This large estate, located in the exclusive Toluca Lake neighborhood, has it all. Private pool (with automatic safety cover), in-pool Jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace and dining, totally private flat yard and large deck with teak furniture and market umbrellas. It has top of the line amenities, appliances and furniture. Classic and comfortable, the house is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Los Angeles, down the street from the Bob Hope Estate and other major celebrities. This estate is very close to most major movie and television studios, including Universal Studios, plus all of the major Hollywood attractions. The beaches of Santa Monica or Malibu are a 30-45 minute drive (with no traffic!) and there are several excellent public golf courses nearby.

Enjoy Los Angeles' world famous weather any time of year, with indoor-outdoor dining at home and strolls through the beautiful streets of Toluca Lake. Or walk a few short blocks and have dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants on the Boulevard, featuring excellent sushi, Italian, Brazilian, Thai or Mexican food. This home has everything, including high-speed internet!

Charming and welcoming

My family loved this house. It was clean and inviting and very well stocked. We spent a ton of time in the pool and backyard, and cooking in the chefs kitchen. The location was perfect. We were only 5min from universal and super close to shopping and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again.

Everything you need for a spacious summer getaway. Our family of 6 had a comfortable and relaxing stay. We all had plenty of space and privacy. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed chefs kitchen. The yard was large and the best part of our stay. When we were not out taking in the local landmarks we were relaxed in the pool with plenty of sun or shade which ever you choose. We will most definitely be back to this Toluca lake beauty.

The perfect stay!

Gorgeous property in such a great location. We needed a place to house our family, for our mothers memorial, as we grew up near this home, and we couldnā€™t have been happier. It was just the absolute perfect stay, Suzanne was so wonderful, and accommodating to our family. Our mother had a wonderful sendoff, and we had a stress free stay at an unbelievably gorgeous home. Thank you!!!

Fantastic House

We absolutely loved this fabulous house; it was spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished and decorated, and very well equipped. The gardens at front and back with the large pool are lovely. The home feels very private. We were a family of 4 from the UK with kids (age 11 and 13) and there was lots of room for all of us to relax. The house is in a lovely tree lined street, opposite a golf course and is very quiet, but just a few blocks away are shops and lots of good restaurants. The home is also very close to Universal Studios. The owners could not have been more accommodating. Suzanne and Ethan were a joy to deal with and really went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this home - and would definitely love to stay again.

Family stay at Toluca lake

Property is beautiful in a wonderful neighborhood. Really appreciated all the games that were available in the gorgeous back yard with a pool. Owner was very fast to respond to questions. We found that some of the sheets were not clean and had to wash them again. We also had to purchase toilet paper as there was not enough in stock. Finally, there was not coffee or sugar readily available, you would expect that in such an expensive property these amenities would be offered. Overall, the house was beautiful and our family had a wonderful time there so we would stay again.

Fantastic Stay in Toluca Lake

What a wonderful time we had during our stay at Suzanne and Ethan's home. While our day's may have been spent out seeing the sights the early morning's and the late evenings were spent out by the most wonderful pool and hot tub one could imagine. Close enough to most attractions without having to drive for hours but yet the gardens and pool area were very secluded and gave a sense of being out away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Toluca Lake was a charming little area and we had hoped to see some celebrities jogging by and while we did see a lot of people out and about we recognized no one, but we kept hoping. I would certainly return to this house in the future as I can't really think of any negatives we encountered. The home itself was a dream, well decorated, maintained and the art work inside was fantastic. If you get a chance to vacation in LA, by all means make this one high on your list

Wonderful Stay!

We had 10 people (5 couples) in our group. Great outdoor living area - the backyard is a dream! We spent most of our time outside. Lots of activities available (ping pong, board games, books, etc.). Kitchen was well-stocked with cookware items as well as basic spices, condiments, etc. Suzanne was very responsive to any questions we had about the house while we were there. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Location and beautiful home!!

This home was absolutely beautiful, very clean. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us (3 families) to stay. The backyard was fantastic. We spent most of our time outside. The kids as well as adults loved the pool and jacuzzi. We ate all our meals at the outdoor table. The location and proximity to stores was great. Trader joes was within walking distance. The property manager was so great to work with. Responded to questions very quickly. We had a wonderful few days. Should our travels bring us back to the LA area we would absolutely stay here again.

A dream home

Had such a lovely weekend staying in this beautiful home! Suzanne was extremely communicative on what was a relatively quick turnaround. Great, quiet location, incredible backyard and close to everything youā€™d want to get to in Los Angeles. The house itself was immaculate and it was almost hard to decide whether to spend more time in the master suite, the pool or the incredible kitchen. Canā€™t recommend this place enough!

Best Experience in Toluca Lake

My family booked a short weekend getaway at Suzanne's amazing Toluca Lake house. From the moment we booked, to our arrival, and departure Suzanne was always available and responsive. She made sure we arrived and checked-in safely. Suzanne also provided thorough information about the surrounding area (dining options, things to do, etc). The house itself is amazing - from the private and secluded back yard (more on that later), size & segmentation of the rooms, the stocked kitchen, and the calm-quiet surrounding area it's really hard to ask for anything more. The large yard has a safe and clean pool, a separate play area for the kids, and a large green space. The yard has shady areas from the trees and when you're back there you really do feel like there is no one else around. The house is very well taken care of through and through. Given covid and the emphasis on cleanliness the house was spotless. Suzanne also left out clorox wipes and ample cleaning supplies. Whenever we needed something we found it in one of the drawers or storage areas! If you ever have a chance to stay at Suzanne's place I would highly recommend it. I definitely plan to return and thank Suzanne for making our stay one to remember!

