Beautifully renovated 1 bedroom/1 bathroom lakefront and poolside Villa. Granite countertops and tile floors in kitchen and bath. Queen-size bed with gel-infused memory pillow-top mattress. Sofa sleeper in living room provides additional sleeping with "ultra-real" mattress. 50" mounted flat screen TV with Blue Ray DVD player. The condo also has WiFi and washer/dryer. Enjoy gorgeous sunset views over Lake Travis from your patio and listen to the sound of the waterfalls fountain just steps away!

Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste.
The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake.
There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery!
When you rent from North Shore Vacation Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each of our condo's come with a fully equipped kitchen and linens for the bedrooms and baths. Covered Parking is on ground level with reserved parking, and additional "guest" spaces as well. There are 5 elevators on property.
We provide our guests with check in information prior to their arrival, which will include the front gate code, assigned parking spaces, directions to the condo and door code for added convenience. (Front Desk Check In is not required, and allows guests to arrive and access condo late at night if necessary).

Great place to stay. Would definitely visit again. The place was inviting, the host was responsive, the unit was clean with everything you need to feel at home, plus there is a great view.

The accommodation was itself was nice, but the location had little appeal and is no longer an island on the shrunken Colorado river. There was nowhere to walk other than nearby residential streets. The main issue for us was the noise. Someone played music in the evenings which was very loud in our condo even with doors and windows closed. For a period of around 30-45 minutes one time they turned the volume to an extreme level. When I briefly opened the door it felt like being at a concert. What is particularly ironic is that the property sent an email before we got there listing their rules (courtesy, annoyance and noise...) AND the fine schedule for breaking the rules! But there is apparently no enforcement capability. We were unaware of any non-janitorial staff onsite and the only recourse appeared to be a 24 hour answering service which we didn't bother with.

Property is beautiful!

The condo was very nice and clean, it had everything we needed. We used the pool and hot tub which is within walking distance of the condo. The porch could use a good cleaning. I would stay here again!

Father’s Day Trip

It was a Father’s Day trip for my husband he enjoyed it so much he said I picked the perfect location and when we come back this is where he wants to stay again we were both happy

This was our first time at the property. The unit was outstanding. We were able to drop our stuff off early and swim while the unit was being cleaned. The grounds were clean and beautiful. I wish there were more signs to Lylene's. When we got there at 9pm on Friday the doors were locked and the lady said the cook left early due to no business. He actually just wanted a drink. Thou, if I was not staying on the resort and just came for dinner I would be livid. maintenance and house cleaning are very friendly along with all the guests. I would put more table and chairs by the pool. Thanks for the hospitality!

Enjoyed our time at the lake, with driving access to Austin

Spent a little time off-season at the lake. The unit is efficiently laid out and perfectly sized for 2 people to stay. This is a remote location so plann on commute time to grocery store, restaurants and activities. This first floor unit is right next to the pool so you do see and hear people coming and going.

Room was stocked with less than a quarter roll of toilet paper. Blankets had blood ridden bandaid stuck to it and another sheet was dirt stained. Room was great, service preparation was not.

Definitely coming back!

It was a very relaxing vacation for us. Unit was very clean, we enjoyed the balcony drinking coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. You can’t beat the view and peaceful atmosphere. Hot tub was additional plus to enjoy. Special thank you to the office manager for willing to help us to change dates due to family emergency.

Rough start but ended well.

Love the place, wife and I enjoy coming here for short weekend get aways. Great scenery, well maintained, nice pools and easy access to the lake. It’s a hidden little gem in the hill country. Only issue we had was the room did not appear to have been cleaned after the previous guests. We called the property manager and someone was there the next morning to do an actual full cleaning. Aside from that we enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

July 4th Week

Came for July 4th week. Crew was still cleaning when we arrived at 4:15. Smelled a little musky, but could have been because it’s by the water. Overall everything was good.

Fine overall

The unit was clean, well supplied and as advertised. Only one lock on the door accessible with a code from the outside was unacceptable and quite scary as a woman traveling alone. Who has the code? Cleaners? Handyman? Previous tenants? Spend $50 on an additional deadbolt that cannot be opened from outside. The island itself leaves a lot to be desired. The structure is tired and underwhelming. Feels like motel. I’d recommend this for the price if you are a budget traveler, but it is by no means fancy.

Happy but...

There were crumbs on the carpet, under the furniture and on the floor in the dining area. I have Celiacs Disease. I can't eat grains. Must be gluton free. So they weren't from me. Minor maintenance issues- 2 of 3 bulbs out in kitchen and a broken set of blinds. Also a steak knife was missing. I regard all this as minor and was happy with my stay. I would recommend and rent from you again. Thank you.

Great place and lovely views

Perfect place and location, not to mention the morning coffee on the patio overlooking the lake and beautiful pool super relaxing, definitely worth staying again, this was our second trip in one month, our girls 22, 17 and 14 loved the lake .... the condominium was super clean and perfect size.

the unit that we rented was good except the shower. It was full of black mold to the extent that we did not feel comfortable it taking a shower. You all should take care of that issue. also, the boat ramp was very steep and the area to park your boat was very rough and not user friendly.

Don't have a big truck or boat

No information on where to store trailer and boat. (signs saying do not park boat or trailer) HORRIBLE boat ramp and location (only 1 ramp). Ramp was very steep. HORRIBLE road to get to ramp and parking. The parking lot was made for a mini car. We most definitely will not stay again. Customer service was terrible!!!

Excellent

We enjoyed our time at Lago Vista enjoying the beautiful views, sunsets, and the weather. Being able to walk the surrounding area, meeting others during the "meet and greet," and watching the activity on the lake helped to make our stay relaxing and peaceful. We look forward to returning.
