​The Mink Hollow Lodge was designed to be the ultimate private get away from the city. The Lodge emphasizes its large rooms, many windows and fair colored interior wood. It was built with brightness and lightness in mind.

This large, immaculate, bright & sunny home is great for family gatherings or friends getaway. Relax in the new Hot Tub, play a round of pool in the huge game & bar room that includes an authentic Brunswick 8-ft pool table, socialize around the soaring 18ft custom built stone (not cultured) fireplace, listen to music, surf the internet, watch movies on the numerous flat screen TVs, to name just a few.

Enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens. Walk on the the marked hiking trails or wade in the fresh mountain water stream. Picnic on the lawn or picnic table, toast marsh mellows using the fire pit, cook hot dogs & hamburgers on the Weber Grill, play frisbee or toss a football…all while never even leaving the estate!

The Location:

This home is a Nature Lover’s Paradise. Very private and Secluded on a 5+ acres on a Cul-de-Sac town-maintained road. Located in the beautiful & historical town of Elka Park, NY which is centrally located to access such charming towns as Tannersville (4 miles) & Hunter Mountain Ski Resort (6 miles), North-South Lake (5 miles), Woodstock (14 miles) and 15 miles to Phoenicia, Windham, & Woodstock.

The Lodge:

** The Great Room, with a 18-ft Vaulted Ceiling, lots of Windows & Skylights, Massive Stone Fireplace and Comfy Couches (3 in total) set the tone & mission for the Mink Hollow Lodge – which is welcoming, warm and all encompassing! The adjoining Kitchen includes an Island conveniently located in the center of the home so the cooks are never left out of the action! The adjacent Dining Room protrudes out and provides 3 Walls of Glass and 2 Sky Lights offering an Exceptional Dining Experience while surrounded by nature!

** The Fun Stuff. The Mink Hollow Lodge truly is a Year Round Playground for All Ages! Starting with the Indoors – the Game & Bar Room…includes a gorgeous 8 ft Brunswick Pool Table with Leather Pockets, Bar & Seating area, Flat Screen TV and 3 couches (2 of them being pull out couches (full & twin). This room leads out to a back deck that serves up a gorgeous 5-6 person Hot Tub and meticulous Lawn & Gardens. Make sure to Watch for Shooting Stars while enjoying the Hot Tub at night!

In the Spring, Summer, Fall enjoy our Immaculately Manicured Grounds including Marked Hiking Trails, Fire Pit (wood provided) & Picnic Areas, even a Mountain Brook! Relax on one of the many Decks. BBQ using a Weber grill (propane provided).

** The Kitchen provides everything needed to make a great, gourmet meal. Includes a comprehensive selection of kitchen equipment including slow cooker/crock pot, baking trays & accessories, full dish setting for 15, glasses & stemware, serving platters, cutlery, 12-cup coffee make, coffee bean grinder, 4-slice toaster, blender, mixer and so much more. Help yourself to our complimentary spices & condiments.

** Our 2,700 square foot home is great for a large family or a multi-family vacations, sleeping up to 15 very comfortably with all heads on beds. All four (4) bedrooms and have either a queen or king size bed and one bedroom has a Bunk Bed which is great for the Kids (twin on top, full in the middle and twin pull out trundle on the bottom). All the bedrooms are spacious and two of the three include 18 ft. vaulted ceilings. All include plush comforters, feather bed tops, high thread count linens and plenty of extra blankets -- everything needed to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. Two Sleeper Sofas also in playroom (full & twin).

** The Bathrooms (2.5) include over sized bath towels, hand towels, blow dryers, shampoo & conditioner, hand & body soaps.

** The Entertainment & Electronics...WIFI throughout the Lodge and on all Decks, 5 Flat Screen TVs, Premium Cable Package (100 channels), DVD player. Sirius Radio plays on all Flat Screens also.

** Additional Amenities: Washer & Dryer, Ample Parking, Trash Removal, Snow Plowing, Fire Wood, Propane for Gas Grill.

** Winter – The Mink Hollow Lodge is perfectly situated to access New York’s finest skiing/snowboarding/snow tubing with Hunter Mountain just 6 miles away & Windham is 15.

** Spring/Summer/Fall – This time of year offers unlimited possibilities. You can literally hike & bike right from our front door. The market hiking trail system in the area is amazing! We include maps at the house that will enable you to explore some very cool spots. A must see is Kaatterskill Falls (one of the highest waterfalls in the state), a secret water falls right near the house, North Lake/South Lake (offers swimming, boat rentals i.e. kayaks, canoes, row boats, fishing and amazing hiking!), The Escarpment Trail, the former home of the Catskill Mountain House, an abandoned (but restored!) train station and more. Visit Hunter Mountain and try out their Zipline system, Mountain Bike down their trails (lift serve access) or enjoy a relaxing ride on the Sky Ride (chair lift). The area feature music concerts year round and other arts & entertainment gatherings. There is also a slew of other activities including golf courses to choose from, horseback riding, fly fishing, Tubing the Esopus River, paint ball, wineries, festivals, Catskill Game Farm, Howe Caverns and so much more...

** Antique and Art Lovers - You'll find treasures galore with Woodstock, Saugerties, Tannersville, Catskill (Thomas Cole House) and Hudson all within close proximity. A wide-array of classes and activities are available to children, teens and adults at Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts.

** Night Life - There is a terrific nightlife and fantastic dining right nearby. In fact some of our favorite clubs & restaurants are less than 3 miles from the Lodge including a winery right in town.
