We had a lovely stay and enjoyed everything about the area. The house is just as listed and was very comfortable for a family of 6. The walk to the shore was short, and the cliffs are breathtaking.

Perfect location

Could not be better located for the ocean views, playgrounds, airport, Seaworld, Zoo and downtown. Property exactly as shown and manager very responsive. Walkable neighborhood.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. A great location. It was close enough to walk to some businesses but was nestled in with other homes. The walk is strenuous though given the terrain. We really enjoyed having a cup of coffee in the morning and looking out at the ocean in the distance. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating and the space was fantastic for our group of 7.

We enjoyed our stay and the house! The right amount of Rooms for our group. Nice table so we could all eat together, roomy living room for playing games and visiting. It was too cold to sit outside. My only issue with the house was the curb appeal when we first drove up. House could use some landscape cleanup.

Perfect spot close to great beaches

Had a very relaxing stay. We enjoyed spending time at the ocean and this spot was a great and comfortable place to do that.

Cute property near Sunset Cliffs

Very cute little house just a short walk from the shore, perfect size for 5 adults. Veena was very helpful and communicative as needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Ocean Sunset Views

We loved our time in San Diego! This home was in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the ocean. We went to Ocean Beach just minutes away to swim and enjoy beach days.

Great vacation home!

Our family had a great time while we were visiting. The accommodations were perfect and the home had everything we needed. The location was great.We enjoyed beautiful sunsets! Veena was such a great host! We needed to contact her a few times and she responded right away. We would definitely go back!

Comfy and Cozy

Home was very quaint and cozy for me and my family. Location was close to the beach, the shops and restaurants. Would recommend for a family of 6 to stay there. :) Hosts were attentive and communicated in a timely manner. They were responsive and friendly.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. Spaces were tight (living room, dining and kitchen). Kitchen was sparsely stocked. Told host we were coming for a family holiday and we were assured we would have all our needs met. Dishes were mismatced. No bakeware for cooking dinner (had to change menu as a result)& only a couple spoons and forks. Made do, but lucky there were only 3 of us. Comfortable beds but not enough towels. No real useful outdoor space as we had hoped due to worn out furniture options. Served our needs well enough. Not on our return to list.

Fantastic Views!

Stayed here with friends in mid-August. It was fun, given we’re near the beach the floors were a little dirty upon arrival. The host was very responsive! This has the best views of the ocean from the living room. The front yard is a great spot for photos and soaking in the sun and ocean breeze!

Incredible Stay

I travel frequently with my team and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed in a long time. Veena was incredibly responsive and the place was just as described and more. Would definitely go back again. Maybe next year!! ☺️

Amazing family getaway at Sunset Cliffs

From check in to check out, Veena was making sure our stay was comfortable. The property had plenty of space for us and easy to navigate around using the QR codes for instructions. We enjoyed the short walk to Sunset Cliffs and hearing the ocean in the distance, and the kids wished we could have stayed longer. This property is definitely family oriented and our host made it feel like home. Thanks for the good memories.

Like the closeness of beach

You can walk to the beach and a few cafes. It’s a 5 minute drive to a pier with streets that have plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping. There is WiFi and television with live tv available. They have plenty of towels provided.There were ants in one of the rooms that got into our luggage. The table was sticky but I think it’s because the cleaner is taking off the finish of the table.

Great stay

This is our first VERBO experience and this was the best experience we could have asked for. Host was prompt with communication. The house was close to the Sunset Cliffs beaches and walks. Beautiful views from the house. My 14 year old son sat staring out the window on our first morning amazed by the view. Backyard had a beautiful garden with BBQ and table. However, I did get a sunburn at the beach. But I think that was my fault;). Would recommend this house to anyone.

Great location

We had a great time here with our friends for the week! We are from the Midwest (my husband does HVAC), and we were not expecting the no AC. The temperature in the house was fine, and most of the fans worked. We were concerned about the cleanliness because the first night we walked around barefoot, and our feet were black. We sat on the back patio to grill one night and there were very large rats crawling on the fence between us and the neighbors’ house. The location is perfect, and the communication with the owner was great. San Diego was beautiful and we hope to visit again!

Not as expected

This rental was very inconsistent in cleanliness, maintenance, and functional amenities. 1. The bathrooms and counters were clean, the living room and kitchen floors were filthy. The dining table was so sticky everything stuck. Rugs and sofa pillows need cleaning. 2. The garden has not been maintained at all, grass and plants all overgrown 3.There are hardly any reading lights and the middle bedroom has no lamps or side tables. The house is located nicely but has not been updated - ever? And very poorly maintained. Not as expected and will not return

Cleaner would have been better

As I welcomed my family guests to this expensive VRBO, I expected a clean place, but it was not clean. Visible dust stacked up atop wall decor and ceiling fans, and the dirty doors, trim, and walls glared at us. The cabinet under one bathroom sink was flooded with shampoo spilled by previous guests. Good grief! Why wasn't it clean? A cleaning fee was included in the rental fee, which I paid, of course, but I myself went around cleaning and dusting so as to offer a cleaner space for my family guests! Took me 10 minutes of non-stop wiping up and rinsing out cloths to clean up most of the shampoo that had been spilled in the cabinet of the bathroom. The dining room table was sticky, the rust was obvious on the second bathroom's tub, and the back splash at the kitchen sink was an mess of old cracks and failed or missing caulk. No paper towels provided was a negative. Broken silverware tray in the dishwasher needs repair. When we used the gas oven, the strong smell of gas concerned us as did a loose electric socket in the bunk bed room. Old wooden drawers in the kitchen are hard to open and close and screech as you at last do open or close them. We could not get the TV to work which was another negative.
