Seaplane Cottage is the beach getaway home you've been searching for, centrally located along 30A in a quaint, gated neighborhood in the heart of Seagrove! This adorable beach cottage offers the perfect blend of modern living and natural beauty, situated right against Port Washington State Forest for ultimate privacy and serenity! Just a short stroll to beach accesses and a quick bike ride to Seaside, Watercolor and the Big Chill. This home is conveniently all on one level making it ideal for families! Enjoy the stylish open-concept kitchen, dining table for 8 and spacious living room, creating the perfect gathering spot! You're greeted by the morning sun on the covered front porch and can wind down after a day at the beach on the screened-in back patio overlooking the forest. 3 beautiful en-suite bedrooms ensure comfort and privacy for each guest. 4 bikes are included to enjoy scenic 30A!

BEACH ACCESS
Two public access points, just a short walk from the home.
A newly built public parking area is located conveniently between these two beach accesses on Eastern Lake Road. It has ample parking including a bike rack.
1. Eastern Lake Beach Access is on the west side of Eastern Lake where the outfall meets the beach at the intersection of South Gulf Drive and Eastern Lake Road, about 1/4 mile south of Scenic 30A. Eastern Lake is one of our rare coastal dune lakes in SoWal, which periodically opens to exchange water with the gulf! Access to the beach using this entrance requires wading through the lake.
2. Ramsgate Beach Access is a simple walkover with stairs near the end of Eastern Lake Road behind Summer's Edge neighborhood beside Ramsgate townhomes.
ABOUT THE AREA
Seagrove Beach is a charming coastal community that is on 30A, nestled between Seaside and Watersound. Seaplane Cottage is located within a short walk to a private community pool and two access points to the beautiful, Emerald Coast white-sand beaches. One beach access directly to the beach and one to Eastern Lake, a coastal dune lake that flows right into the gulf- a phenomena that is found in one of 4 places in the World! Port Washington State Forest featuring 15,000 acres that is filled with off-road bicycling and hiking, is also accessed along 30A. You'll find restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a quick bike ride will land you in Seaside, a well-known 30A spot with farmers' markets, shops, restaurants and local food trucks!
Take a quick bike ride east in the opposite direction and you can find yourself at the Big Chill, a popular outdoor space filled with shops, outdoor games and a big screen TV to watch sporting events and movies. Alys and Rosemary Beaches are just a bit further!
HOUSE RULES
Check-In: After 4PM, Check-Out: Before 10AM
Must be 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is staying on premises.
No Smoking: Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited including back screened-in patio.
No parties or events
Up to 2 dogs allowed. Pet fee of $175 per dog applies. Host must be notified of pet prior to arrival.
During busier times and due to limited infrastructure, internet connectivity may be affected. No refunds will be given for connection issues, no wifi, or slow wifi.
The primary guest is required to sign the Kismet Properties Rental Agreement, as well as provide a valid ID that matches with the name of the person that made the reservation.
CANCELATION POLICY
Guest receives 100% (less $250.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (less $250.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
Accidental Damage Protection
Your Admin Fee includes an accidental damage protection plan. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible for paying if there is accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2500. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, and/or damage caused by pets when allowed.
The primary Guest is required to sign the Kismet Properties Renter's Agreement and upload a copy of their ID.

This our second time staying at this property. The house is a lovely, clean & comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooked meals & we really appreciated the addition of a gas grill this year. The community pool is delightful & the neighborhood is small & very quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here & would highly recommend the property!

Beautiful and quiet
Beautiful, clean and quiet home in a nice small neighborhood. We appreciated the attention to detail, the cleanliness, and ease of getting in/out. It’s about a 10-12 minute walk to beach - would recommend one rents bikes or has someone drop you off at beach entry points. Really enjoyed our stay!

Loved our stay at Seaplane Cottage for 5 nights!! The neighborhood was neat & well kept. House was very clean & spacious. We did very little cooking but the kitchen was stocked with utensils that would have afforded us that convenience. There were plenty of towels & beach towels. Our teens especially loved the bikes & rode them to Seaside everyday. There were great restaurants close by and close beach access with parking available. The large pool (with bathroom facilities) being 2 doors away made it so convenient! Everything was as described & advertised. We would definitely stay again!

A lovely location
A great house to unwind & relax in. The neighborhood is quiet amidst the business of 30A which we very much appreciated.The front & back porches were lovely spaces to hang out. The kitchen well stocked for a rental property.A well laid out floor plan that easily accommodates us. The pool was a good bonus. The only thing I missed was a grill which we asked the owner is they could supply before we return next year.

Great neighborhood
Seaplane cottage is a very nice rental. House came with lots of beach/pool towels. Very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the plaza with Canopy Road, Turbo Coffee, Local Cantina etc. Gated community and no street parking allowed. We enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Beach access isn’t far with parking but beware that you often have to walk through Eastern Lake output to get to beach. Water can be shallow or a bit deeper depending on tides. This output is a blast for little kids. Definitely recommend this rental.

Lovely time at Seaplane Cottage!
We had such a wonderful time at Seaplane Cottage! There were 6 of us that travelled from TX and MN for a long weekend. We were so delighted when we arrived to see such a beautiful house! It has a great layout and many wonderful features. I loved the decor as well!! So many great amenities and communication was on point! Had no issues with checking in or out! No complaint’s whatsoever! Not sure I can state how much we absolutely loved staying here and will definitely keep on our list for more future stays!!

Would stay again....
If you are hesitating about renting Seaplane Cottage, don't be! The home was lovely, and the neighborhood was beautiful. We were able to bring our little dog, so walked the neighborhood frequently. The neighbors were so nice! There is a coffee shop, ice cream shop, two restaurants and several retail stores within 10 minutes walking distance from the house. If you go straight across the road as you leave the neighborhood and go down May Street, there is beach access within about a 10-minute walk. The beach access is where the lake runs into the ocean, no beach service but the area is beautiful. There is another beach access a mile away that does have beach service. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Getaway
We truly enjoyed our time here. The location is great with the new little shopping/dining area just outside of the neighborhood. I’ve been coming to 30a and staying in this area for the past 10yrs and this was our first time staying in a different home. One of the biggest things I look for in a home is one that is clean and comfortable. It’s nice to getaway but feel like your at home and seaplane cottage was just that. We have always enjoyed staying in a home that allows us to bring our doodle with us so I love that we were able to do that. My only recommendation given the area would be to include bikes. If you’re staying under a week renting bikes can be expensive so that would be a nice addition, which I believe they are adding this for 2024. We look forward to coming back and enjoyed our little getaway with our family. We had 6 total and it was perfect!
**One last note, eastern lake entrance can flood making it difficult to get down to the beach at times but if you make a right near that entrance there is another entrance to the beach which we are use to using and much easier to get to the beach. Just a note for future stays.
