This quaint little Catskills cottage is nestled along Stony Clove Creek. It sits minutes up a peaceful country road from both Phoenicia and Hunter. Accessible from the cottage is the stream for dipping and fishing, and is near to all that the Catskills has to offer. Inside, you’ll enjoy high-speed WiFi, luxury furnishings, thoughtful amenities, Smart TV, and more to make your stay comfortable, memorable, and breezy.

The Space:

We suggest you download and save the access codes, WiFi instructions, and directions to the property prior to making the drive, as cell phone service can be spotty in the Catskill region.

The Neighborhood:
This cottage is in the quaint Catskills town of Lanesville, and cozies up to a stream that’s peaceful bubbling sound makes days and nights spent here feel all the more serene. Step out onto the deck and inhale the cool mountain air, then embark on a hike at one of the nearby trails (Diamond Notch is famous) or simply take a stroll through the surrounding wooded area. A 10 minute drive will deliver you to the center of Phoenicia town, where some of the Catskills’ finest restaurants, boutiques and art galleries coexist unpretentiously. Make sure to grab breakfast at the historic Phoenicia Diner, a local favorite for over half a century. A 20 minute car ride takes you to the numerous artistic and cultural attractions of Woodstock, the ski slopes of Hunter Mountain, the horse show grounds of HITS or breathtaking Kaaterskill Falls.

Getting Around:
Bringing or renting a car is highly recommended as Uber, Lyft and Taxi service in the area can be extremely limited. Four-wheel drive is encouraged in the winter months for safety on potentially slick and snowy roads.
