Beautiful, Bright and Spacious Deluxe Log Cabin Duplex

Enjoy the serenity of the surrounding national forests and glorious mountain views through the two-story windows.

The cabin is within walking distance to the shops, bars, bowling alley, theatre, recreational center, community center and restaurants of downtown Winter Park.

This bright and spacious 2,100 square-foot, three-story home has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and sleeps up to eight.

Leave your skis and snowboard in the storage garage and warm your feet on the radiant floors. The downstairs entry opens into a family room with a 55" TV. Viewing services include Netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime. Also downstairs is a three-quarter bath and laundry room with a high-capacity front-load washer and dryer.

The wide staircase to the main floor opens to a dining room, living room (with gas fireplace), kitchen, two bathrooms and large master suite.

The fully-stocked, high-end kitchen has an eat-at bar, granite countertops, slate flooring, and stainless steel appliances. It is a chef's kitchen stocked with high-end pots and pans, knives, knife sharpener, stand mixer, hand blender/chopper, waffle iron, large capacity food processor and slow cooker, etc...

The master bedroom suite has a teak king bed with a latex mattress, large walk-in closet and shower with two shower heads.

Between the master bedroom and staircase is a spacious half-bath.

Up the wide log staircase to the lofted third floor there are two bedrooms, a full bath and an office. On this floor, one bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, dresser and large closet. The second bedroom has a queen-sized teak bed and large closet. The lofted office space has spectacular mountain views and is open to the main floor. There is a jetted tub in the upper-level bathroom.

The cabin is just four miles to Winter Park and Mary Jane ski areas. During the ski season, Winter Park's complimentary ski bus stops twice every hour right in front of the house.

Ski Granby is 17 miles from the cabin. Cross country skiing and snow showing are right out the front door. Summer activities include hiking, mountain biking, road biking and golfing. Pole Creek is an exceptionally beautiful golf course.

WP Summer 2022

Clean, modern property conveniently located close to restaurants, shopping and all types of recreation and activities. Kitchen is very well equipped. An excellent place for a brief or an extended stay.

Spacious, with all the amenities.

The cabin accommodated our entire family, we felt very comfortable with plenty of space. The heated floors, on the lower level was a welcome comfort & perfect to keep our winter clothing warm & dry. Having the laundry room & 3 full bathrooms is an asset & very convenient to say the least. A full kitchen with all the appliances & utensils necessary for full family meals worked out great. There were sleds & other equipment available for the kids to use which was nice since we flew into Denver & wasn't able to bring our own. There are a lot of places to stay in Winter Park & the address for this beautiful cabin was not easy for our transport driver to find until we showed him a picture, then it was a no brainer. The cabin stands out & has beautiful views from inside. It is in a very convenient location & only steps away from a great coffee shop called Moon Frog Cafe.

Perfect Place

Everything about our stay here was excellent! Fabulous hosts were extremely accommodating. Location and views were as beautiful as pictured. Kitchen is fully stocked - has everything you would need. Shuttle bus to mountain stops right at the driveway - very easy and convenient. Beautiful, warm, comfortable, well appointed home. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Experience

This home is perfectly located close to town and only a few minutes to skiing. We especially enjoyed the brilliant sunrise views over the mountains! It is a comfortable, clean, spacious, and well-appointed home. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and to enjoy meals together! We had no issues to report, but had great communication from the host upon arrival and check-out. We would definitely return if we ever had the opportunity!

Perfect last minute getaway

When our trip to the mountains in Canada was not able to happen we decided to try and find somewhere else in the mountains. We were lucky to find this great cabin. Plenty of room for 5 people, all 18+. Dogs allowed and ours had a great time hiking around. Only drawback was the train behind but we did get used to it. We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic accommodation in Winter Park

Excellent accommodation with lots of space, pet friendly, and incredible view. During our stay we were able to have all the comforts of home. Close proximity and access to town and multiple playgrounds. Overall an, exceptional stay and highly recommend Tracy and his home.

Great for families, close to center of Winter Park

This home was excellent for our family's trip to Winter Park. We don't take our young children skiing yet, so this location was great as it was central to many activities other than just the ski resort. It's walking distance from the center of town, a playground, sledding hill, market, bowling alley/movie theater, restaurants, and more (weather and ground conditions permitting, of course). Ample bathrooms make this house comfortable on all 3 floors.

Great location, Great place!

Fantastic house! Kitchen was amazingly well equipped, even for an avid cook. Location pretty central to everything, can walk to local restaurants, and just a short skip over to WP ski area. So close to lots and lots of hiking. House perfect for family with lovely sitting room/kitchen/dining on main floor and awesome TV room downstairs. Even has a fantastic office area over the main room. As I was working for some of the stay this couldn't be better. Even an ergonomic stand up desk! Great management, very responsive and professional.

Amazing kitchen

If you enjoy cooking, this is the place to stay. It is incredibly well equipped. The living space is an amazing area to visit with a group of skiing friends.

Great ski cabin

This was the perfect property for our trip. We had two family of 4s and the was plenty of room for all of us. We had enough room for everyone to eat together and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the great views and the kids loved watching movies at night on the big TV in the basement room. It was a short walk to catch the shuttle or to restaurants in town. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding!!

Absolutely outstanding!!! We stayed the week of August 9 for 6 nights. Lovely home, very clean, well stocked, within walking distance to restaurants. We slept with our windows open most nights. The owner is really good at answering all your questions. Definitely staying here again in the future.

Fantastic cabin with great amenities

My girlfriends and I just spent a long weekend at the cabin and it was perfect! It is very clean, has everything you need minus food, and it really is the perfect walking distance to everything! We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay outside of Denver.

Great Stay!

