Regarding the bug you mentioned, weather conditions on Maui can sometimes influence activity levels. The recent heavy rains did have an impact on this type of activity. We do proactively schedule regular pest-control services to manage this. As we did not receive any reports during your stay, we were unaware that assistance was needed, but our team would have been happy to address this promptly. We’re pleased we were able to resolve the blinds issue the same day it was reported—thank you again for bringing it to our attention. This unit is rated Island Casual, offering comfort and value but not recent upgrades. For future stays, you may prefer our Premier or Premier Plus units, which feature newer furnishings and modern updates. Thank you also for noting the window treatments and the bathroom window. We are happy to hear our guest enjoyed his stay and appreciated the amazing views from this property and its location in this resort. It is unfortunate he did not view the photos of the property he selected. It is, indeed, one of few in the resort that has not been renovated and for this reason rents for several hundred dollars less than similar properties that have been fully renovated. The photos are very accurate. The property is clean, comfortable and functional as advertised. Because it is an affordable option in this 5 star resort, it has a very strong following and is very popular for many of our guests who return to this property year after year :)

We regret the blinds upstairs were broken by children of the previous guests. New ones were ordered immediately. Temporary blinds were installed for the interim. It is unfortunate we do not have the ability to get immediate replacements for custom blinds and we regret our guest was so adversely affected by this. The bath and shower are original design for the Bay Villas. The master baths in this floor plan are large in proportion and have wide sunk in tubs. A bit dated perhaps but very clean and well maintained :)

Aloha Sue, we are sorry you had cell coverage issues. We are told the T-Mobile is the best. We will work to add a landline to the unit for safety. Note, we do have one-level units available so we look forward to helping you pick the right unit and hosting you again son.
