Amazing Waterfront Home on the Bush River

Beautiful, spacious waterfront home on the Bush river with access to the Chesapeake bay. Bring your boat and use our150 foot pier or just relax and have some drinks or coffee in the tiki hut on the pier. You can also relax on 1,000 SF deck or 1,000 SF covered patio, each with amazing views. The ground level features a comfortable seating area for enjoying movies, we also have a foosball and air hockey table set up. A bar area is great for playing cards or hanging out with friends. There are plenty of spaces in the house to gather or spread out!
Bring your own kayaks, canoes or paddleboards, watch the eagles fly overhead while you enjoy a bonfire and forget about the stress of life. From our home you can walk to a great little beach bar called The Island at Flying Point Marina that has live music several nights a week, or enjoy the Flying Point Park which features playgrounds for kids and a small beach front.

We loved this house! It was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, which we needed for our family cookie weekend. The basement was a great communal space. The view was beautiful, especially given the little bit of snow we got.

Excellent property for a family getaway

We loved this property for our weekend family getaway! The views were amazing, the house was clean and well stocked with essentials and the beds were comfortable. Ted was such a wonderful host and we'd love to come back and stay here again in the future!

My son, his wife & 2 children had a marvelous time on the dock! They experienced crabbing for the first time. Every morning, they walked down to check the crab traps. They were so excited to see the crabs , release them & watch them walk sideways back into the water!We’d Love to return every year and make it a family tradition!

Beautiful home on lake

We live in FL and host a small family gathering for Thanksgiving every year. The house was perfect for us and received tons of compliments for location, size and amenities. Thanks for helping us make some wonderful memories!

Beautiful home on waterfront

We had a wonderful stay at Ted’s property. The basement was cold as they hadn’t figured out to adjust the thermostat yet, so we didn’t spend any time down there. We also encountered challenges with the hot water heater, but overall it was a lovely stay.

Perfect Getaway

The house was beautiful and the host was super easy to work with and very responsive to messages. We all had an amazing time, house had everything including a potty seat for one of our younger guests. Book now folks...several people have asked me for this link

Great Location

We came for a wedding at Havre de Grace and met siblings there. House was perfect, spacious ; wonderful finished basement and outdoor deck to gather. Close to stores and restaurants. Host was readily available to answer questions. Other than the weather; it was perfect!

Family fun water front house

My family and I we're looking for a house to rent for an out-of-town wedding. We came along this gem. There was so much space for everyone to spread out. Our favorite spot was on the balcony looking at the water. I hope to stay again soon.

Edgewood New Year

Great house with plenty of room and a beautiful view. The bottom floor TV/game room was amazing for watching the bowl games and relaxing. Did some kayaking and canoeing and the water was like glass. Nice large kitchen and well stocked. Would love to stay here again in the Summer!

Great Family Retreat & Wedding Weekend

To start, the views out back of the Bush river are breathtaking. Fantastic location and very peaceful. Our family rented this home for a place to all stay together for a wedding weekend in Havre de Grace. We had a great time and wished we had more time to enjoy the property. The owner Ted was accommodating to any requests and very quick to respond. All in all just a 5 star weekend all around. Thank you for sharing your house with us, we could not have asked for a better setting.

Wedding weekend

From the beginning Edward was great with communicating with us when we booked the property back in March. The location couldn't have been any better for our daughters wedding weekend in Havre de Grace. The house was perfect for our group of eleven and we had a enough room to spread out. It had everything that we needed and we were not that far from restaurants in Edgewood or Wegmans in Bel Air. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to book a large family gathering.

Only complaint was the hot water running out as there were 5 adults and 2 kids who showered daily. Other than that the property was better then the photos in a quiet neighborhood.

Everything you need

We were down from NJ to play at the Ripken Experience in Aberdeen. Not only did the dock, bar and game area, and yard keep the kids busy enough that the TV never came on. Add to that the park three houses down and being within 20 minutes of Ripken the other families who stayed in a hotel were jealous of our spot. The consensus was that we wished we had more time to enjoy the home and surrounding area. The house was VERY clean and what you see in the pictures matches the current condition of the house. The owner was very quick to answer any questions we had and we would definitely rent here if we had reason to.

Englisch siehe unten: Das Haus ist sehr groß mit mehr als genügend Sitzgelegenheiten. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist ebenso ein Traum. Ganz toll hat uns die Lage direkt am See gefallen und das Grundstück an sich, genauso wie die schöne und große Terrasse. Ted, der Besitzer antwortet bei Fragen immer sehr schnell und war immer hilfsbereit. Danke dafür. Wir waren eine Familie mit 6 Erwachsenen, das Haus ist aber für 10-12 Personen noch geeignet. Auch optisch war alles top, innen wie außen. Von daher, eine echte Empfehlung. The kitchen is a dream, as is the bar downstairs. We really liked the location right on the lake and the property itself, as well as the beautiful and large terrace. Amazing experience

This couple was amazing we were having a problem booking through ABNB our reservations was canceled because an ABNB error a week before our reservation but this family went out their way to see to it that we were still able to book another way same days no problems im very grateful my family enjoyed our Christmas away from home my in laws enjoyed as well im so grateful to them for going out their way and saving Christmas they didn’t have to do all they did

Ted and Christina purchased the Kennard Ave. home in April of 2021. We did not intend on using it as a host property as our family enjoyed coming down every weekend. We decided to share our property with others due to our children being in sports that don't allow us to get there as often as we would like. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Once you see the view you will not want to leave, the water view is amazing. There is a family of Eagles a few trees away, plenty of other birds to enjoy. The home is beautiful and has many unique details, it is large but feels cozy and is a great place to spend time with family. One of our favorite spots within walking distance is The Island at Flying Point Marina, a great little bar and restaurant that serves great Orange Crushes and features a small sandy beach, marina, palm trees, live music, and a great family atmosphere. They also have live music several nights a week!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Water front, 150' pier. Bring your own boat, canoes, kayaks and/ or paddleboards and use the Bush River and even boat to anywhere on the Chesapeake bay from our home. There is a public boat launch about a 1/4 mile away at the Flying Point Park and once launched the boat can be kept on our pier for the duration of your stay. The Flying Point Park also a great place to walk, play on the beach, play volleyball, or let kids run on the playgrounds. There are also pavilions available for rent.

The property is about 35 minutes away from Havre De Grace, and destinations like the Cal Ripken Experience baseball facility. Some guests have chosen to stay at our house with other team players and families rather than staying in hotels while their teams participate in Cal Ripken Baseball tournaments! Be sure to check out Bush RIver Boat Rentals, they have speed boats and a pontoon boat you can rent hourly or daily and can even dock it on our pier.
