We had another great week for the second time at Bahia Mar. The place was clean, organized, and the host was fast to reply all my messages. We hope to come back next year.

We loved that it was pet friendly but the noise levels at times were unbearable. Many kids running and screaming and pounding in the floors above. Altogether it was a great stay just not real quiet.

We’re very sorry that the noise affected your stay. Since these are privately owned rental condos within a resort, unfortunately we cannot always foresee when children may be playing or making noise around the property. However, if the noise becomes excessive, guests can always contact the resort security guards, who are available to help address the situation. We do wish you had let us know during your stay so we could have also tried to assist. We take great pride in our condo and are disappointed that this experience led to a 3-star rating.

Thank you for the stay at your condo. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I truly enjoyed my time and would gladly stay again in the future. Beach and pool is so close by as well. Must come back soon again

We had a great time at the property! It was clean and the location was great! Loved the ability to head straight to the beach or pool. Very easy to get around the island!

Love Bahia Mar

This trip was to see SPI during winter and celebrate friends 50 th anniversary. We have stayed at Bahia Mar many times and this condo was great. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the waves. Furniture very comfortable. My husband and I just needed time away at one of our favorite places. We will be back to this beautiful condo.

Beds were super comfy and furniture was in great condition. Linens and towels weren't fancy but were fine. It's clearly an apartment used only for vacation rentals, so don't expect a particularly well stocked kitchen. Very small amounts of basics were provided (a couple rolls of cheap toilet paper and paper towels for example), but we needed to shop for things like soap, shampoo, additional paper products, cooking basics. There are no provisions for enjoying the beach such as toys, boards, beach towels, etc. There are tents and chairs set out each morning by the resort to rent for 60-75/day (the price difference is academy camping chairs vs wooden loungers), but the actual quality of these tents and chairs is pretty low and at least on the days we were there they weren't actually set up until close to noon. The renting process was frustrating.There are two large pool/hot tub combinations available and then a smaller kids pool/splashpad. However we were not able to enjoy the pools because of crowds of families in both pools/hot tubs all four nights we were there. It would be nice if one of the pools became 18 after a certain time. Pools close at 10. There is a strip of wicker patio furniture with umbrellas set out by the beach shower facilities that were open pretty much any time we wanted them. There is visible and friendly police/security presence during regular business hours. There is no bar or restaurant on site and no regularly staffed front desk.

Our condo is a vacation rental, and we provide a starter supply of basic essentials for guests’ arrival. We do recommend that guests staying several nights plan to purchase additional personal items and cooking supplies according to their needs. We also appreciate your comments regarding the beach setup and pool usage, and we’ll certainly keep your suggestions in mind. Summer stay 24

The condo needed a deeper cleaning. There was work and painting being done on the roof while we were there. It was loud. We would of preferred that be done with no guest present

There was a storm a week before and the condo upstairs needed their roof fixed. We strive to schedule maintenance during vacant periods but this was unexoected, and we're sorry this impacted your stay. Not very clean

The property was good, unfortunately it was dirty. So Some must have had a dog or something. I had to vacuum and swifter the floors. There were also a couple cockroaches.
