Hill Haven Center Hill lake near Sligo Marina

"Hilltop Haven" was built in 2008 and is a premier lakehouse destination on Tennessee’s Center Hill Lake in Smithville. Located only fifteen minutes away from Sligo Marina, 75 minutes from downtown Nashville and an hour from the airport. At over 4,000 square feet, the spacious five bedroom, three full bath, two-story lakehouse is a quiet and secluded retreat located on a dead end cul-de-sac. Only two houses are on the street. It is the perfect destination for a family vacation, reunion or getaway with friends.

Recently decorated with comfortable, plush furniture, Hilltop Haven invites an afternoon on the deck with a 180-degree view of the lake or a lively day of jet skis and pontoon boat rides (available for rental at Sligo Marina). There is no better getaway for watching the famous autumnal Tennessee leaves change while relaxing in the hammock, sitting in the adirondack chairs around the firepit, or grilling out on the two story deck overlooking Center Hill Lake. Hilltop Haven has something for everyone. The surrounding view of trees and lake with the sounds of countless Tennessee birds can become the soundtrack to your most relaxing vacation yet. The front yard and surrounding area have seen kite-flying, frisbee games, and many short hikes for all levels of experience. There are two bikes available to explore.

At the heart of the house is a culinary foodies dream kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, including a Keurig and Vitamix. Seating for fourteen in the dining room and breakfast room. A large gas grill is located on the top deck, with sweeping views of Center Hill Lake, with seating for six at the table on the upper deck. The house sleeps eighteen including two bunk beds, a fold out sofa, located in the fifth bedroom/playroom and two Queen inflatable air mattresses. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the main floor and two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the first floor. Flatscreens and Apple TVs (use your own login for netflix, hulu and amazon) are in the living room, den, playroom and master bedroom. We do not have cable TV. SONOS sound system keeps music streaming throughout the home, and wireless internet keeps you connected in every room. Wood burning fireplaces (wood provided) are located in the living room and master bedroom. Oversized washer and dryer and an ice maker are in the laundry room. Beach towels and a cooler are provided for your day on the lake. Two extra fridges are in the garage to store your drinks and food.

Just a short drive away through some of Tennessee’s most beautiful countryside is the famed and award-winning Foglight restaurant located on the Caney Fork River.
