Sol y Mar is the only condo development located directly on the beach in Playa Hermosa, offering a private and secure retreat within a lush, manicured setting. This top-floor 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo sleeps 6 comfortably, featuring a king in the master, queen in the second bedroom, and two twins (convertible to a king) in the third.

The Neighborhood: Playa Hermosa is a small village with one of the safest and most calm beaches in Costa Rica. There you will find and ample amount of restaurants and sodas plus a small grocery store and pharmacy. A soda is a small Costa Rican family run restaurant with fresh home cooked food at reasonable prices. About 15 minutes away is Playas del Coco. In Coco, there are many restaurants, bars, shops, casinos, banks, and four grocery stores.

Sol y Mar is the only condo development directly on the beach in beautiful Playa Hermosa. With beautiful architecture, manicured grounds and lush landscaping, it's truly an oasis in the middle of paradise. There are only 11 units. Our unit is in the rear building on the top floor. This affords us the highest levels of both privacy and security.

Our condo is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit that sleeps 6. There is a king bed in master bedroom. Queen bed in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the third bedroom that can be converted in a King. Gourmet kitchen, well stocked with all the cooking essentials. Spacious living room with plenty of seating. The dining table inside seats 6.

There is a screened in patio off of the master bedroom, which can also be accessed from the main living area. This is a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee/tea or an evening cocktail in a "bug free" outside area.

Located just off of the main living areas is an expansive balcony, with plenty of seating to just relax, read a book or dine al fresco. Enjoy a peek a boo view of the beach and ocean while grilling at our recently renovated outdoor kitchen. Don't want to eat in? No problem, since there are many fabulous choices within a 5 minute walk. Just walk downstairs, past the beautiful pool and onto the beach. Turn right on the path and you'll soon be enjoying a great meal at one of our local favorite restaurants. There are many!

Amazing property in a great location

This condo has everything you could need for your stay. It was a perfect size for our family of 5. We especially enjoyed the porches, layout of the condo, the fully stocked kitchen and the beach chairs/snorkel gear. The house manager was very friendly and helpful. A few restaurants within walking distance and a mini market at the top of the hill as you enter the two streets to get to the house (probably a 15-20 minute walk). I also recommend getting a table massage in the trees close to the condo. Maria (or maybe Marie) will approach you on the beach. She is worth the 60.

We had a wonderful experience. Condo had everything we needed. It was close to the beach, to restaurants and the pool was perfect. The parking was easy and everyone from the condo staff to the management team were helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful condo

The condo is beautiful and exactly as shown in the images. This was our first time in CR, it is very safe & everyone is so nice. Being able to drink the water in the condo was a great plus! Almost seemed like we had the whole complex to ourselves, the pool was a must (as it was so hot). We were within walking distance to 2 small groceries, which we frequently went to for snacks and drinks. We ate at several restaurants in the area and was able to walk to all of them. The condo had a few games, beach chairs, pool loungers & coolers too. It was wonderful! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

AC not working and location not great

Overall this property is nice, but the area around it isn't. When we checked in our room was very hot (89 inside). The property manager said it would cool down and it was 79 when we woke up the next morning. We got moved to a different unit which was cooler but wasn't as nice compared to the other unit. It looked like everything was purchased from a garage sale. I would stay at a more well known property next time. The property manager did her best but could only do so much.

Great Condo and Thank You Zindis Group!

Our stay at this condo in Playa Hermosa was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect – close to everything we needed while still providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. The condo itself felt more like a home than a vacation rental, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. Gorgeous and welcoming

Exceeded expectations in every way. It was not easy to find lodgings big enough for family of 6 and close to the beach. I was really glad to find this condo. Pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful decor, very well appointed for every need. Great location with A swimming pool and a private beach. Special gratitude to the management company that assisted us with booking activities and reserving a car at a very good rate. We will definitely stay here again, should we be so lucky!

We all enjoyed the beach and the walk-to restaurants. Had some issues with hot water but the unit in general was very well stocked, furnished and managed.

Costa Rica New Years

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Check in at the office was simple and quick. Perfect location right on the beach made for an extremely enjoyable week. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the unit and it had plenty of "extras" to make our visit that much more enjoyable. Beach chairs, a small cooler, boogie boards and other beach items were on the side balcony. The grill was nice and we grilled out several times. Will absolutely be utilizing this property on our next trip to Costa Rica.

Fantastic Trip and Accomodations

This property was just as described. The unit had everything we needed for our family of five. My wife and I along with our 3 adult children really enjoyed all the amenities. Perfect location , walking distance to a few restaurants and bars. Very clean location and felt very safe during our stay. We made day trips to other beaches in the area and felt that Playa Hermosa was the best beach out of all of them. Would definitely stay here again..

Great place to stay

The property was great. Everything was very clean and met our expectations. The check in process was smooth .The complex was not very busy, so most of the time we felt like we were the only ones there. Several restaurants within walking distance made it a convenient location.

Fully stocked condo on beautiful beach

We loved the quiet Playa Hermosa with a few restaurants walking distance, but no hub bub of tourist traps. The condo has tons of towels, beach gear, kitchen utensils, etc. Very clean and spacious for the 5 of us. Pool was excellent as well, the kids loved it and within 2 hours of any tour we wanted to go on.

I would definitely stay again.

We were met at the condo by the property manager to go over maps of the area, including restaurants, grocery stores, etc. He also went over tv instructions. The apartment was in a great location, close to great restaurants within walking distance if desired. It was clean and also very spacious, with six of us staying there. The pool was fabulous. We even saw monkeys in the trees across the street, which was amazing! The pictures are accurate—beautiful spot, right on the beach. Altogether, a great trip! I would definitely stay again.

Great place on the beach

Amazing condo right on the beach. So much room for our family to spread out and easy to come and go from the beach all day. A very stocked kitchen, great laundry and lots of extra beach stuff!
