Madeira Norte #111 - Imagine vacationing on your own private balcony watching dolphins swim along Madeira Beach. It's been known to happen when reserving this 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom oceanfront condo. This 940 square foot retreat offers everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, guests may never want to leave. Free Wifi at Madeira Norte #111. Please note that lost fobs will incur a replacement fee of $250, or the withholding of the equal security deposit, depending on the method of booking.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The updated kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cookware. A breakfast area seats four and is a perfect spot for casual family dining or playing board games. The living area is spacious and offers a relaxing lounge/couch where you can rest after a wonderful day outside, or enjoy a movie night with the large flat screen television. The master bedroom is bright and spacious with a king sized bed and a television with access to the private balcony. The second guest room offers one queen bed, television and access to additional bathroom. A washer and dryer are also included in this property as are linens, extra towels and pillows.

Like all SunHost properties, you will find our vacation rentals meticulous. As a SunHost guest, you will have access to office services, including copy and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home.

Please note the Rules and Regulations for Madeira Norte Condominiums prohibit motorcycles on the property. The Board of Directors has authorized the removal of motorcycles via a local towing company.

There is one assigned parking spot for this condo.

Guests are not only steps away from the fabulous beach, pool, and BBQ facilities, but also popular John's Pass Village, where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, and entertainment along a 1,100 foot pirate themed boardwalk. A quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Nice condo with fabulous location. Would stay here again.

Entire property and ground are well maintained. The dƩcor was not to my liking however we were not there for the dƩcor. Balcony furnished very nicely. just a couple hiccups such as, ripped open plastic bags left in the Livingroom chair (probably from carrying in clean linens) & paper towels behind the couch (most likely from cleaning the wall mirror). Give it a try the location wonderful.

There was construction going on, that we were not told about. We awakened every morning with the noise of grinding, pounding, vibrations, and what sounded like an actual jack hammer. If I had not already paid we would have left and found another place to stay. We earned our vacation and should expect relaxation. Had we been told of this construction we definitely would have stayed elsewhere. Besides the noise our condo was by far the most outdated we have ever stayed in. One sink and bathtub would drain SLOWLY and having a bathtub with a shower head was a shock as well. All previous condos had a stand alone shower.

The view was awesome; however, the condo and furniture were very outdated. Carpet dirty in all corners of condo. Sand and shells under chairs. Kitchen cabinets/drawers were dirty. Utensils dirty. Towels had long black hair in them. No beach towels. Mattresses old/ uncomfortable. Black mold under handles/bars in shower. Elevator not working for most of the week. Balcony floor was dirty. The entire condo needs updated. I paid close to $2500 for the week and was very disappointed in the condo.

They expected from me what they didnā€™t deliver back. They was contacted many times about a loud group blasting music off their balcony. Whooping and hollering. I can over look some things like late check in or sheets that donā€™t fit the bed or even a shower that doesnā€™t drain proper. I can not over look walls rattling constantly. When I contacted Sunhost ( who I rented from ) I was told they have no control and gave me a non-emergency phone number to the police. They also stated many others complained as well. DO NOT RENT from Sunhost if they donā€™t manage the property!! Couldnā€™t enjoy the pool because it was always over the 8 person limit. I once was told to get out because the pool had more than 8. Yet I counted over 20 in the pool most times. I also couldnā€™t enjoy the balcony I paid extra to have (ocean facing) because of the noise. I expect a refund or at least a partial.. Everyone else that called in with a complaint should get refunded too.

The furniture is old, stained and cushions are smashed down. The bedroom furniture had a very bad musty smell. The carpet is dirty and stained. The towels were very very thin.There were no beach towels or chairs (not that we needed them). On the plus side, the kitchen was adequately equipped. We liked Madiera Norte enough to rebook for 2025...but NOT unit 111.

Amazing views!

We did have an issue with the toilet overflowing but we called and maintenance was there right away to fix it. The tub stayed backed up everytime we took a shower and the door between the bathrooms wouldnā€™t shut but overall the place was clean, the thing that saved us on this condo was the view of the beach. It was amazing and we were steps from the beach. My friend and I didnā€™t spend a lot of time in the condo so it wasnā€™t as big of a deal but I could see it being to others. For the cost of the condo, you could have stayed somewhere that has alot nicer amenities. Just a few changes and this place would def be a 5 star! We enjoyed our vacay and didnā€™t let those things play a big part in our overall experience. The weather in November was perfect and let us hold on to summer for one more week being from southern Indiana. I look forward to going to Madeira beach again this being my first time!

