Copper was placed in the pool drains to make the water clear and not removed before we got there. First day there and our clothes, skin, nails, and blonde hair were turned green. I notified the host of the property on the day we returned home on 8/10/26 of our issues among other minor issues and they have still not responded as of 8/21/26 with any resolution. We traveled from Tennessee to Texas for a once in a lifetime road trip with our older daughters for a family wedding. The unnecessary stress caused by their green hair is the reason I'm writing this review. Hopefully it will save another family from the same issue since the host (Stay Texas) does not seem to care.

Andrea, your daughters ended a road trip from Tennessee with green hair before a family wedding, and that should never have happened. The copper treatment was still in the water when you arrived, and nobody got back to you for eleven days after you told us. Both of those are on us. We have pulled copper based clarifiers from the pool program at that property altogether, and the water is now tested and logged the morning of every arrival, not just after service. Guest messages about a health or safety issue now go straight to a manager for a same day answer. If you ever bring the family back through the Hill Country, I would like to host you myself and get it right. Every guest who comes back to us gets 10% off the return stay, and that includes you. Sincerely, Morgan, Director of Operations.

The home was gorgeous and very convenient! I would only suggest more exterior lighting, a house number on the property (if there is one, I couldn't find it), and an interior reinforcement lock that bypasses the keypad for when the renter is there for the night. I arrived at dark and stayed the 1st night by myself. I ended up putting chairs behind the doors.

Michael, a family trip to the Hill Country in a house that was ready to go from the moment you walked in, that is exactly what we aim for. Keeping the property in top shape matters to us, and it means a lot to hear it came through that way for your group. Come back when the wildflowers are running, usually late March into April, and the whole property takes on a different character entirely!

Perfect choice

We were attending a wedding in one of the venues. We were 4 adults one teenager and 2 toddlers. The house was perfect. Cozy ,impecable, well equipped with everything we needed. Quite surroundings but walking distance to restaurants and shops. Safe for the kids to run their scooters. Great backyard with pool. We had a great time.

Ana, a wedding weekend with four adults, a teenager, and two toddlers under one roof is no small thing to pull off, and hearing that the house held everyone comfortably means a lot. The pool and backyard are exactly what we had in mind for moments like that, kids burning energy while the adults finally get to breathe. Glad the scooters got some use too. Whenever the next Hill Country occasion comes up for your crew, the house will be ready for you!

contemporary house, comfortable stay

House is very clean and has cute decor. Great linens. Convenient location. Could use dresser in front bedroom, a coat rack or some hooks in entryway, and some more hangers in bedroom closets. Television in front bedroom would be a bonus. Pool smaller than it looks - appropriate for dipping but not swimming. All in all, very comfortable and a great option for staying in Dripping Springs. We'd stay again if we were in the area.

An unexpected highlight!

The Mrs. and I came up from San Antonio to meet our son, daughter-in-law and three grandkids. The house accommodated us comfortably! What was the unexpected highlight??? We've rented homes with swimming pools plenty of times before. And sometimes, we've completed our stay without dipping so much as a toe into the pool. But this one was so inviting and easy to use! And although a simple design, it was a ton of fun with the little ones! The whole experience exceeded our expectations :)

Our stay was wonderful. We really appreciated basic amenities being provided in the showers, more than sufficient amount of towels being provided and standard cleaning supplies being provided in the kitchen. Beds and couches were comfortable and clean and pool towels were available for use. The outdoor space was beautiful and well maintained and the pool was the perfect size for the 4 of us to relax in. I'd recommend having the rugs cleaned, stained towels replaced and getting the lock on the side door assessed as it wouldn't lock from the outside during our stay. Additionally, the pool was treated in the middle of our stay and the chemicals were very strong afterwards. It would have been nice to have that service delayed until we checked out. Overall we loved the house and the location within Dripping Springs.

Perfect location in Dripping Springs Texas.

This location is blocks away from a number of cool boutiques, BBQ, and a locally owned coffee shop. It will comfortably sleep 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 kids (the bunk beds are large enough to sleep 4 kids). I will likely book this same house for our return visit in the near future.
