Twin Pines at the Lake - This vacation getaway offers fishing, swimming, paddle sports, boating, and breathtaking lake scenery!!! TWIN PINES at the LAKE has it all. It is a unique vacation choice with two units in the same cottage - each unit has a full kitchen. Big Pines is on the left w/ a king bedroom and a queen bedroom. Little Pines is on the right with a queen bedroom and two twin Murphy beds in the living area. Twin Pines sleeps 8 - ideal for friends or a family seeking a waterfront getaway.

This charming cottage is part of Hyde Bay Colony - a lakefront group of cottages on the northeast shore of beautiful Otsego Lake, (known locally as Glimmerglass). Twin Pines has a spacious open rear deck, complete with outside dining and a gas grill. The rear deck is a private area overlooking a large backyard.

Leave the hectic pace behind as you relax here! Swim in the crystal clear waters of Otsego, build sand castles on the beach, and swap stories around a campfire. Enjoy awesome sunsets over the lake. The fishing is phenomenal! Two fishing poles are included. You are welcome to bring your own boat - a boat slip is included that will accommodate up to a 21 ft. boat. The extensive dock and all lakefront facilities are shared by the cottages in Hyde Bay Colony.

The historic village of Cooperstown, home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, is just seven miles from Hyde Bay - a scenic drive along the lake. Cooperstown offers a lot to do and see - including local craft breweries and museums. Plan your next getaway to our picturesque part of New York State. Hit your reset button here! This family-friendly retreat is under 20 minutes to the Dreams Park.

Wonderful Property

Twin Pines was a great property, very clean, had everything we needed and was a great location about 20 minutes from Dreams Park and only 12 minutes from town. Many times when we rent a place we have to buy or bring things like paper towels or detergent, but we didn’t have to here, they had everything, even spices for cooking! The owner was great to communicate with as well. Definitely recommend for your Cooperstown visit.

Amazing!!

This stay was one we will never forget! The kayaks might’ve been the biggest hit with the kids but the view from the dock stole my heart. Beds are super comfy and the cabin was decorated so cute. Everything you need is at the cabin basically. We will be recommending to all our future Cooperstown bound friends!

Great Place

This was a fantastic place. It's off the beating path, nestled in the trees very close to the lake. Very peaceful and serene. It was a little further from dreams park than we anticipated, but well worth it. This is by far the most stocked VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The owners were great! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great little spot for families in town for baseball tournament!

We rented both sides of the cabin for our family of 8. It was a great spot for downtime during our son’s baseball tournament. Having the lake and beach to play on was perfect! Thank you!!

Great week at Cooperstown!

We had a fantastic time at the cottage. The cottage itself was clean and orderly. Check-in was smooth and the owner made the whole process easy. We spent some time down on the water fishing and swimming and one day went over to the beach at Glimmerglass State Park which was less than a 5 minute drive from the cabin. It was a great place to stay while our son played at the Cooperstown Dreams Park!

Great cabin on the lake!!

Twin Pines was the perfect cabin for our family while visiting Cooperstown! The grandparents and great Aunt took Little Pines and my wife and kids took Big Pines. There was ample space, a great kitchen to cook in, laundry, a beautiful back porch and it's right above Lake Otsego with direct access to the water. Everything we dreamed of in our Cooperstown vacation.
