Slow down your life in our Costa Rican villa, our modern brand new 4-bedroom house has everything you need for your Costa Rica trip. The unit comes with AC, Wi-Fi, bluetooth speakers around the house, pool and grill . During your stay, you can also enjoy using a convenient kitchen, terrace, bar and living room. Our house is within walking distance to several beaches, popular restaurants, supermarkets and a 35 minutes drive from the busy Tamarindo. An ideal base to explore Costa Rica.

Whether it is surfing, sunbathing or sun salutations, there are plenty options to choose from by foot. Though tucked away on a quiet road in Potrero beach Casa Howler has an easy 3- minute walk away from the beautiful peaceful beach of Potrero and 15 minutes walk from the Stunning Penca beach.

After a long day of adventure or relaxation, you can fall into either two king beds, queen bed or single beds. Rinse off the sun and sand in the outdoor shower and take a dip in Casa Howlers gorgeous pool . There is a fully equipped kitchen for you to try out your Costa Rican culinary skills and enjoy your meals with lovely jungle views.

You are never far from a peaceful experience. Between great food and a natural environment.

Wonderful property - perfect for our family of 9. Everyone loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. The host Salty Mangrove was very helpful and arranged chef excellent services with Lucia.

Stayed here over Christmas 2025. Great house with a lot of room to spread out. Enjoyed the howler monkeys while hanging by the pool. Close to the beach and town.

Beautiful home in a great location

Casa Howler is a wonderful place. It is very conveniently located at walking distance from the beach and really close to supermarkets and restaurants. The villa itself was clean, with a relaxing view over the pool and the forest. Alberto was really kind, responsive, and attentive, and he made sure we had a pleasant stay. We would love to stay there again!

Wonderful

Very impressive house with great views of wooded area surrounding the property. It’s private, on the end of the street. Easy walk to portrero beach. The property manager was very prompt and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place!!

Spacious and comfortable

The house was wonderful. Spacious with comfortable furniture. Plenty of room for everyone to gather but also for each to have some private space. The pool was big enough for our group, private and clean. Short walk to the beach and close to groceries and local restaurants. The house is just gorgeous.

Amazing Property With Unbeatable Location

You'll love your stay at Casa Howler! It's a quiet area that is a very short walk to the beach. In the morning, you can see monkey's in the trees and the property manager is world class. Alberto and his team are extremely helpful. There are quite a few great restaurants nearby and the house has a great layout for spending quality time with family and friends. 5 stars!

Exceptional

This was truly an exceptional home. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable with tons of room to spread out. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach for sunsets and dinners in town. Afternoons in the pool watching howler monkeys swing in the trees were amazing. The included concierge service was responsive and ready to help with any of our needs. Highly recommended. We hope to return soon!

Amazing pool and great concierge.

We stayed for two weeks and it was amazing. The house was spacious and had a washer dryer which was a plus. Shopping was close. Alberto was very attentive and answered any concerns and booked our tours for us. The pool was amazing and we spent many hours in it. It would be advisable to rent a golf cart which made it easier to get around and pick up groceries. Eric was a great driver and knew lots about the area.Take the sunset catamaran tour. We saw dolphins, whales and had fresh fish on the cruise. The howler monkeys came right next to the house in the trees a couple of nights. I would recommend staying at this property.

Casa Howler , potential fraude

After booking the house, I immediately called the property management salty mangrove and spoke with one of the owners, Alberto Quevedo, to verify safety in the area and the house. He assured me that the area, neighborhood was safe, and the house had security cameras on 24/7. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived at the house it was not true and called him immediately, he told me not to worry and repeated the same story. I told him that I was going out for dinner and after we could do the proper check-in and meet in person. We left and got back to the house around 2 hours later and it had been broken into and all our valuables gone. A side door leading to the laundry room had been kicked in and destroyed. We texted Alberto Quevedo that we were robbed he told us to not call the police and that everything was going to be ok and that he would come by as soon as possible. He arrived over 2 hours later and said there was nothing he could do about it at that moment and that he would handle the situation for us the next morning. When we asked about the cameras, he told us that the router had been stolen as well; so, there was no footage of anyone breaking in or our things being stolen. I have friends and family in Costa Rica, luckily, they called the police who showed up at 10pm to take our statements and fill out a police report. The manager went to speak with the neighbors as they also had cameras and he came back to tell us that their cameras weren’t working either. Be alert!

We had lots of happy and safe guests before Laura. We are alway around and ready to help with anything that might happen. Unfortunately we had a breakin on the first night of Lauras stay. As soon as we heard the news Alberto went straight to the house, cooperated with the police and did everything we could.Laura was a really difficult guest and was screaming and swearing the entire time so it made it harder for us to help. After this we had implement lots of new security measures like a new alarm system, with armed response and re enforces doors and locks
