Great stay in Elk Rapids

Awesome older home with lots of character. Well stocked with everything we needed and really clean! We enjoyed spending time on the back deck and front porch.Great neighborhood, very quiet and a short walk to Elk Rapids. Highly recommended!

Love this house. Its beautifully decorated, close to town, restaurants and the beaches for the family and kids to enjoy and has every amenity you could possibly imagine to make our stay like we were at home! We'll be back for certain!

We’ve been coming to El Rapids for 30 years. It was great having some additional space and AC for humid nights! The house had everything we needed including a BBQ, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen! I would definitely stay there again!

Absolute beautiful home

We stayed from 09/04 to 09/10/2011 at this absolute beautiful home. We spent the week there with our two-year old daughter, her two grandma's and grandpa. The entire house is furnished with beautiful Victorian pieces. We all had wonderful bedrooms, and the kitchen was a chef's dream to cook in. This kitchen had more supplies than my own kitchen. The landlady thought of everything in this house. The backyard had a nice patio with patio furniture and barbecue. The neighborhood is nice and quite, and it only five minutes to walk to the beautiful little village, with very good restaurants, and also just five minutes to the beach and playground. Elk Rapids is a wonderful place to stay and this house was just gorgeous. The landlady had a very professional set-up which we appreciated. We can only say the best about this place, and hope, that we can come back and stay here again.

The house is lovely in a fine location to town & the park, marina, library. I was born & raised in Traverse City, have friends & relatives there. I prefer Elk Rapids because of its central location to all points between TC & Mackinac

Beautiful and spacious house

Loved our stay, especially the backyard area with cozy patio and croquet sets for the kids to play in. The kitchen was well equipped and we spent most time in the kitchen and backyard. Everything was comfortable and organized. Thank you!

Elk Ridge Victorian Fantastic!

The Victorian house was fantastic and very well equipped for the six adults we had. Three bedrooms and two baths worked great. Loved the kitchen and everything being readily available. We also enjoyed eating on the deck whenever possible. We used the shed to store our rental bikes. The bay is within a safe walking distance with incredible sunsets and some evening ice cream. Elk Lake and Torch lake are an easy and short drive. Traverse city is close and you can get to the west coast in 1 hour! Loved the house and the area.

Elk Rapids Victoria Place

There were eight family members of all different ages and everyone had a great time! The house is so comfortable it has everything you could possibly need. We did most of the cooking at home on the outside barbecurer. Property owners are just really nice people and there to hp when you need it. Just a really really nice vacation!

Perfect for a family getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our 4 kids and shared the house for part of the time with my mom. There was plenty of room for all, and the house was immaculate when we arrived. Deborah was really helpful when I couldn't figure out how to run the dishwasher (which turned out to be 100% operator error), and the house was comfortable, well-stocked, and beautiful. Elk Rapids is a great place for a family vacation, with easy access to the beach, and fun stores, farmer's market, etc. We'll be back!

Beautiful and comfortable home in town location.

We loved this home. The cleanliness was impeccable. Very comfortably furnished. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed walking to the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything is close including the town movie theater. We highly recommend!

Great place, inside and out.

The place is very nice and clean. Everything you need in the kitchen. Some games for all ages. Some beach toys for the little ones. Nice size deck in back yard. One bedroom on main floor. One draw back the upstairs bathroom is in the master bedroom. Owner is on top of email, text and phone calls. Easy walking distance to town and beach. Thank you for making your home available for my family. We had a great stay.

Quaint Historic Home

Comfortable home in lovely northern Michigan town

We returned to Victoria Place this summer after a one week stay in June of 2015. We loved the town of Elk Rapids, MI: the beautiful harbor, the small commercial area with just the right mix of shops and eating places, the walking-friendly streets lined with charming cottages and Victorian houses. We had a fishing boat with us both visits; we loved the accessibility of Traverse Bay and surrounding lakes. We particularly loved coming back to this charming house at the end of a long fishing day. The kitchen was so well-stocked, user-friendly, and filled with sunlight! The living area and bedrooms were comfortable and decorated in Victorian style. Great washer and dryer. Nice front porch and back deck. What more could you ask for? A relaxing home away from home!

Wonderful place!!

We enjoyed a terrific week at this house! All of us were very comfortable: 6 adults and 5 kids under 7, and there was room for all of us. The back deck with the extra chairs was a great spot to sit and catch up with extended family members who stopped by. The house was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was better equipped than my own! We look forward to a return visit!

Spacious, Well-appointed Home

We just got back from a lovely vacation staying at Victoria Place. The home is as advertised -- spacious, convenient to town and to a terrific park on the beach. We also really liked Elk Rapids as a town -- it's one of the few places left in Northern Michigan that has retained its "Up North" charm and still has great shopping and restaurants. It's also very close to Traverse and Charlevoix for anything that you might need. We don't have a boat, so being away from the waterfront was okay for us. Deborah was very helpful. The house is well appointed with everything you might need. LOVED having a washer and dryer right there when traveling with two kids.

Even better than expected

This home was a 10+++, and even more beautiful than the pictures. This is a perfect location with downtown Elk Rapids only 2 short blocks away with great shopping, food, a playground, picnic area and beautiful beach. We comfortably slept 9 people and had plenty of room. Everything that we needed was provided for and the home was immaculate in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We have recommended this home to many people and we will absolutely rent this home again
