Your response leaves me perplexed. You received a greatly discounted rate It is also still very cold and rainy in May here. I think you’re upset because after my neighbors called me and informed me that a school bus was outside and all the kids were getting off the bus and going in our property, I called you about it and you didn’t like being held accountable for the fact that you said 5 people were staying at the property not 25. Also we don’t have screens because we have central heating and air.

We strive to provide a comfortable, well-appointed home for every guest, and we regret that certain details impacted your experience. The home was thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival, but it’s clear that some elements (like the outdoor deck and kitchen drawers) did not feel as fresh as they should have. We’ve since added an additional quality check before each check-in to ensure everything meets our high standards. Regarding personal items — while our home is not owner-occupied, we do keep certain supplies on hand for guest use (extra linens, cookware, pantry basics, etc.), which may have given that impression. We appreciate your comments and have further minimized visible storage items to create a more neutral space. We’re sorry the lower-level king suite was not accessible for your needs. The room layout is described in the listing, but we’ve updated the description to make that information even clearer for future guests. We take pride in our Eugene home’s peaceful location and thoughtful amenities, and we truly wish your experience had reflected that.
