The completely renovated Kitchen, Dining and Living area is now complimented by a total renovation of the three bathrooms and bedrooms. The top rating on the property, the remodeling is sure to be awe inspiring. A 3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2100 square feet Villa, is available for weekly rentals located in Playa Ocotal. This split level villa, with phenomenal ocean view, is one of only forty villas, on a secluded cove, which makes for a lovely getaway. Two infinity pools, one only steps away from 'Flying V Villa' are on site. A large covered patio, with additional dining and living areas, ceiling fans, Bluetooth stereo and landscape lighting will make you never want to leave the villa.

Villa includes, HD TV, Wireless Internet, Hi End Surround Sound, washer and dryer, and a fully equipped stunning kitchen. Each room has ceiling fans and screens, should you want to enjoy the sea breeze and sounds of the ocean. Maid service and 24 hour security, are there for your convenience.

World Class Fishing and Diving tours, leave from our beach and excellent snorkeling, is right at the shore, as well as massages, available on the beach. Canopy Adventures, Volcanoes, Spas, National Parks and Wildlife Tours, are among many day trips, that can be arranged from the office. A wonderful staff is on site, to make your stay in Costa Rica a memorable vacation.

Soluna Beach Bistro, our poolside restaurant and bar, is only steps from the ocean and is a great place for socializing and dining. The village of Playa Coco is only 3 kilometers away and offers many restaurants, shops, bars and a Casino.

This is a well appointed property with fantastic views.We felt secure in our surroundings being located on a steep mountain side that winds down to our beach, pool and restaurant. (Food excellent)The staff was friendly and many went out of their way to make one feel comfortable. The staff facilitated several excursions, fishing being the favorite. The restaurant cooked our catch.Communication with the hosts was very easy and they provided a lot of upfront information.Would I come back? Absolutely

Great Location and Villa!

Enjoyed a week of beach and activities. Hosts were fantastic with great suggestions and the accommodation was well laid out with great views. Kids loved the pool and jumping in the waves on the beach! Food at resort restaurant was top notch!

Absolutely stunning vacation

Our family had the most amazing trip for our first vacation to Costa Rica! Verda was absolutely amazing prior to our arrival up until after our departure. The villa is gorgeous with plenty of space. We cooked in for meals and went out. Jacky at the resort was also incredibly helpful with planning all of our excursions and adventures! We truly enjoyed our little magpie bird friends and other creatures that visited us on the patio. We can’t wait to plan a trip back!!

Flying Villa

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and were extremely pleased we chose this place. The communication with Verda the host was excellent. The location is a reasonable distance from Liberia airport. This villa is part of a larger resort that has a fabulous restaurant down by the pool. Of note is that you will need a vehicle to get back from pool and restaurant as there is a very steep incline..we will definitely be back

Costa Rica. Resort

Verda was an excellent host, very prompt with answering questions. The view is fabulous and we really enjoyed the property. I own a Resort, so I understand what a well stocked villa takes. The villa had everything we needed plus extras. The kitchen had all necessary utensils and everything in great working order. We had a million dollar view and the flowers along the patio frame the beautiful ocean. It was very quiet and the Resort staff were so helpful with our excursions. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Costa Rica!

Great to be back!

Felt like returning home after our initial stay five years ago. The hosts were very accommodating and provided many recommendations to make our trip memorable, the unit was very well equipped, and the property manager went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Great Vacation

This property was amazing! The view from the patio was top notch - morning sunshine and evening sunsets! The host was very accommodating and the villa was outfitted perfectly! The host suggestions for activities to do around the area were very helpful. The pools were refreshing and the bar drinks were tasty! We had a wonderful family vacation and loved every minute of it!

FANTASTIC!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay and cannot say enough, start to finish, about the property and the hosts! They were incredibly helpful with booking excursion and activities, responsive at all times and have a truly beautiful condo! The view is stunning and the place has everything you could possibly need in a visit to Costa Rica! It was truly a fantastic family vacation thanks in large part to our wonderful hosts!

Paradise

The property was amazing. All staff were kind and very helpful. We booked a few excursions through the office that were all very successful. The food at the restaurant on the property was delicious. We ate there at least once a day! The massage and facial are recommended whether in your villa or on the beach. We hope to come back!

Immaculate property

Beautiful property with expansive view of the ocean. Neil and Verda the owners were immediately responsive with any question we had. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Everything was super clean (I’m super picky about this!) and beds were comfortable. We stayed for the month of February and had a wonderful time - you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect Vacation Villa

If you read other reviews about this Villa, they more than adequately express our views and complete satisfaction with our late January, 2023 stay. The Villa is exceptional not only in its location, with extraordinary views and accessibility to the pools, but how beautifully it was organized, decorated and had everything you need to cook, recreate and completely relax. Great communications with both Verda and Neil and they have thought of just about everything a vacationer would need while staying at a home away from home. We would recommend this Costa Rican Villa to anyone without hesitation.

There were a lot of highlights to staying at the Flying V Villa, but what made the experience truly exceptional were the viewpoint of the ocean sunsets and the hospitality of our hosts, Verda and Neil. The villa was comfortable and very well stocked in towels and kitchen items. We really enjoyed the quiet resort. July is slow month and it was terrific to avoid the crowds of normal summer vacationing. Our hosts went above and beyond in providing information and accommodating any requests immediately. Would recommend 100%!