Great Vacation Week

The view was absolutely beautiful! Loved the location to the pool and to the elevator. Speaking of the elevator, it is so small! The condo was just as described. We would definitely stay there again.

The condo itself needs some updating. The bathtub shower was very slippery. You really needed to hold on to the grab rails while taking a shower. The bathrooms could be cleaner and they really need to be updated. The washer/dryer worked well. The ice maker in the refrigerator was a great asset! The main area of the condo is mirrored. If you like to see what you look like all the time, this condo is for you! The furniture and bed were comfortable. The grounds were very clean. The pool area could use a restroom nearby. Going back to the condo to use the restroom was a pain. But, overall, we had a very nice vacation and will stay in this condo again because you just can't beat that view!!

Itā€™s in a perfect location across from Johnā€™s Pass where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. The beach was beautiful and well kept. The pool is small and saltwater and gets crowded. Thereā€™s no bathroom at the pool so you have to go up to your room. Our unit 111 is outdated but everything worked fine except there was no blow dryer. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we will be back next year.

I was a little nervous reading old reviews before booking but I booked it anyway for 7 nights. Overall a good place. This was our first vacation in the area usually we go to Destin Area. The place has an amazing view! Best part about the condo for sure. Kitchen, bedroom, living area were pretty clean and had everything we needed. It is not a super updated place but it was good enough. Everything you need bars, restaurants, shopping is right across the street. Beach and the pool are right there with super easy access. Cons: we did see one big cockroach on our last night as we were leaving the condo. (they did spray earlier that week for bugs and had an inspection without bothering us.) Curtain rods broke off the wall as I opened the curtain (seemed like it was loosely installed). I told the office they said they will take care of it. Toilet paper holder is in the worst location behind the toilet on the bottom (should reinstall that probably) Ice maker donā€™t make ice we had to buy our own everyday for the beach. Overall we had good experience. If they fix all of these little things it will make the stay even better. Staff is great also. PS: donā€™t bother with the elevator. Thing is super slow and if you donā€™t have much in your hands just take the stairs. Much quicker.

November 2019 Stay

Staff is excellent but the unit is underwhelming. Everything is old and out dated. The kitchen sink is stained and the caulking between the back counter and wall is peeling and needs to be replaced. In the hallway utility room the bifold doors are off track and are ready to fall down. The microwaveā€™s rotating dish doesnā€™t work as the center spindle is missing. The master bath toilet was leaking causing the toilet to refill every 10-15 minutes making sleeping extremely difficult.It was reported on Sunday morning. The staff responded quickly... thank you. In the master closet there was a old bifold door stored behind the the closet door. When my wife was in the closet the door fell and hit her in the arm. The dining room ceiling has 2 large water stains and these stain also appear in the master closet. Itā€™s plain to see that the stains have been there a very long time. The towels were subpar- the kind of towels you would expect from a Motel 6. The shower head is god awful. We will not rent this unit again

June 2018 Stay

There were some items that need to be fixed. The toilet paper roll was located behind the toilet needs to be moved. It is close to the toilet brush. We found a cockroach in the master bedroom. Someone inconsiderate threw cigarette ashes all over the hood of car. The dryer was broken but was reported and corrected in a timely manner. This is the 3rd time at Madeira Norte and we wonā€™t select this room again.

Was ok, but wouldn't stay in unit again.

I was very disappointed with this unit. It started when I first walk into the unit and I see a beautiful leather sectional ripped up. The leather was peeled back from where someone had sat in two places in a wet bathing suit.(That is what it looked like to me.) This started the vacation off poorly. I covered it with a blanket for the entire stay!! This unit does need to be updated quite a bit. I had friend stay in another unit and I was amazed at how beautiful that unit was. It was not on VRBO, so that is why I did not see it before I booked this one. The building is located in a great location. Just across the street from John's Pass.

4th of July on the beach

We had a great stay! This unit is directly overlooking the beach from the balcony which stretches across the master bedroom and living room. You also have a great view of the pool. It's on the first floor above the parking garage, so up and down to the pool and beach was super quick and easy without having to bother with the elevator. The kitchen is small, but fully stocked with with all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need including a mixer, blender, crockpot and coffee maker. All the appliances worked great as well as the washer and drier. Furnishings were comfortable and clean but a little worn. That was fine with me since I had little kids with me and I didn't feel like I couldn't let them on the furniture. The building is just across the street from John's Pass Village with plenty of restaurants, boat rentals and fishing and sight seeing tours. I do have one big negative though that I hope they will fix. The hot water for the shower has some sort of power company energy saver on it and a small tank so hot water for showers was hit or miss. The water for the kitchen must be on instant heat because it was always hot.
