Beautiful home, great place to stay if you plan on hitting palisades, not far from food or the resort. Host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. 10/10 stay.

A Lake Tahoe Thanksgiving

The property was outstanding in every way and made our first trip to Lake Tahoe even more memorable. Kudos to all involved with this home.

5

Ended up being 5 bedrooms instead of 4 which was a nice surprise. The house was big and felt like there was a lot of privacy for all the guests. The kitchen was well stocked (3 different coffee making options!) We really enjoyed the layout of the house, the beautiful views, and very happy with everything overall. Would stay here again with the family :)

Last minute booking & it worked out!

We decided to head to Tahoe last minute during spring break and needed a pet-friendly place with a lake view for our parents (because they sit in the cabin while we ski). This house worked out well with plenty of room for everyone. Nice location- we went to Gar-wood’s twice!

The house must have been beautiful back in it’s day. But now there are many things broken, barstool, pool table, missing darts, broken door trim, a random mattress in the game room, dog poop allover the backyard, garbage bin was full before we got there therefore no room for our trash. Shower drains were plugged up. My family made the best out of it but it wasn’t worth the overall cost of the rental.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry the home didn’t meet your expectations — the condition and cleanliness issues you described are unacceptable. We take these concerns seriously and will have maintenance and housekeeping address the broken barstool, pool table, door trim, missing darts, plugged shower drains, the extra mattress in the game room, backyard cleanup, and the trash-bin situation right away. We appreciate you letting us know and hope to have the opportunity to provide a much better experience in the future.

Nice home, very comfortable and well stocked

My family and a friends family stayed here mid July (9 total) and we really enjoyed the home. The house is designed and decorated great, the beds were comfortable, and kitchen was stocked nicely. The outside deck and exterior of the house seemed a bit rough, it could use some TLC. The hot tub was great, pool table really fun, and overall this house worked well for our mix of adults and kids. It's a three story house, so there are a lot of stairs, Just FYI. The only disappointment was that there is construction right next-door, and the workers started working around 6:30 AM every morning. They tried to be quiet but it still would wake us up every day and that was not ideal on vacation. Just something to keep in mind when you rent this place. The agency was very helpful, our trash bin was full when we arrived, and so they emptied it for us at our request. Overall, we were happy, just disappointed about the construction, as we don't think it was addressed very clearly (although we learned it was included in the disclosures of our rental agreement, but we did not notice).
