Awesome family time!!!!

Great location, house was perfect with lots of room! The outside was great and we took our Tritoon boat and tied it up on the boat dock! Boat ramp close (Tracey point) 5 to put in, super easy!!!This will be a yearly family gathering for us!!We will definitely book again..owner super friendly and accommodating!

***Outstanding Lake House Experience- Exceeded All Expectations!*** Our group of 5 adults just returned from an absolutely perfect week at this beautiful home on Lake Panasoffkee and we couldn't be happier with our choice! Katty was an exceptional host from start to finish. Her thoughtful personal touches before our arrival set the tone for became the most relaxing vacation we've had in years. Her communication and hospitality were top-notch throughout our entire stay. The home itself is spacious and beautifully decorated, providing comfortable accommodations for our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking our meals and we particularly enjoyed grilling burgers one evening and dining under the lanai. For those bringing boats, Tracy's Point boat launch is just a convenient 3 minutes away. We had fantastic fishing, catching plenty of Bream and several Bass. Our two dogs absolutely loved having the yard to explore and joining us on the dock between boat trips. Having grown up visiting Lake Panasoffkee every summer, finding this gem of a property made our trip extra special. The location and amenities made this place hands down the best place we've ever stayed on the lake.We are already planning our return trip (and staying longer next time!) This property offered everything we needed for a perfect vacation!. We will definately be back soon!!

Family Fishing Trip

We had a great time here. Some of us used to fish here as kids, so we brought our parents back and had a great time! The house met all of needs and offered plenty of out door space to run around and fish from with a near by boat ramp. The kayaks and peddle boat was a huge bonus! Great stay!

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. Everything was clean and well maintained. The best part was sitting outside in the morning, drinking coffee, and watching the sun come up over Lake Panasoffkee. We highly recommend this property for your vacation!

It was a wonderful experience on the lake . The house was perfect large enough for all of us. And the fishing was wonderful. We caught more fish right out front on the dock then we did in the boat.

Wonderful 4 bedroom with excellent views

Our purpose in booking this place was to have enough space for several families to get together for the purpose of delivering our Momā€™s ashes to the National Cemetery in Bushnell to be reunited with our father. The house location was perfect bordering lake and canal frontage. The dock for fishing attracted several of our family, but also, the hot tub, pool table and varying outdoor and screened spaces. It truly was perfect for our needs.

Great lakeside property with beautiful views from inside, especially the sunrises, and plenty of outdoor spaces for larger groups to fish, hot-tub, play games, or just relax. Good value for renovated older property with updated appliances and plenty of cookware and dishes. The indoor fireplace was not usable, but the fire pit more than makes up for it, especially at night with clear, dark and starry skies. As a bonus, we saw a large otter swimming to his home on the other side of the canal!

Beautiful Lake views and Cottage

Very clean property on the end a very quiet working neighbor hood. Enjoyed the wildlife swimming, and flying by. It worked great for the 4 of us. Could definitely handled more guest. I would have liked a dishwasher in the smaller kitchen. We didn't come there to cook and pertained local restaurants. I was surprised to not have a full propane tank. It ran out 10 minutes in of a 15 minute grill. Other wise enjoyed our stay.

Annual Reunion

The pictures don't do The Lake House justice. Inside is super charming with cute little lake house decor. But we mostly spent our time outside. My friends were able to bring their pontoon boat and use Katty's dock which was awesome and great to fish off of. The fire pit was put to great use. There are like 4 porches with activities to do as well as a peddle boat and kayak so fun. Katty was amazing and super accommodating from answering our questions before booking all the way to letting us have a later check out. She responded quickly as well. I only had to reach out to her about getting permission to move her outside furniture. My husband and a couple of friends enjoyed the hot tub. Both husbands caught bass and some mudd fish (I think thatā€™s what they called them) we saw an otter, a few alligators and a bunch of entertaining birds, that like to steal your bait. This was one of our best reunions. And just being there surrounded by natureā€¦. Oh and when you read the back story to The Lake House it just really makes you love and appreciate it so much more. I highly recommend this property. Itā€™s great for kids too. So much to do.From all the outdoor activities to playing pool or darts. Again highly recommend I know weā€™ll be back. Thanks Katty!!

Never again

The house was filthy. We ended up wearing socks or shoes because the floor was so dirty. The dishes were grimy. We bought sponges and dish clothes because there were none. When you touch them they were sticky. There were various safety issues. My husband tripped in a doorway because the room he was going into was 4 inches higher but there was no caution. The steps from the house to the pier have no hand rails. Althought we didnt spend any time there because the table and chairs were disgusting. We had 8 people in our group but only to of them had coverlets and there were two more in the closets . The concrete in the parking aea had nail sticking up. Some were thrown in the grass on the side of the area. Not all of the plug-ins worked.