Nice cabin just a few minutes away from downtown Winter Park. There was more than enough space for my family of three and we had all the amenities we needed. Just a 5 minute drive to various activities including a great off-road tour and only ~45 minutes to a class III/IV rafting adventure. We really enjoyed our stay and the town never felt too crowded or busy even on the 4th of July. Of course, this may be different when there is snow on the mountain and the ski resort is open.

Cabin was clean and roomy. Packed full with amenities in all rooms and had a great kitchen for cooking! The owner was very helpful and informative. My family and I will definitely stay again.

Great property!

Beautiful cabin in the heart of Winter Park. Spent a week in July with 6 people. Plenty of room and everything you need. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and trails. Short drive to RMNP, boat rentals, white water rafting, zipline, horseback riding. Tracy was great to work with. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Great Location

Winter Park Wonderland

Beautiful cabin - plenty of room. Well stocked and very clean. Beautiful views from every window of snow and mountains. Friends stayed someplace else and their view was of other condos. The owner was very quick to respond to my emails before and after my stay. Just a short drive to Winter Park resort, with no traffic! Also on the bus route, but we drove. Easy walk to main street. Nice to have games, we played Clue and did most of a puzzle (not all of the sky) I would highly recommend.

A favorite destination

Winter Park is a wonderful destination year round and this is our favorite place to stay regardless of the season. It is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and evens in Winter Park, and provides easy access to the ski area, cross country ski sites and Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin itself is beautifully appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is ample room for friends and family and the layout allows for everyone to find their space or gather together. Great value across the board.

Great cabin in great location

We stay here every summer, it's a great location with an easy walk to town shops, events at the park, restaurants and the bowling alley. Many awesome hiking and biking trails in the area, and a short drive to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin is very spacious and fully furnished. We invite friends and relatives along whenever we visit, and they enjoy it as much as we do. It is always clean and well-maintained, with full amenities so you can do laundry over a longer stay. It also has wi-fi with speaker system connection to enjoy music, and a Roku for watching shows on a large HDTV, when you're not enjoying the fantastic scenery outside.

Perfect getaway summer or winter

Our family has rented this cabin several times both in winter and summer/fall. We keep coming back because it works really well for us and would recommend it in a heartbeat. We love the views of the mountains straight off the living room and porch. In winter, we liked not having to worry about driving because the bus pulls up right outside the cabin and takes you to the ski resort. The place is immaculate and really roomy with a bunch of space for everyone to spread out. The owners were easy to deal with. There is cross country skiing a few minutes drive. The place is walking distance to restaurants and bars and shopping. A block off the main street. Winter Park is really nice because it's not all built up like some of the other Colorado resorts. It feels like a regular mountain town. In the summer we have loved going to the annual Blues festival Blues From The Top. There are tons of hikes right nearby. We'll be back again.

Overall Great Place

I've stayed here more than once and will do so again. It's a great location. You can walk to town for easy access to bars, restaurants, shops and everything else Winter Park has to offer. It's a high quality place - great ambiance, high quality appliances, and everything you need. There are some trails nearby for hiking and the ski bus stops right outside. I've stayed here during the winter and summer. I'll be back.

Great Cabin - great location

We had a great trip to CO and this cabin was great to stay in. When you first walk upstairs to the main living area you smell the wood – gives it that great log cabin feel. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, cups, and even a strainer for our noodles. The kids loved the double bunk beds in the one room upstairs. They even loved the jetted tub. There is a train that runs behind the cabin but it never woke anyone up in the middle of the night. The views are spectacular and its’ location to things is great. Hernando’s pizza is within walking distance and I would recommend eating there. Shopping and a playground are also within walking distance. With Netflix and Hulu the kids had plenty to watch when we were there. They could even play angry birds on the TV. The private laundry with provided soap was a huge bonus. I washed a few loads of laundry. There is shampoo/conditioner and soap in each of the showers and hairdryers for use. This makes it so much easier when traveling by airplane. They really think of everything to include making your stay that much more like home. Tracy was very responsive to all my questions. We can’t wait to go back (hopefully in the winter). We will definitely be staying in this cabin again. Thanks Tracy for allowing us to stay in your cabin. We had a great stay!

Annual family reunion.

Everything was exactly as described. In late Sept., with a bit of snow blowing in on the first of a 3-day weekend, the entire family had a great time with the aspen color at its peak as everything warmed nicely for the remaining 2 days of our stay. We had the remoteness of a beautiful mountain cabin impeccably furnished and the amenities of a great little town within easy walking distance- even for 3 young grandchildren. The accommodations were a perfect fit for the extended family and we intend to return as soon as possible. The unexpected sighting of a herd of 12 - 15 elk climbing the ridge less than a mile away line-of-sight to return to their normal bedding grounds after being driven to a lower elevation by the snowstorm was almost surreal. It added to the feeling of being in the wild yet lounging in warm, comfortable surroundings.

After vacationing in Winter Park during a college Spring break, I dreamed of owning a home in Winter Park. In 2010, I was able to make my dream come true with the purchase of this wonderful and relaxing vacation home.

We bought this duplex cabin because of its proximity to three alpine and some of the country's best cross country ski areas. The Grand County recreation center, downtown Winter Park, a tubing hill and national forests are within a short drive. The cabin is adjacent to Arapahoe Forest and 34 miles to Rocky Mountain National Forest.

The cabin has slate and hardwood flooring throughout. There is no carpeting.

Summer time in Grand county offers numerous golf courses, the bike park at Winter Park Resort, Grand Lake and the south entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and hundreds of miles of hiking and biking in the national forests.

Our vacation rental offers a great balance of fun things to do within walking and driving distances, wilderness and privacy.
