Settled on 100 feet of pristine Pine River Pond shoreline in a secluded cove, this retreat is perfect for canoeing, fishing, hiking, water skiing, swimming, grilling, and chilling! Highlights also include high-speed WiFi for all of your streaming needs, central heating, and a private firepit for watching the stars come out. The full kitchen inside is sure to impress the cooks of the group. Lake and surrounding areas was beautiful!! space is lovely. Supplies perfect could use extra warm bedding. Now the cold weather is fine. The heater in me living space is quite loud. Otherwise have a lovely time have myself two nieces thank you!

Location was great. Little beach area in front and toys, tubes all in the shed.Large for big family to stay. The upstairs porch faces the water and has tables and room for all.Could use new towels. But if that the only thing wrong life is good.

Super clean updated rustic house. Spacious living area away from bedrooms. Large kitchen with everything you could need. Bed linens were lovely on comfy beds. Loved the deck of living space & outdoor the fire pit with plenty of new chairs. The lake water is pristine and was the perfect temperature! Sandy area for easy entry. Lots of boat traffic but the house beach is in a cove that is protected. Would have liked it if there were canoe/kayak available, but otherwise everything you need is on site. Would 100% stay here again!

Fantastic spot!

Definitely recommend this place for family and friends! Such a great place with pond access. Lots of communal areas to hang — and the kids loved it. We will be back!

Secluded home surrounded by trees and on the water

Very well maintained home, perfect for a family getaway stay. Enjoyed the secluded wooded area, steps from the private beach. Has all of the amenities you could want and well taken care of.

Perfect lake swimming

My family and I very much enjoyed this quiet, shaded house overlooking the lake. It was the perfect place to swim, with a lovely little beach. The house itself was tastefully appointed -not too cluttered or sparse. Thank you!

Indeed stunning

Great property, amazing location. Perfect and very safe for family with little kids. The lake beach is few steps from the house. It’s very nice and clean. Perfect for fishing, swimming , kayaking and puddle boarding. Be sure to bring kayaks and puddle boards with you.

Excellent lake property

This home is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of wood for the fire pit, and streaming TV for rainy days (which we had). The small sandy beach and dock were perfect for our toddler to wade and jump. The neighborhood was quiet, and not too much boat traffic or noise on the lake. Overall a lovely place I would definitely visit again.

Comfortably homey.

We enjoyed our one-week stay at this lovely home. The online pictures were a good representation of the actual home. It was spacious and well equipped. The sandy beach front was perfect for all. The deck was a special feature outfitted with 2 tables, umbrellas and comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the view day and night. We ended each night with s’mores making by the fire pit. Will book again.

A spacious well-equipped house

A spacious well-equipped house, beautifully located with good access to the lake and dock. The heater in the basement was not working but everything else was in good condition. The family had a pleasant stay in the house.

Great house and location

Great house at the end of a short dirt rd, with zero traffic! We enjoyed everything about it, from the lg living rm/ kitchen to the bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. But most of our time was spent on the deck, by the firepit, or on the sandy beach and dock. We'll be back...and next time we'll bring kayaks and friends!! :) Thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage.

Fairly disappointed in the condition of the property. There was black mold on the ceiling in the down stairs bathroom, coffee grinds had been left in the coffee pot, trash had not been emptied in the kitchen, ceiling fans had so much dust on them we did not dare turn them on, none of the TV's worked. Location on the lake was nice.

Pine River Pond

Very nice week. Ground floor layout was very good. Master bedroom was very noisy. There is a plumbing problem in the bottom floor bathroom. Lower bedroom floor needed to be cleaned. Outside decks needed a lot of attention before they could be used. Firepit was excellent. Gas grill needs to be replaced and also ran out of fuel. Great beech and dock. Overall we had a great visit.

Beautiful Lake House

We had a great stay at the lake house. Pine River Pond was crystal clear for swimming and much larger than anticipated. The house was spacious and the kitchen was a dream, well stocked with everything we needed and more. We were disappointed upon checkin when we couldn’t locate the 2 kayaks listed in the amenities and informed the next morning the kayaks were no longer part of the rental, a bummer especially after confirming earlier in the month the kayak/canoe clarification. Other than the kayaks, everything else was exactly as stated. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks for a great start of the summer!

Disappointed

Black mold in the downstairs bathroom ceiling, ceiling fans so full of dust we didn’t dare turn them on, TV was not operable no service, coffee grinds left in coffee pot, trash was not removed from previous occupant. All reported on Thursday evening with no resolution to any issue by Sunday when we left. Great location the rest of the home was clean, beautiful view of the water.

Beautiful lake front cottage

The location was perfect! Secluded and beautiful surroundings. The lake house was beautiful, but i wish it was a bit more homely. Maybe provide some coffee and tea varieties with creamer and sugar/sweet-n-low. Little touches to make it feel more like home would have made this a 5-star review. I was disappointed that the King size bed was horribly uncomfortable to the point I couldn't sleep in it. I was satisfied with the cleanliness. There definitely was not black mold like one review said. A water mark on the ceiling that the owners may want to look at, but not black mold. The ceiling fans were a little dusty, but not too bad. We didn't use them anyway. There is no AC, which was okay for me in October, but Summer would be rough. The TV didn't work, which isn't a huge deal, but hopefully they get that fixed for the next guest. Overall a really great find. The firepit was great and the view of the lake was wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great Little Corner Spot on Clean Clear Pond

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and kitchen is fully equipped w/everything you'd need to cook - even an air fryer! NO a/c but fans in every room which kept us cool at night. Deck overlooking pond is a fabulous place to enjoy meals. Kids loved swimming and fishing in very clean pond. Fire pit area has plenty of firewood. Serene spot! A few negatives -- ONLY related to the property management company Vacasa. 1. The propane tank for the gas grill was empty. Contacted Vacasa but they did not offer to send a refill. We had to spend $70 to get a new one at the local store, which we left for the next guests. Property management company never offered a credit despite us letting them know. 2. Vacasa also contacted me 30 minutes before check-in to tell me it would be another 2-2.5 hours before we could get in due to "late cleaning". Told them I had a vehicle full of perishables I just picked up at the market, yet they would not allow me to go in to put the frozen items in the freezer. In fact, and they stopped communicating with me altogether when sending follow-up texts. Also did not let us know when the property was ready. We arrived at the 2.5 hour mark and let ourselves in and saw that the cleaning company was gone by then. A call would have been appreciated, knowing we had items that needed refrigerating in a 90 degree humid day. But don't let the property management company sway you from renting. We will be back, as the house is fabulous!!
