Beach Place #101 - Get away from it all in this delightful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium in exclusive southern Madeira Beach. With a prime location across from John's Pass Village, and easy access to the one of a kind tropical Florida beaches, here you will find comfortable living with every amenity. Free Wifi. There is one parking spot for Unit 101.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The 1,140 square foot condo opens up to a nicely decorated spacious living area complete with large screen plasma television. The well appointed, open kitchen provides everything you need to feel right at home, including all utensils, such as microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and more. The eating nook offers comfortable seating for six to enjoy a meal, or playing board games. The nice sized bedrooms contain two doubles in the master and two queen beds in the second bedroom as well as televisions offering privacy and comfort. The spotless bathrooms with plenty of towels, linens, and extra pillows, are here.

The beachfront heated pool is a quick walk as are the many amenities including BBQ, and nearby coin laundry facility. A major highlight is the easy access to John's Pass Village, with its unique shopping, one of a kind restaurants, all on a pirate themed 1,100 foot boardwalk. During the summer there are often celebrations with music, art shows or a host of other popular events.

All guests have daily access to the office staff as well as services such as copying, and printing boarding passes. In those rare times where maintenance is needed, there is an after hours emergency on call attendant. South Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. John's Pass is a popular attraction with unique shopping, incredible restaurants, art shows, musical entertainment and a 1,100 foot pirate themed boardwalk offering a fun experience for the entire family.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Only a few things I felt should have been in the apartment like paper towel, coffee filters,and maybe a bath mat for the tub floor. Everything else seemed to be included. We will come back.

I think the parking issue is a problem when you have two bedroom condos and On parking spot also no special rates at the public parking. The biggest issue I think I have is the ground crew that works for beach place would come out and work on the coconut trees around noon and they had us move off of our table at the pool which was closest to the fence. Pool does not open until 9 o’clock the crew was working in the parking lot before that and did not start working on the trees around the pool until 11:45. I really think any foreman or supervisor would’ve had him do the pool area before 9 AM chainsaws and equipment running as I’m trying to relax at the pool or my table was a little hard to do. Our family has been coming there for 25 years every other year for a family reunion I come back July 17 because I’m coming with another family that I have sold them on beach place Because of availability to restaurants and activities at John’s Pass. Unfortunately it appears that the neighborhood has gotten a little rougher there is now chains in the parking lot and I understand the kid issue and their cars. I will read my comments again after my stay in July

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros - Great location. You don't need to drive much because every thing is so close. Right on the beach. Pool was nice, tables and chairs down at the pool were comfy. Added touch that there is some tables with umbrella huts for shade. The condo is large and very open. Kitchen had most things we needed (no pizza cutter but a knife worked). Couches and two of the beds were comfy for lounging and sleeping. They had our room ready early and called to let us know and was much appreciated.Cons- They "additional items" you might expect are less than you would find in a hotel or Airbnb. No paper towel or napkins, no coffee or coffee filters, no salt and pepper or any spices etc. Not a huge deal but def plan on purchasing those things if you are going to cook in the unit. Biggest let down was 2 of the 4 beds. The first room's beds are unsleepable. One of our guests tried to sleep in one and said she would have rather slept on the floor. Could really use new ones. The sliding glass door didn't look like it had been cleaned in a few stays and the one side table was dirty but otherwise the cleanliness was pretty good.Would come back and would recommend for all the pros!

Also range elements were all messed up so they wouldn’t sit flat, making cooking difficult. Having no guest parking is not great either. These are all minor issues though, the place was clean and very convenient being a first floor and unit. We would recommend.

Could have been better

The main issue with booking here was parking. We booked at 2 bedroom condo that slept 8 but only 1 parking space. Front desk staff was very rude when trying to solve this issue, ending up having to pay over $100 extra to just park our 2nd car. The. Having to pay to wash our clothes! We would never have booked if we would have know this in advance. Other issues was problems with ants in the room, showers and beds need upgrading. Won’t book here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The people in the unit above ours were insanely loud every single day, all day long. They were constantly moving furniture. It sounded like thunder. We had friends over and they thought there was construction going on above us. We had a pretty bad ant problem in the kitchen. Ants all over the counter tops and stove. One of the showers was moldy. The maid at the end of our stay was super rude. The people in the office told us that we did not need to empty the refrigerator because the maids usaully take whatever is left. Our maid yelled at my husband and our friend's daughter when they tried to take some of our food out of the fridge. She told them she threw out everything and said she didn't want our nasty food and was in fact upset that we thought she would want it. We liked the area and the building, but we will probably not stay at this place again.
