Enjoyable stay

Very nice home. Clean, roomy and with a lot of amenities. Great location. Easy access to Downtown, beach, groceries, etc. and short drive to Warren Dunes and neighboring communities along the Lake.

Great family getaway

This house was exactly what we'd hope it would be! Extremely clean and well maintained. It was perfect for a family weekend away. The screened in porch is so awesome and we spent lots of time out there. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms - would love to stay here again!

Darling Home

Clean, comfortable and close to New Buffalo beach and town. Our 3 teenage girls enjoyed the loft with 3 beds, sofa, TV, and their own bathroom. A darling place!

Annual Girls Trip

The home was fantastic. Well cared for and definitely a place I’d stay at again! It did not disappoint! Easy access to downtown where’s there was plenty to see and do and wonderful places to eat at. Perfect vacation for my my daughters and I.

Lovely!!

The place was amazing. Very cute and smelled so clean, and was. The cottage was such a short drive from downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing place to come back to afyer a hard day of playing.

Great cottage in New Buffalo, MI!

Great vacation cottage for my family of 5. Very clean and spacious. Great location - close to New Buffalo restaurants, shopping and the beach. The cottage has all the amenities. My kids enjoyed the upstairs play room and all the board games. My favorite was the enclosed porch. My only recommendation would be for new beds. The queen bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable.

Late Summer

We really enjoyed our 4 nights at this cottage! Super close to town and a cute neighborhood with other nice homes immediately surrounding. Recommend fewer check-out "pre-clean" requirements (stripping beds, loading the wash, etc.). Also, there are a LOT of toys and board games here so with 3 kids 8 and under, there was a lot of pickup and organizing of all of these new-to-them toys throughout the days and evenings. Overall, great place and very clean!

Bethany, I just wanted to say thank you for the 5 star review. I am so glad you and your family had such a great stay with us. Just so you know we do ask guests to take out their trash and to strip beds, and to put away any kid games used as a way to help with the cleaning process, which allows guest to stay until 10 am on check out day vs 9 am like most other rentals in the area. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous home in Sayulita. And it is a "HOME", so thoughtfully decorated and cared for, we truly felt relaxed and comfortable during our stay. Each room having AC, as well as it's own toilet and shower provided ultimate comfort, privacy and efficiency for the whole family. Karen's instructions were incredibly thorough and set us up for a worry free visit. The pool was a definite highlight of the home and our whole family enjoyed this feature greatly. We opted to rent a golf cart for transportation and went into town and back several times a day. We found it to be a great location for feeling close to the action while still be able to disconnect in peace when we needed a break from the excitement of the town and beach. I'd highly recommend renting this home.

Loved the house layout-nice having separate area for kids as well as two choices for outdoor relaxin

Layout and location of house was great-very convenient to beach,businesses and highway. House was great with major exception of queen bed in downstairs smaller bedroom-needs replacing-impossible for two adults to sleep in wo rolling to the middle-mattress was lumpy and bed sounded like supports were breaking. Sofa throws needed laundering as had dog hair on them (pet free?) loved the screened in porch and open deck, as well as landscaping. Games and kid friendly movies were a plus! Felt very private.thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Time - Beachdays!

There was 6 of us. My husband and myself, my two adults sons in their 20's and their girlfriends. We had such a wonderful time. We just love New Buffalo, the beach the town. We are definitely planning on booking for a full week next summer. Beautiful house. ** One thing I did want to mention the bath/shower in the master bedroom was not draining well. Loved this house! It was perfect for us ladies from Jackson area.

Loved this house! It was perfect for us ladies from the Jackson area. TV and WiFi didn’t work for us. The mgr tried to work with us but we were too busy shopping, drinking, gambling and playing cards to watch TV anyway. A few more towels might be nice. And the master bedroom shower did not drain well. Also, we saw the heaters but a fan would be nice. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Lovely!!

Property is absolutely beautiful

We hurried in to watch the Breeders Cup (a once in a year horse race) and the TV was not able to be turned on. We think it was the cable. We called the rental agency, we called the cable company and WE ENDED UP WITH NO TV FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP. We feel someone should have come over and fixed the situation. It put a damper on the whole trip and we were not happy the situation.

First of all I would like to say I am very sorry that the TV was not working on the main floor of the home during your stay. If you may recall we did speak with you on several occasions, and the owners of the home called you. Unfortunately that cable box went out on the main floor and the provider was not able to make it out for 48 hours and by that point you were leaving. Hopefully you watched TV on the TV upstairs that was working perfectly fine. Please be advised that when renting a second home you may run into the same issues that you do at your own personal property. Once again sorry for any inconvenience.

Tall grass cottage

We stayed at tallgrass cottage last year. And well the accommodation suit us very well, very clean well-appointed, there are still no dressers to put clothes in. I had mentioned it in my review last year so basically you're living at a suitcase for a week. That's really my only issue because it is very well located to beaches shops and other attractions.

Great Beachy getaway

Clean, comfortable, plenty of space inside/out. Nice deck & screened in porch. Excellent assortment of spices for cooking & chairs/umbrella for beach. Beds were not comfortable so that would prevent us from re-booking. Otherwise, geat experience.

Great Family Vacation

Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice house, slightly secluded/quiet neighborhood but still just a short 4 minute drive to the beach and downtown (It is walkable to DT, however half a mile of the walk doesn’t have sidewalk so might be dangerous at night) The property worked great for my family with 2 kids under 3. The property overall was clean however it is probably due for a deeper clean, fixtures and fans had a lot of dust and found some old garbage (wrappers, retainer case) nothing terrible just felt it could get a bit of a overall clean beyond visible areas. However I would not let this be a negative, overall the pictures don’t do this place justice, outside deck was fantastic to hang in the late afternoon, with a fire pit for the evenings, and the screened in porch was a great place for cards and board games at night. I’d for sure stay here again.
