Summary:
Come relax at this newly renovated, peaceful, and centrally-located home tucked away on 2 acres, sleeping 8 guests.
Located 5 mins. from downtown Dripping Springs, 30 mins to Austin, and less than 1 hour to Fredericksburg.
Perfect getaway to explore local breweries, wineries, legendary BBQ, and all the Hill Country has to offer!
Enjoy the outdoors year round with plunge pool, fire pit, BBQ grill, lighted outdoor dining area under majestic oaks. Welcome to the best of the hill country!

The Space:
Welcoming open floor plan with plenty of room and bar seating or everyone to gather. 1 King bed in Primary Bedroom with large walk in shower. 2 Queens in Guest room and 2 Twin beds in 2nd guest room. Have fun in the Plunge style pool (9ft x 19 ft), enjoy family time with provided games/cards, or a movie on 2 of the big screen TV's. Start a fire under the stars to warm up the night. In the peaceful hill country area, you are more than likely to see wildlife including many deer and humming birds!

Guest Access:
Entire home, pool/ patio areas, and 1.88 Acre lot.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood with at least 1 acre lots (many bigger). Get the quiet and peacefulness of the hill country, yet still have the conviences you need no more than 5 mins away. Starbucks, HEB, gas station, all within very short distance.

Other Things to Note:
We are working on installing a pool heater propane tank but as of Sept 2022, the pool is not heated.

Interaction with Guests:
I live nearby but am not always available as I have 2 small kids. Happy to talk/text most anytime before 9pm on any issues or questions. Enjoy your stay!

Nice Country Stay

Good place to stay, modern with all needed amenities. It’s a ways off the beaten path, but enjoyed the deer that frequented the neighborhood. Traffic in Dripping Springs a bit challenging. Good place for party of 4-5 to stay, comfortable.

Perfect for our needs

Great rental. Beautiful property, amazing beds and a friendly commutative host. Everything we needed. For some reason we thought there was only one bathroom but were pleasantly surprised when there were two. 😁

The Perfect Stay

This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! It’s close proximity to Austin still allows you to do whatever you’d like in the city but the location makes you feel as if your a thousand miles from nowhere. All at the same time! It was immaculent, clean, everything you could need as if you were home. And the pool was perfect! I look forward to staying here again next time I come to the area!

Long weekend in Dripping Springs

We had a wonderful time in Dripping Springs! The property was perfect for our family of four and our dog. Plenty of outdoor space for our kids to explore and all the comforts of home inside. One suggestion, a nightstand on the other side of the king size bed would be helpful. We really appreciated the food/ brewery suggestions and the quick response from Mark when we had any questions. Our kids loved the pool as well as the wildlife. So many deer and we even saw a fox at Jacob’s Well! All in all, a wonderful trip!

Weekend Trip

We enjoyed our stay in dripping Springs. We were out and about a lot so used the accommodations more for sleeping. It was clean and spacious. The pool would have been nice if it was warmer. Our only complaint would be the home smelled like pet urine when we first walked in. Also, there was a lot of pet hair all over the floor. Once I swept it up and lit the candle it was all good. We loved the area and convenient to downtown Dripping Springs.

Time in Austin and Fredericksburg

My husband and another couple flew into Austin for a wedding in Fredericksburg and Dripping Springs was an awesome location to be able to spend time in both locations. This property is on the edge of town and is a wonderful location. The host was quick to respond when I messaged him and I greatly appreciated that. The property is recently updated and very nice! Beds were very comfortable (I have never tried memory foam before and would chose a property with this again). We didn’t have time to try the pool or hangout outside much as we were on the go - would have loved to try the outside - maybe on our next trip as we would stay here again!

Great Place near to everything. Nice home

Mark was great. Very accessible if we needed anything. House was roomy, cozy feel, had all the things a vrbo needs to drop your bag and enjoy your time in Dripping Springs. Right off RM12 almost into Dripping (off 290) Few things needed to be addressed and it was addressed and/or taken care of promptly. Pool in the 100+ heat was awesome. Pool just the right cozy size for our fam ot 4. Lots of sleeping rooms, comfy beds, full washer dryer and new appliances. Streaming TV options, strong stable wifi. Great b/c I needed to work from home. HEB and other stores 10min away. 5min down the road is a gas station with sundries/beer. Wine glasses and cooking tools great for a weekend get away with fam or friends. Great they allowed pets b/c we had to find a short term rental and we had a golden retriever. Tons of deer around the home to watch from inside of home. Car port fits 2 standard cars. Driveway is not concrete and uphill. Nothing a standard height car cannot accommodate. If your car is low you may think about leaving that ride home. We had a suv and trcuk. No problem for us. Walkway from car area to house entrance is a rock with fills of concrete pathway. If you need wheelchair access or need more steady walkway you may want to ask for more outside pix. We rate our stay 8 out of 10. We’d book again. Thanks Mark!

Wonderful Experience

This house was perfect, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The location was great, the house was spotless and adorable, and Mark was a wonderful host. Can’t say enough good things about the trip!

We are the Campbell Family, and live locally in Central Texas. We love to host people are our newest rental property close to home (for once). We enjoy all the Hill Country has to offer such as the lakes, parks, food scene and breweries/wineries. We are busy with 2 small kids but never too busy to help you enjoy youre stay.

We love our location! While being peaceful and quiet to escape the 'city life' you are literally 5 minutes from Downtown Dripping Springs. You are sure to see many deer that live in the neighborhood (be careful and drive slow!) as well as humming birds. The house is on 1.8 acres and is very private with countless oaks and a rolling slope.

Countless Breweries, Wineries, Wedding Venues, Legendary BBQ/Food options and small town experiences await near by.

Even though you can 'escape' and relax, you have everything you want at your fingertips. Starbucks, HEB (grocery store), restaurants and gas stations are all less than 5 mins away. Eat/Shop on Historic Mercer Street, and enjoy all that Drip has to experience.

Central location for day trips or stay local. 20 mins to Wimberly, 30 mins to downtown Austin, 1 hour to Fredericksburg or San Antonio.

We fell in love with this lot (even though the house needed lots of love!) almost 2 acres of 'clean yet rugged' hill country. Gentle slopes lead down to pool area.

House features all the upgrades as only a Fully remodeled modern farmhouse can. Gorgeous Kitchen, Beautiful bathrooms and new counter tops. High end finish outs, Kitchen island seating, Big Screen TV's and so much more.

Enjoy the Plunge Pool, Have a BBQ under the lights on the patio, keep warm by the fire pit, or sit on the back door and forget all your worries!
