunch. Perfect for family of 4 with teens. The rental app for my phone was user friendly and made for a smooth arrival and departure. We would book here again as it would be hard to beat.

Perfect location

Easy drive from the airport to a semi private location. Accurately described location and well maintained property. Beautiful location featuring gorgeous sunsets over the water. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely, private condo complex on the beach!

Nice layout with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Love the beach, pool, and the ability to get lunch or a cold beverage poolside! Great location and easy drive to Frederiksted for amazing diving at the pier!

Great place!

Had a wonderful time. The condo complex is a bit isolated/away from other condos, which we liked and made it more peaceful. Beautiful beach area-well maintained with umbrellas, chairs, pool, hammock, etc

Weekend getaway

The condo was great. It was well equipped with all beach necessities. The resort itself was beautiful and truly felt like paradise. Robin was easy to communicate with.

Sun, Sand and Mongooses

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, comfortable and had all the necessities we needed. A home away from home. The property grounds and pool are well maintained. It was truly a relaxing environment where we could soak up the sun and we even had a few mongoose sightings.

Great location and condo!!! Definitely enjoyed my stay at Gentle Winds. Water pressure was low in showers, one toilet was not working properly, but would recommend this location to anyone wanting to have a great vacation in St. Croix!

Great location!

We had a perfect stay at Gentle Winds! Robin is great to work with- very responsive to any questions you may have. The condo was perfect for our family of four. The amenities at the complex were exactly what we needed for our teenagers. The location was fabulous! This wasn’t our first time on the island but it was our first time staying on the North Shore, and we will definitely be coming back!

Great property and condo

The Gentle Winds property is spacious and lovely. And this condo is newly redone, with a wonderful view, large kitchen and nice floor plan. While Gentle Winds is sort of out of the way, it makes up for it with a nice beach side food and drink shack that we ordered from several times. The beach here is nice, but if you snorkel, you'll still want to drive to other beaches and the pier for the best snorkeling.

Very nice and clean. Well equipped. Would have liked a tv in at least one of the bedrooms. And a better pull out sofa. A great location. Can’t go wrong in gentle winds

Perfectly relaxing!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location—private beach and tranquil surroundings, yet enough resort-like amenities to entertain. Start your day lounging with a book next to the ocean, grab lunch and a beverage from the canteen followed by a dip in the pool. Then enjoy a game of shuffle board, ping pong or “bags” before hitting the town for a sunset dinner. Robin was welcoming and accommodating to our family of five. Absolutely perfect!

Christmas Get-away

We loved our stay on St Croix. We rented a car and drove all over the island, exploring and taking in the scenes. This location worked well as we spent a lot of time during our 9 days in both Christensted and Fredricksted. The only real issue we had was no cell service from the condo. Wifi worked. The condo was clean and comfortable. The A/C was glorious and kept us cool. Surprisingly, the pool was pretty cold despite temps in the mid 80's. We really didn't spend much time on the property other than to sleep, but it was a beautiful location, well maintained. We desire to move to St Croix in the coming years.

Perfect location, lovely complex

This centrally located condo has all the amenities! Located on the north shore with easy access to west and east sides of island- and not far from the airport! The complex itself is perfect. Loads of space, not busy- and we were there during spring break. The pool is so close to the beach, we loved it. The beach is perfection. Chairs and shade available all day, every day. There is amazing snorkeling and beautiful views. And, with the food shack/bar right there M-Su, 12-5p (even open on Easter), you can literally never leave. A few times we ate early 4pm dinners and spent the entire day there. Our condo was nice- we were on a first floor condo which we liked because we could walk right out to the beach from our porch (no stairs). We did have a noisy neighbor upstairs a few of the days we were there, and some smoking neighbors to our right…but those things can be unavoidable. We had 2 bed/2bath, which was perfect for our fam of 4. Our 2 teenagers liked the beach hammock at night…they had some freedom and it felt safe….which was nice for all of us. Also, plenty of parking and our condo was well-equipped with towels, deet-free bug spray (came in handy at bio-bay) and kitchen was fully stacked. Robin was very responsive before/during, check-in/out was easy. We would stay at Gentle Breezes again!

Nice condo, wonderful location.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. This was our 3rd time at this complex, first time in this condo. The condo had everything we needed and lots of extras like tennis/pickle ball rackets and balls which were great as we played tennis! There were pool floats and miscellaneous snorkel gear, camp chairs for the beach, although reclining beach chairs would be better! The condo was well stocked with plenty of towels and sheets. We only used the queen bed and it was very comfortable. The reason I am not giving a full 5 stars is the condo needs some improvements to match the price of the rental. Both shower heads need to be replaced, and the bathrooms could use some attention. The toilets are rusting at the floor which makes the floor look dirty and never clean. There were some scatter rugs that were falling apart and dirty. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was broken and the AC unit in the master bedroom had an error message and didn't work. The central AC worked fine but I think the vents need to be cleaned because the condo had a nasty odor in it. When the AC was on and when it wasn't. Paula does a great job cleaning with what she has to work with. The place just needs some upgrades. Robin the property manager was great also, very prompt with a couple questions I had. Gentle Winds is wonderful, the pool, the tennis courts, the ocean front, and the surrounding grounds are why we return.