Peaceful Lake Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake property. We knew the lake would not be for swimming, due to gators and water quality, but we enjoyed hanging out by the dock and in the hot tub. We also enjoyed using the paddle boats and kayaks at the property. However, I would suggest providing some adequate shady options for outside. For the spaces that did have covering, it was clear and only to provide shelter from rain. It would enhance the property so much to provide some outside spaces with full shade, especially during the summer months. Additionally, we weren't expecting to have to purchase basic upkeep items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. These types of items have been provided in every rental I've vacationed in, so it was a shock when we did not have anything readily available. Also, while the house itself was beautiful, it did run a little hot, even after running the AC all day. The owners were decent about communication, though, and we'd be happy to rent from them again knowing what to expect now. Overall it was a lovely weekend.

Peaceful

Our family had an amazing time at the lake house. We sat outside from dawn until after dark taking in all the sounds of nature and beauty of the lake. My kids loved fishing off the deck and in the channel where they caught some large mouth bass. The only thing is that we didnā€™t bring our filet gear to have them as dinner so they went back into the lake. We were greated several times by a small alligator who my sonā€™s girlfriend named bacon. There is also a larger alligator who we we would see from time to time which we were told his name is Charlie. The alligators didnā€™t really bother us. The little one was curious when we were fishing but that was it. There were some boaters on the lake fishing and from time to time we would see a speed boat. The lake was very still for the most part which the kids enjoyed taking out the kayaks and paddle boat for a ride. The only thing missing was the ability to swim. Evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and making sā€™mores. The jacuzzi was an added bonus for us old folks who needed some extra relaxation. The 3 screened in porches were put to good use. One off the kitchen was smaller but we spent most of our time there. The other one off the living and master bedroom we enjoyed playing some games on and had a few meals. The largest one was in the front of the house which we enjoyed playing pool, ping pong, darts, chess, and had our big family meal which we prepared steaks on the grill. Inside was very clean and comfortable. The large TV in the living room was an excellent choice for watching movies. The master bedroom was very large and had a very comfortable bed and additional air conditioner which came in handy for a few very hot days. The other bedrooms were perfect for the rest of the family as we had a total of 10 people and everyone had a nice comfortable place to rest. We made lots of homemade meals and the kitchen was set up very efficiently. The house does not have a dishwasher but we didnā€™t mind. The neighborhood itself is nice and quiet. These are not million dollar looking houses but most are kept up pretty well. We felt safe in the neighborhood. You can walk to Family Dollar and Dollar General which made it nice when we needed something. The larger grocery stores are about 15 minutes away. The location itself you canā€™t beat. About an hour from every direction there is something to do. We definitely will consider staying again in the future.

Our family enjoyed the weekend together! Very nice house on the lake. Our host was attentive to our needs and requests. The house has plenty of private spaces and many places to enjoy a meal. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus! The property is close to restaurants, gas stations, and some shopping.

When I saw this house, I fell in love but I knew that I had a big challenge ahead of me since she needed a lot of love & care. Today, I donā€™t regret any of those challenges. The most beautiful & peaceful thing is to hear the wildlife & enjoy those beautiful sunsets & sunrises.

We were looking for the perfect place to retire, close to everything but far enough to enjoy all the sounds of nature and fishing as well.
We saw this property we knew we had a huge challenge ahead of us since the house needed a lot of renovation but we wanted to find a place where we can put our own spices, our own ideas and our own love, we want this place to be perfect , itā€™s so perfect the we exchanged our vows here, our home is very special to us and this is where we are looking forward to spend our lives together.
Now you are part of this special home as well and we hope for you to share beautiful memories for years to come.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

We fell in love with our house for all the views we have, its a 360 degree view all around from the canal side to the front lake, we love our little town, you feel like you are in those hallmark movies, itā€™s 30 minutes from Tampa, 20 minutes to the Villages and make sure to visit Brownwood Paddock Square, 35-45 minutes from Fort Island gulf Beach and Cristal River, 54 minutes from Lake Dora , 55 minutes from Disney, 58 minutes from Orlando, there so many more closer activities the you can do around our area like going fishing, boat rides, kayaks, etc,
You canā€™t leave with out trying our restaurants like Catfish Johnnyā€™s, its just 3 minutes from home and their food is so delicious and then we have Big Bass Grill and they always have something going on from live music, karaoke or just enjoy a nice time with friends and family.
