THE ATLANTIC HOUSE
Welcome to this inviting retreat to relax, be by the sea, and reconnect. The Atlantic House makes it easy to feel at home and feel you are on a holiday get-away at the same time.
Fresh duvet covers, linens, towels, shampoo, shower gels, and essential paper products are provided to give you more time to explore the surroundings.
We supply 2 beach tags for Cape May beaches you supply the flip flops.
The outdoor shower is delightful after your day in the sun.
The Space:
The Atlantic House mixes a modern vibe with a beach flair. Inside and outside focuses on relaxation. The spacious outdoor shower has a spa feel as well as hot water! Sunsets seem made to order in this part of the world, a short walk to the bay at evening is magical. The surrounding neighborhood is charming, quiet, and beachy. A scenic 10-15 minute drive brings you to the pristine Cape May Beaches where there is ample street parking. During the evening or on days where the weather is cool enjoy eating and shopping at the wonderful outdoor Cape May Washington Street Mall, in the downtown section. Our area has fantastic amenities including 4 star restaurants but feel free to kick back and enjoy the Weber gas grill and outdoor dining set up in the yard.

We had a great stay at the Atlantic house forcour girls dance competition in Wildwood. The house was clean and comfortable. It was close to stores and local restaurants. Most things within five to fifteen minutes. Great place.

The house isn't very big but is still very spacious. The kitchen is clean and has new appliances and was easy to get used to. The central air works great and the hot water heats up quickly and doesn't run out after 3 people's worth of showers. The oitdoor space is phenomenal. The owners were quick to respond to our questions.

Nicer neighborhood than expected

We loved the property and the neighborhood filled with well-kept bungalows. House was in a great location close to the ferry and many good restaurants. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Cute little bungalow

We loved staying in this cute little bungalow. Everything was clean, linens were provided, decor is perfect! It was nice to have a single family property close to a lot of things! Only thing that could make it any better is laundry on site! Or weather wasn't very good, but had it been better, it works have been lovely to enjoy the outdoor portion of the property! Would stay again!

Relaxing beach house

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights while we visited Cape May. last summer we got a hotel, and this was a far more enjoyable experience. the neighborhood is so quiet and there is so much do to that is walkable, and everything else is just a short 10-15 minute drive. David checked in and made sure we got in okay, was prompt to respond and checked in again upon check out to make sure everything went well. We would absolutely stay again!!

Lovely Atlantic House

I was going to stay with my family while I participated in the Escape the Cape Triathlon, but it ended up as just me. Lovely, well appointed cottage. Very quiet neighborhood a out 10 min drive / 25 min cycle from Cape May Ferry terminal. House was cute and cozy. Just the thing after all that hard work. Would stay again!

Beautiful property

Property was CLEAN!!!! Pictures were as shown. Close to Ocean; short walk to Bay. Nice yard plenty of room and options to enjoy space. Only draw back and lack of perfect score was lack of sturdy furniture and dressers. We only stayed 3 nights so it was tolerable.

Great place!

Everything at the Atlantic house was perfect. The communication with David and Donna was easy and clear. The beach at the end of the street was not crowded and the sunset were incredible. The beach passes were a real bonus. Our kids particularly enjoyed the single beds, instead of having to share a double. ;-)

Perfect and so cozy

We stayed here for a cheer competition in Wildwood. It was absolutely perfect. We loved everything about the house. It was perfect for my husband, myself and my 14 year old daughter. So cozy. We were sad to leave!! Thank you David and Donna!! You made our trip! It was the perfect quiet hideaway from the chaos of a cheer competition!!

A relaxing and refreshing stay

The Atlantic House was the perfect spot for my wife and I to spend our recent/yearly Jersey Shore vacation. Our favorite thing to do is relax at the various beaches and this property was great for our "base of operations". The bay beach is a few blocks down the road, and the ocean-facing beaches we like to visit are all within an easy 30-minutes or less drive, such as Avalon, Stone Harbor, and the WIldwoods. This location in Villas is very quiet with lots of local eateries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and ice cream!). The house was very clean, bright and airy, a big flat side yard, and a fenced in back yard with a grill if you want to cook at home. Great and timely correspondence with the host. Highly recommended!!

Nice Stay!

We enjoyed the cute beach cottage. It was very tastefully decorated and pretty well appointed. We loved the kitchen and shower, especially. Checking in was a breeze. The mosquitoes were really bad, so I would advise bringing bug spray. We weren't able to spend anytime outside the cottage...grilling, relaxing, etc., because we were getting bitten so badly. Also, the bay beach was lined with dead horseshoe crabs, which were stinky and the water didn’t seem suitable for swimming in. We just drove to Cape May, which we absolutely loved. It was about a 15 minute drive. We especially loved Cove Beach. We enjoyed dinner out at Fins restaurant and loved shopping at Washington Mall. Madison's Bakery had wonderful sweet treats for breakfast! Overall, we had a very nice stay! Thank you for hosting us!

Hi Jayna, Thanks for your review! Being so close to the water and wind direction, there can be mosquitos as is the case with all properties in the county . Yes the bay and sunsets are beautiful and the nature of the tides can reveal aqualculture in all of its forms. Please note our front screened porch is a delightful room to bring you close to nature as well. Yes the free beach passes to the Cape May beaches are also wonderful perk at the Atlantic House. Thanks again for staying!

Labor Day Weekend

Tremendous value!!! Our family of three stayed over 2023 Labor Day weekend but did not get around to write a review at the time. Beautifully renovated and abundantly equipped with a lot of thoughtful touches. Ideal for a 2+2 family (we had one bed to spare). Close to Bayshore drive but set back enough to not be bothered by the traffic. Less than 3 short blocks to the beach (entrance at the end of the street). Very grateful for the passes to Cape May beah because the bay was full of black mud (probably from the torrential rains up the river earlier in the year) and not really usable. Nice yard with solid wooden fence providing great separation from the adjacent properties (particularly important because the lots are smallish everywhere throughout Villas). The only postulate I would have is to grant access to the shed - we brought 3 bikes and obviously they do not belong in this super clean house :-). Thanks!

Un très beau séjour dans une jolie et confortable maison

La maison est jolie, confortable et très bien entretenue. Les couchers de soleil sur la plage au bout de la rue sont parmi les plus beaux que nous avons vus. L’accès aux plages de Cape May - pour se baigner - est simple (à 15 min en voiture et stationnement facile sur rue si on s’éloigne un peu du centre-ville) et deux passes sont fournies. À noter que la piscine dont il est question dans l’annonce n’est pas sur le site même. Nous n’y sommes pas allés. La buanderie est à quelques minutes de voiture et compte de nombreux appareils. Apportez votre nappe ou napperons si vous avez l’habitude d’en utiliser, car il n’y en a pas. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette coquette maison et quartier très calme. Nous recommandons.
