Immerse yourself in the rich history of Glacier National Park during your stay at the Snow Fox Lodge at Apgar Creek. Nestled in the woods overlooking a meadow, the home has a rich history of hospitality welcoming guests since 1947. The glacial pebble shores of Lake McDonald and it’s outlet creek are a short walk away. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, murphy bed, creekside theatre room, gym with Tonal, fireplace and so much more. Your exceptional Glacier National Park stay awaits.

Snow Fox Guests must purchase $2 vehicle reservation for Going to the Sun Road, North Fork and Many Glacier entrances from June 13 - Sept 28. Access to these entrances is not monitored prior to 6am and after 3pm. Please get in touch for additional details on vehicle reservation purchase as links aren’t shareable in this text field.

Amazing Stay!

We had the best time staying here! Views are awesome and staying in the park was a huge bonus. The Snowfox Lodge was super clean and our family loved it here! The owners provided just about everything you’d need and communication as excellent.

Spectacular experience!

We could not have been happier with our stay!! Our group has VRBOed in a lot of places, and all agreed that this was tops! The house is lovely, well appointed, and extremely comfortable, and its location is secluded and peaceful while also super convenient for getting a lot out of a visit to Glacier National Park (GNP). The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive, even with questions that weren't about the house (e.g., suggested hikes and attractions). We visited in May, before busy season, and I imagine the convenience of being in the park (and right next to Apgar Village and close to West Glacier shops) that comes with this gem of a property would be even more important in the summer months. Would give it ten stars if I could!!

Great stay!

Property was in a great area and made for an excellent stay. Communication was great and even was well stocked with everything we could need and then some. Thanks again for a great vacation!

Lovely home in the heart of glacier

Communicative host, lovely home (spent the day there when it rained and played video games on the big tv), and helpful with reservations in glacier (even though I was frequently confused about dates!) Thanks for letting us borrow your space :).

Family vacation

Inside the park, close to the West Glacier entrance. Excellent property worth the price. We were only 4 but it can accommodate at least 8 people. Very caring and generous host.

Great location!

This property is well equipped and located in an amazing location with a babbling creek right behind it! Plenty of space for our family of five. Would definitely stay here again! Host was awesome - very communicative and helpful.

Private serene vacation spot

Visiting for a few days of outdoor activities. I’ve never seen a cleaner VRBO. Fully supplied with all that’s needed. Creek makes for great sleeping. You’re already inside the park so you do t have the long wait in the morning to get in.

Our Snow Fox Lodge

We loved our stay in Glacier National. Snow Fox Lodge was beauty and we loved the creek running in the back yard. Close to whitewater rafting, hiking, biking boating. The house is laid out great.you have all you need well equipped kitchen and Bbq and fire pit. You will love it on lake McDonald. Fantastic! Natural beauty! Peaceful!

Apgar/Lake McDonald

It was the perfect house for a Glacier trip. Short walk down the road the a grassy spot on Lake McDonald at the mouth of the creek. It had a very nice stream in the backyard to sit next to and have s’mores at the fire pit. Easy walk to Apgar Village, you don’t need to deal with parking, crowds, or noise. Staying in the park made hiking, GTTSR easy access, and playing in the lake. The house had plenty of blankets, everything to cook with and grill. Dishwasher with soap made cleanup between meals easy, Great three bedrooms with two baths. Extra tv room with super big couches in the basement. The three boys decided to sleep there. Good size laundry machine and dryer with detergent, it was definitely used to cleaned muddy creek/lake/hike clothes. Top two rooms get a little hot during day, so make sure you vent/exhaust with the fans at dinner to start cooling. Plenty of space, two tv rooms, board games, wi-fi. Great responses from owners. Very pleasant neighbors. This was perfect for two families with kids 5-11. I would definitely recommend this house over the ones in the village.

Terrific property and excellent location

We were truly surprised how we liked the Snow Fox. Location was great away from hustle. Restored property with amenities galore because this is also someone’s home, and it is well kept. Brandon was communicative and responsive. Our neighbor Gary, a local, joined in the evening conversations. If we return to West Glacier, this is our spot.

Great location

Our family of five loved the Snow Fox lodge. The location was ideal - a short walk to lake McDonald for evening fishing every night. We enjoyed being close to Apgar village and the amenities there. The proximity to the Apgar entrance to the gate was helpful too! The house was super comfortable, clean and had everything we needed!
