Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1850 square foot, single level home is located in the beautiful Animas Valley and has everything you need (and more!) for a fantastic vacation. After a long day on the trails come back to enjoy the private hot tub, covered back terrace with outdoor dining table, gas fire pit, BBQ gas grill, and fully fenced back yard. An easy 12 minute drive south to Historic Downtown Durango or 20 minutes north to Purgatory Ski Resort you'll find the central location is perfect for enjoying all Durango has to offer. The newly renovated Durango Hot Springs is just a 1/2 mile from the home and Dalton Ranch Golf Course along with PJs Market and Liquor store are just across highway 550 only a mile from the house.

Pet Policy
No dogs are allowed unless prearranged with the management company. There is an additional pet fee of $100 per dog per reservation. Maximum 2 dogs. Renters are responsible for their pet(s) at all times and must ensure all solid wastes have been picked up and disposed of before departure. There will be a $500 fine if there is an unauthorized pet on the property.

NO Smoking anywhere on the premises.

Guests will be sent a vacation rental agreement by Durango Colorado Vacations (the property manager) to e-sign at the time of booking.

A friendly reminder before you book your stay, is to remember we are trusted to manage independent and family-owned homes. We simply ask that you treat these homes and properties with the same respect that you would expect one to treat yours. Due to a recent uptick in unauthorized guest, pets and gatherings. We are implementing a strict "one strike" policy for any guest that are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets, or guest with them in the home. Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.

Please note that most properties are outfitted with outdoor security cameras.

Cancellation Policy:
If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Between (29) days and fifteen (15) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. (14) days or less to arrival, no refunds given.
For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee Cancellations made between thirty-one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.

Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Great Getaway~

Loved the house and the cozy neighborhood. The only drawbacks were the grill and dishwasher. We grill a lot and it was a struggle to cook on it so we weren't able to make that happen. The dishwasher had no heating element and the clean dishes were always dripping with water.Small issues which can be easily remedied.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay here. We have our own VRBO property and this one was taken care of the way we'd take care of ours. It was away from the noise of town but close enough to go for dinner. Nice proximity to the golf course. We'd definately stay here again.

Wonderful Durango home

The setup of the home had great flow; everything was wonderfully appointed, especially the kitchen. We loved the fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We brought the dog so having a completely fenced yard was great. The location was perfect, near the grocery store ,near enough to both town and the ski resort. We have rented vacation homes at ski resorts and in San Diego but this house is exceptional.

Perfect home away from home.

This was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The house had everything you needed during your stay. The kitchen was stocked with some basic staples and commonly used spices and oils. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. The location was central to the things we wanted to do. We couldnā€™t have asked for more!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Beautiful and clean home with lots of extras! Loved the neighborhood and area! Kitchen cookware, utensils and even spices were a super nice touch for us! We enjoy cooking rather than eating out everyday during vacation. Loved the backyard with the fire pit and hot tub! Furniture and beds were super comfy too!!!

We recently stayed at Animas Valley View in Durango, and it was a wonderful experience! The location was perfect, nestled in a beautiful area with easy access to local attractions and outdoor activities. The host was incredibly welcoming, providing us with helpful tips and recommendations for our stay. The property itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the charming decor and the easy access to skiing in Purgatory and dinners in downtown Durango. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind and explore Durango. Highly recommend!

Quick trip to durango

Lovely house in a very quiet neighborhood. Nicely furnished with comfortable furniture. The only issues we had were with the management of the property. It had lovely outdoor space but need a good clean up. We could not use the grill..Dirty with leftover meat . Outdoor furniture covered in cobwebs....weeds over your knees. left over used marshmallow sticks from the previous stay.

Comfortable well-located home

The property is beautiful, clean, and very well appointed, though place mats would have been nice. The hot tub was clean and fully functional, which is always a dicey proposition at a rental property. Our only constructive comment would be to please leave more toilet paper. The 3-roll per bathroom rule feels a little nickle-and-dime and it necessitated an extra trip to the store. We'd have gladly paid $5 more per night in rent for a generous supply.