Wonderful Week

Our family had a wonderful week at Verda and Neil’s villa, the Flying V. The view was outstanding, the villa was as advertised, extremely roomy, comfortable, nicely appointed, and well stocked. The onsite Beach Club and restaurant were lovely. Soluna food was very good and not overpriced. We booked two tours/excursions through the onsite manager and they were both excellent. Do rent a car as Bahia Pez Vela is a couple of miles from town. Driving isn’t as scary as some make it out to be. Verda was very helpful with pre planning, so much so we never had to reach out during our stay.

We stayed at the flying V from Jan 14-Jan 22 2009 and found the accomodations to be fantistic. The views of the Pacific and all the birds and "Howling Monkeys" made the stay even more enjoyable. Verda and Neil were wonderful to work with and her organization of all the various things to do made our trip so easy. We went on most of the tours but we enjoyed our two fishing trips the best. The all day trip ended with a 400 pound blue marlin catch and our 1/2 day trip ended with numerious red snapper which the restaurant cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend the Flying V villa for a great vacation rental.

R&R in a lovely, fully stocked condo

Condo is immaculately clean & fully stocked. View is wonderful. Black sand beach is quiet and relaxing, saw 10 people at most all day. Be aware you do need a car. While the beach & pool are a quick 2 min. coast down the road, the road is extremely steep & would be a challenging return walk. Concierge is very friendly & helpful. Good restaurants close by. Easy to cook in if you desire. This is close to Liberia airport, be prepared to see a lot of Americans. We had a wonderful time, no complaints at all!

Beautiful Villa - Outstanding Views

Our visit to Bahia Pez Vela and the Flying V Villa was lovely. Verda and Neal were fantastic and happened to be on the property at their other rental during our stay and helpful for restaurant suggestions and activities. The beds were comfortable, the Villa was well appointed with everything we needed and the closest town, Playa del Coco (Coco Beach) had tons of awesome places to eat and not a bad bite! Bahia Pez Vela’s restaurant, Soluna, is located at the pool/beach area and also has great food and terrific cocktails! 😋 Our group walked the property frequently, but it’s not for the faint of heart! The inclines to create those spectacular views are challenging but if you’re into a good workout—go for it!! You’ll love your stay here!

Private and lovely

This villa is beautiful, clean, and nicely appointed. It is hard to get out and about due to very steep, narrow roads. The restaurant seemed expensive to me, but the staff was very gracious. We were traveling with my elderly parents. It was a little challenging for them with limited mobility. The pool on our level was greatly appreciated since the roads were so steep, and narrow, they did not feel comfortable driving. I recommend this location if you are seeking quiet, solitude, and a spectacular view.

The house, the view, the people and most of all the host

We stayed at this villa for a week. The house is has an amazing location and the view from the terrace is stunning. The place is decorate with amazing taste which makes the stay all the more pleasant. There are friendly animals visiting in case you care for that. The office people are very friendly and accommodating and they facilitated all the requests we had. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Most of all though we were impressed with the host who gave us all kind of valuable information prior to our arrival and then she was extremely responsive to any request we had during our stay A vacation to remember for a long time One recommendation is to have a car to make moving around easier

Everything and more....

After a week full of many activities (diving, fishing, Monteverde cloud forest, Las Leonas waterfalls hike and rafting, spearfishing and surfing), the family vote for best part of the vacation was our home away from home. The hosts are incredible and quickly became friends offering so much help and insight. View from the condo is majestic, and we loved sunrise and sunset book ends to our day. Clean, fully equipped, comfortable and immediately felt like home thanks to Neil and Verda. A fantastic secluded beach, great pools (one 50 meters form the front door we enjoyed regularly) and great staff at the property. Excursions were easily arranged including pick-up from the beach for water activities. Great markets nearby and Playa Des Coco offers a fun escape for meals and the local scene. Will definitely be back and thanks again for our wonderful hosts.

Wonderful trip with our adult children

This Villa and Costa Rica are absolutely fantastic! The restaurant and bar on site were great and the staff is ah-mazing! I did not plan to rent a car, and Verda suggested I do, which I was very glad that I did. Especially since the main pool, beach and restaurant were down two very steep roads so we had to drive to them. The beach had black sand which was really cool to see but very hot on the feet! You will definitely want to bring water shoes. I highly recommend this Villa as it was absolutely beautiful, completely stocked with everything you would need, great communication with owners and staff at the resort. Pura Vida!!!

Costa Rica’s Hidden Gem!

Stunning spacious villa with every amenity you could need! Overlooking the ocean, the views can’t be beat! Resort complex is quaint, very well maintained with beautiful flowers and foliage- nature surrounds you! Howler monkeys were even on site! The mountainous terrain was great for exercising in paradise! The black sand beach is protected in a cove which makes it feel so private and special! Ocean was a perfect combination of beauty and calmness for swimming and fun!! Staff was very friendly and helpful and the ability to book any amazing adventure trip directly through the resort made it so convenient and easy to create the trip of a lifetime!! The onsite restaurant located by the pool and steps to the beach had phenomenal fresh food and drinks and wonderful friendly staff! Neil and Verda are hosts to be emulated! Excellent communication - extremely helpful wonderful people! We can’t wait to recommend this special place to our friends and family!! Thank you again Neil and Verda!!!
