We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautiful, cozy, and surrounded by nature. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and escape the city.What surprised us most was how convenient the location is. Even though the house feels like it’s tucked away in the middle of the forest, everything is actually very close. The nearest supermarket is only about 15 minutes away, and everything you need is within easy reach.It’s the perfect combination of privacy, nature, and convenience. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

Cabin was in a great location not right near the road. Lots of games in working condition that the entire family enjoyed. Would stay again!

The communication with the host before, during, and after was always prompt and helpful. The house had plenty of room for all 9 of us and the game room was a huge hit with so many different options that we often found ourselves there in our free moments with something to do for everyone! The group also loved having a fridge downstairs for drinks. We enjoyed the 2000 piece state parks puzzle at the house and the hot tub was ready and welcoming as we arrived and much appreciated after some of our active days hiking nearby. The kitchen is ready for a full house with plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and seating as well as a good assortment of pots and pans and even bakeware so that we were easily able to make most of our meals at the house. Any questions or issues were quickly taken care of by the host. Loved that she was only a message away and prompt with answers and solutions. The home served us well for the week as we were in the area for a wedding and got in some hiking too. Check out the Strawberry Gap Trail that is mere minutes from the house!

Perfect Family Vacation!

This property has it all! From nearby hikes, every game imaginable in the basement, and a 20-30 min drive to Ashville. We could not have had a better trip. Everyone one agreed this house was perfect! Also if we had any questions or needed anything Courtney was quick to reply and help. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains

This cabin was perfect for us (6 couples, 5 kids age 5-11). Beautiful setting, close to lots of hiking, easy drive to Asheville, close to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We actually didn't even go into Asheville like we had planned because there was so much to do in Gerton, Bay Cave, and Chimney Rock village. The game room was amazing, hot tub was great, house was immaculately clean, well decorated. Highly recommend!!

Great place, great hosts

The property was perfect, everything you need was there. The hosts were so attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. The game room was so awesome and our dogs loved running around the yard. The bunk beds were great for the kids and our party was so comfortable at the house. The house was really close to Chimney Rock which was the best day of the trip. Again cant say enough how great the hosts were! Highly recommend!

Good time in Gerton

The house was just as good as posted. We were able to meet with family other than in a hotel room. The kids (from 11 thru 70) all enjoyed the Game Room. Having everything labeled makes everything easy to find and switch lights on and off. Thank You, Roger

Fun with Unexpected Extras

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for about a month with our French Bulldog along with family and friends who came and went during the month. Game room a big hit for young and old. Found the home to be clean and newly remodeled with lots of unexpected extras such as sharp knives, glass rinser, generous supply of glasses and flatware, amazing fire pit.... and on and on. Chuck, the handyman helped us as well as our guests (with travel trailer) and his wife cleaned the house extremely well. Enjoyed seeing the deer. Surprised to find dishes and blanket for the puppy. A bit of a drive to attractions, but overall a great and fun experience.