Awesome house

Our family of 5 adults flew from France to spend over a week in LA. Neighbourhood is lovely and quiet. THere is a number of interesting food options. With no tourist, it seems away from the crowds. Crowds are not far away though, and make any drive to anything a tad longer than I expected they would be. My mistake probably. Eventhough I kind of know my way in LA, shortcuts take the same time as main routes. The owners were a dream to deal with, about anything, any question, any request. They were patient enough to accomodate delays from my bank for a wire. Ethan and Suzanne are as nice to deal as can be, and that matches the care they took in designing and maintaining their house, which says a lot. Everything, any amenity is pristine. You feel at home, and returning to the calm of the house is very much looked forward to, especially when stuck in LA traffic! The house is really, really big. I can't say we used the sitting room, or the media room, or the exercise room, or the office. Although we would have loved to, but we were enjoying ourselves so much sitting on the deck or in the backyard. They are manicured, by the way. I must point out that there is no hidden surprise or no let down. What you see in pictures is at least what you get in real life.

Gorgeous House in a wonderful LA neighbourhood

We were two families staying for one week in the LA area. This house was the perfect place for us. Such a relaxing spot. The garden and swimming pool are wonderful, and the interior of the house is a dream. The location was great for Universal studios within about 5 mins, and within about 30 mins we were in Beverley Hills, Santa Monica, and other great tourist spots. I would highly recommend this house. The owner, Suzanne, was wonderful with every requirement we had.

Gorgeous House 15 Minutes from Hollywood

Four of my friends an I rented this home to get together with some classmates in the LA area. We wanted a place that was beautiful and quiet but accessible to both Pasadena and Hollywood where we have friends and family. The house is even nicer than the pictures depict. The rooms were very spacious, beautifully decorated and with excellent beds. There was a well equipped kitchen and understandable HVAC systems. The pool and spa were immaculate and the grounds well maintained. The owners, Suzanne and Ethan, were unfailingly gracious and accommodating, and responded quickly to any needs or inquiries. The neighborhood, borders a gold course, is full of similarly beautiful homes and grounds and is great for walking or jogging. We've rented several places on VRBO, all nice, but this was the best.

Stunning home, wonderful hosts, sorry to leave!

My husband, our 2 small children, my mother and I rented this beautiful home a couple of months ago for Christmas. We were initially concerned as although we have hired villas around the world before we have always dealt with property agents which gave us some comfort and assurance that wiring Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£/$$$$$$ would be relatively risk-free! We had never rented a home directly but the lovely property owners were so utterly accommodating, helpful and considerate that Nick and I were pinching ourselves and thinking ā€˜too good to be trueā€™! We exchanged a number of emails before taking the plunge and wiring the requisite funds to cover rent and deposit but we really had nothing to worry about - they did their utmost to ensure that our arrival at the house and our enjoyment of it was virtually seamless. They were so considerate they even stayed up until the early hours to make sure we'd arrived safely from the UK. The house is so warm, welcoming and a real home from home. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer! The couple made our Christmas very special. The house was perfect for our Christmas celebration with our American family. We loved being in the pool and our 2 boys enjoyed table tennis and entertaining us on the super patio. The local areas is very safe and a delightful place to wander about. Our hosts left us lots of information so we found settling in easy and quick. I have no hesitation in recommending S & E as your hosts and their home is one we all wish for!

We stayed for two weeks during summer in this fabulous house. The house is huge and nice. Everything in the house was as expected and better. The swimming pool is private. The owners were very helpful and tried hard to accommodate our requests. A faulty iron was exchanged straight away. We had so much fun and we wanted to stay more. This will definitely be our choice of accomodation whenever we are in LA!

Our recent visit to this great home

We recently stayed at this wonderful house for approximately 10 days during Thanksgiving 2011. The hosts were very helpful in getting us acquainted to their very comfortable home. Having Suzanne and Ethan available to familiarize us with their home really eased our minds. Both of them are very nice people to talk to and deal with. The home is in a very safe and warm and friendly neighborhood. Great for walks up to Universal City or the CityWalk or into the quaint town of Toluca Lake. It is a very peaceful neighborhood and the home has a great amount of space to enjoy. We found ourselves relaxing while reading a book or just kicking back to watch TV. The upper entertainment room overlooking the pool was our number one spot to relax. We traveled with our family of four including two children (6 & 10). The kids felt right at home as this home provided a great back yard to play catch or just lounge around. The pool and spa also reside in the very spacious backyard. It took us a while to figure out the pool settings, but really enjoyed the spa as well. The visit was very enjoyable and we would recommend to any family wishing to be in a private neighborhood that is very quiet and very safe. Thanks Suzanne & Ethan and family for such a nice visit.
