Everything about this condo is ideal: plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, a short walk down to the beach, and of course the incredible and constantly changing view. We would love to visit again!

Comfortable condo with excellent ocean views

We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this property overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The condo is very comfortable and the views are spectacular. Some aspects of the property are a bit dated (e.g. the shower) but I think this is reflected in the reasonable price. It is also worth noting that it is a fairly long walk down stairs to access the beach. On the other hand, the condo felt very spacious which isn't necessarily reflected in the property photos.

Perfect getaway! Perfect view!

This 2-bedroom and 2 bathroom (each full baths) condo faces the ocean and is on the third level (which provides the best views of the ocean and beach below). It has two sets of sliding glass doors that open up the view of the ocean and bring the wonderful ocean breezes and sounds of the waves into both the main living area and the master bedroom. The decor is very attractive and the furniture (including the bed in the master bedroom) was very comfortable. We did not use the second bedroom. There was plenty of closet space and drawers to put away our things, which we appreciated. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and there was a gas grill as well, which we used regularly. We especially loved walking the beach first thing in the morning and relaxing on the balcony overlooking the ocean. There is much to see and do in the area, including some great restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this unit and have made reservations already for this unit for next summer! Note that this would not be a good choice for those who have difficulty with stairs--there are stairs to get to the unit and there are stairs that give access to the beach. Everything was perfect.

Can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo is very nicely equipped and the photos are accurate. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. We stayed with our toddler and baby and they loved it. The neighborhood is lovely and very walkable. There are several beaches within walking distance we loved. We enjoyed legoland and the zoo on our trip, but honestly, our kids just wanted to hang out at the beach and at the condo! We are already talking about when we can go back.

Wonderful condo.

One of the premier units at the tennis and beach resort. Pool, spas, tennis courts, grounds are all well maintained. Ocean views are magnificent. I would love to stay there again the next time I visit the area.

Relaxation and beauty

This place is amazing! Beds were very comfortable and sleeping with the doorway cracked at night to hear the waves, best way to fall asleep! Fully stocked for all our needs. Location was fabulous. Having access to the pool and hot tub worked well for our teenagers. The tennis courts were a bit as well! Jeanne was very helpful with any question we had and always responded quickly. Would definitely rent again!

Great home in a great location

A lovely unit with beautiful ocean view in a nice *walkable* neighborhood! (You'll have to drive for groceries but there's plenty of restaurants, a drugstore, etc. to stroll to.) The living room and dining area was easily spacious enough for us to have a couple of local friends visit us at the unit for dinner so we could share the incredible sunset with them. It was a little hard to tell from the pictures and descriptions, but there's two bedrooms: one quite large with a king bed, and the other smaller with a full bed and two twins. Also if we'd have been more familiar with this part of coastal north San Diego, we'd have known that the oceanfront is lined by cliffs, so it's not a direct stroll from the unit to the waves. There's a tall set of stairs, located just one minute's walk from the front door and they will take you directly down to the shore, right next to a lifeguard station. Comfortable furniture, plenty of whatever you'd want in the kitchen, and I was surprised by how glad I found myself to have a lot of options for adjusting the lighting over the course of the day. (i.e. many independent sections with dimmers, etc.) Overall, we were very satisfied.

Beautiful property overlooking the ocean

Beautiful 5 star property! Loved watching the sunsets and listening to the ocean waves at night. Communication and check in was a breeze! I would definitely rent this condo again.

Wonderful trip

We loved our week long stay here. The house had a beautiful view of the ocean where we could watch dolphins, surfers and birds every day. Despite the cooler temps, our kids loved being able to walk to the beach every day. We were even just an hour drive to Disneyland for a day trip. The condo was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need (except food), and everything worked great! The bedroom with 2 beds even had an extra pull our bed so our 3 kids all had their own bed. Thank you for a great vacation! We would highly recommend this condo!

Fantastic!!!

We loved this place! The condo is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, we spent lots of time there watching dolphins, surfers and flying pelicans. Also lots of restaurants and cafes close by, and a nice heated outdoor swimming pool is right around the corner. Highly recommend, thanks so much for being such a great host Jeanne!

Best view ever

Starting and ending your day on that patio is like heaven. The location is great-can walk to tons of places. The condo itself is close to the pool and steps to the beach. It had everything we needed. Would 100% rent this place again.

Beautiful!

We absolutely loved it here. Condo was well maintained and clean. Kitchen well stocked and served our family needs. The ocean view was breathtaking and we enjoyed the nightly sunsets. The community has full services, good restaurants, yet is very peaceful. Owner very responsive. I highly recommend!

Fantastic beach condo

We loved this condo! It was very clean, well located in Solana Beach and well equipped with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. The highlight of the place is the outstanding view. Perfect spot to watch the waves, see the beach and experience the gorgeous sunsets. Loved the pelicans flying over and all the small aircraft passing by. Communication with owner was quick and efficient. All questions answered promptly. We had a fantastic visit and would love to stay again.

Heaven at the beach!

Extremely nice condo, views to the horizon. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean. The beach is wide and not crowded. Solana beach is so cute, with easy access to Del Mar and La Jolla. I can’t think of a negative. Great week.

Great condo in gorgeous and quiet location

Loved, loved, loved our stay! The condo is spacious and has everything for family. The master-bedroom windows and the family room both face the ocean. You wake up - and it's the first thing you see. You can watch sunsets from the balcony or make a short trip downstairs to the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet, the property is gated. Short drive to La Jolla and a walk to Salano Beach "downtown" which is a neat area. Whole Foods is close, as are several good restaurants and coffee shops.

Beautiful comfortable condo

We loved this condo. It was so beautiful with an amazing ocean view. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the back deck while watching the surfers and dolphins swim by. The inside had a very comfortable living space and plenty of seating for dinner. The stained glass window in the vaulted ceiling’s in both the living room and master bedroom were so beautiful. The beach was just steps away down a staircase. The condo had beach chairs and towels for us to use. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Beachfront Paradise

This is such a beautiful setting and elegantly appointed well-organized condo with a kind receptive host, Jeanne. The particular beach that you have access to is one of the best in San Diego for walking and swimming. We live in the area but it was such a treat to have in this lovely getaway.

Beautiful Ocean/Beach Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Solana Beach. Jeanne’s condo is steps (and a few stairs) from the ocean and has a wonderful ocean view. The condo was very clean which is always very important to us. Jeanne was very responsive to any questions we had. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Second Stay!!!

I am so happy to have come back to Jeanne’s amazing property a second time, the first time being three years ago. Once again, it didn’t disappoint. Breathtaking views (& sound of the waves & the light ocean breeze) from the living area and master bedroom. The condo is clean and well appointed with a great kitchen ready to go, two bathrooms for easy getting ready and clean offs. Very comfy master bed. Nicely decorated with plenty of comforts like home. I know when picking a place to stay it can be difficult to narrow down, if you love the beach and so many other reasons, this is your place. You will dream of the sights and sounds for weeks! I love Solana Beach and I am not even unpacked but am hopeful for a third trip!
