Bachelor Party Visiting for USATF Championships

Great spot for a big group of folks. Easy check in and responsive owner. Comfortable sleeping spaces for everyone in our group. Kitchen with full amenities and washer/dryer as well. Very sunny, unique house. Easy to get to the University, as well as a cute little 9 hole public golf course. Easy cab ride downtown as well.

Great house and location!

We booked this house for family who were visiting Eugene from out of state and couldn't be happier with the location, cleanliness and hospitality. Dan met with me upon check-in to go over some things at the house and made it clear that he and his wife were available at any time, if needed. Definitely a great spot!

Thanksgiving in Eugene

We had a wonderful stay in Eugene - meeting up with Family to celebrate Thanksgiving & to visit our duck & attend the UofO v OSU game. Loved the mid-century details of the home, well-appointed kitchen, heated floors throughout, and cute neighborhood. Would stay again.

Nice location if you want to be close to U of Oregon or Amazon

The house has plenty of room and is in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this house for a family that might be visiting U of O or coming to Eugene for a football game. The house has a good WiFi and a very large television in the living room.

Eugene Marathon

Great house for a group of runners staying for the Eugene marathon. Proximity to Hayward and UO campus was exactly what we were looking for with plenty of food options nearby. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook pre and post race meals. Comfortable bedrooms and living room.

Disappointment

We consider ourselves the average VRBO renter. We also understand the importance of good reviews to owners and don't take leaving a negative review lightly. That said, this home is one we would never recommend. The issues are too many for a simple phone call with the owner. There were major cleanliness, safety and maintenance issues--so much so that we chose not to stay through our booked time but rather move to a hotel. The listing is a big misrepresentation and the property a big disappointment, enough for us to go through the hassle of leaving and relocating during our wonderful trip through the west coast.

Stay in Eugene

This property is everything it seems! The house is very spacious and can hold a large group. My mom and I stayed and were very comfortable. Dan is also very accommodative and quick to respond if there are any questions and requests. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Eugene! Thanks to Dan—we had a great experience watch the World Championship Track and Field meet (1 mile walk to the track)

Perfect large family & friends house!

We recently stayed at Dan’s large house in Eugene and it was the perfect accommodation for our group and in particular the large common areas where we could make meals as needed, dine together at the large table or watch some of the live sports together in the comfortable TV room. Dan was a great host and supported our specific needs as well which was great. Ideal location for getting to Hayward Field and the rest of the Oregon campus.

Happy

The home was the perfect place for our family to stay for my son's graduation. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. Dan was a great host! The only thing that wasn't very good....was the BBQ. It was in disrepair and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Beautiful, Stunning Rental House

My family flew up there for a week, and upon seeing the house rented it. The owner of the house was great, he was always there if we called him with a question, and extremely accommodating! The bedrooms were great; we loved having the extra futon in the little area before the garage. The backyard was perfect, beautiful trees, and gorgeous views!! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay while enjoying or visiting Oregon! The next time I visit Oregon, this will be my first place to check if it is available! Thank you so much!!

perfect house for us.....took 4 guys/customers to a Duck game. adequate space for us all....clean and was in good order when we arrived. had a bit of trouble with the tv and owner came in with a replacement later that evening. great service from owner.

Above and Beyond

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic property. House was perfect for 7 guys in town for a great Oregon football game (we won btw). The house had plenty of room for all and was close enough to town to hop down to the game but just far enough away from all the madness. And while the house was great, the owner was that much better. Amazingly accessible and responsive and unbelievably accommodating. Prior to arriving for our stay, I shot an email over asking if the house might have a BBQ. As it turns out it did not, however, the owner asked if BBQing was something we were interested in doing during the stay. Upon arrival there stood a brand new, top of the line, gas BBQ. Amazing. Would most certainly stay again and most certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a home away from home while in the Eugene area. Thanks again for the great stay.

Home was exactly as described. Spacious, beautiful, well-located. We used the home while attending a U of O home football game. Convenient to Autzen Stadium (you can actually see the "Big green O" on the stadium from the balcony of this home, which is situated in a nice urban setting in the hills in southwest Eugene). Owner most helpful before and during our stay. Would recommend to anyone needing a spacious retreat while visiting in and around Eugene.

Rental of Eugene, OR house

A great house for families, large or small: plenty of space both inside and in the yards (front yard is fenced). Everything in the house works and the owner in only 5 minutes away if needed. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and upscale—perfect for walks with marvelous views. Eugene is a terrific city in that the Oregon coast is more spectacular and less crowded than Big Sur in CA, and only about a pleasant hours drive away. Going east for about an hour brings you to the Cascades, equally as stunning as the coast. The house itself is very comfortable, clean, and quiet, sited among giant Douglas Firs and Rhododendrons. You're in a forest yet only minutes from great shops, restaurants, and cultural facilities. A twice-weekly farmers market is probably the best we've ever seen. Truly terrific.

Very happy with our stay, the owner was very helpful and professional, the house is well presented in great condition with everything you would expect in a rental property. Views and the area the house is located are beautiful. If i go to Eugene again i will definitely stay again.

Great place in Eugene, Oregon

Our family of 8 (with an infant and a 4yr old) spent a delightful weekend for our daughter's graduation. The house was in every way much more than we had expected. Set in a beautiful neighborhood and nestled among enormous trees and wildly blooming rhododendrons, the house was clean, adequately furnished close to the University, easy to get to and sat on a hill with beautiful views of the valley below with light twinkling through the trees The swing in the backyard was a delight---much used by kids and adults. The hardwood public areas were great but sound transmission required everyone to patter around gently. A TV would have been nice----but we didnt need it. I would strongly recommend the property. I would recommendthe house to anyone

relaxing in Eugene

My friend and I stayed in this lovely,relaxing home last August. The house was spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed the country-like atmosphere and yet we were so close to the activities of the city of Eugene. We just loved it and plan to return again soon.
