Just minutes from downtown Rockland, this scenic retreat boasts an 80's ambiance with vintage furniture styling, while offering all the contemporary comforts of home. A full kitchen has everything you need to cook some of Maineā€™s famous seafood. Both the eat-in kitchen and formal dining area provide ample seating while offering picture-perfect views of Penobscot Bay. After the dayā€™s activities, unwind with family and friends in the living room, where a gas fireplace adds a warm glow to chilly weather. Additional perks include free WiFi, cable TV, a private washer/dryer, and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.

All guests shall abide by Vacasaā€™s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

House was warm, cozi and perfect for our family. Love that it had twin beds in one room - so much better for teens than a single double/queen bed. Was perfect place to hunker down in the snow. We were visiting friends, but it was lovely and my mom enjoyed the view and fireplace while recovering from catching something over the holidays. Definately will visit again when in the area.

Of course the most outstanding thing about this property was the view. There was nothing more restful than sitting in a recliner with the fireplace going and looking out at the bay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view!!! Very clean-met all our needs! Very comfortable beds! Only wish there was a deck off the main level to sit outside in the morning and evening as the sun came up and went down but other than that, loved it!!

Great location so close to Rockland. Lovely views of the boats in the bay. House very well equipped and clean. Itā€™s all on one floor - convenient for seniors and hard to find. The only real drawback was lack of porch, deck and access to outside space. We would return again.

The property was just as described in the listing and accompanying photos, which is not always the case in our experience. The location is very close to all the restaurants and other must-sees in the Rockland area, and the view of the bay and harbor from inside the house is extraordinary. The Holiday Meal

My in-laws lives nearby in Spruce Head. For the last few years they are unable to make the 5 hr drive to visit us. This house has been perfect the last 2 years to house our family of five and host a holiday meal for them to come over and share. The house not only has a gorgeous view but is in a great location for our needs. I hope to be able to continue this new tradition ā¤ļø

Coastal trip

Very nice place with a million dollar view out the living room window. It was very clean and a nice neighborhood. Right on the water. Two couples and was comfortable for us. I would definitely stay there again.

The house was exactly as advertised. Itā€™s very well maintained and very well appointed. But, the best part is the view. Also, very close to Rockland center and all the activities there. We were very happy with our stay.

Waterfront view

Tidewater is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood and we spent alot of time using the telescope and gazing at the harbor boats. It has everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, cooking and being together. Also appreciated the slight ramp and wall handle in one of the bathrooms which would be helpful to someone with mobility issues. The floor was immaculate and my grandson had a ball playing on it with his toys.
