The name says it all. Windchime Villa is perched high on the mountains of St. John, with panoramic views to the east all the way past Ram Head. Newly renovated, Windchime Villa offers a unique blend of privacy and seclusion and is just 7 minutes to the shops, restaurants, and town of Cruz Bay. The home features extensive outdoor areas, a large refreshing pool, and a versatile bedroom configuration that would work for multiple couples or families (sleeps 10 comfortably), and a brand new commercial grade automatic switch generator in case of power outages. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene villa.

Three well-appointed, large King ensuite bedrooms, each with individual A/C units, are yours to enjoy, and offer high end mattresses for a comfortable night's sleep. One bedroom also offers four custom build bunks, perfect for families or groups. Windchime is situated so that the trade wind breezes flow through the huge double doors and windows of the main living area, keeping it breezy and comfortable all day. The extensive wrap around deck offers multiple outdoor seating and dining options and leads to the oversized pool. You'll find to hard to want to leave the peacefulness of the indoor/outdoor living at Windchime. The entire villa and surrounding yard is yours to enjoy. It is not shared with anyone else during your stay.

Villa Windchime is located near Gifft Hill, a central location, minutes away from many popular Cruz Bay restaurants, markets, shops, hiking trails and more. We are one of the closest luxury villas to the world renowned, family-friendly Windmill Bar.

Windchime Villa is managed by well renowned Destination St. John, who provides a greeter that will meet your party upon arrival at the ferry dock or rental car business, and a manager on call during the day should you require anything during your stay.

We recommend renting a car on St. John during your stay, so that you have the freedom to go wherever and whenever you desire. There are multiple cab companies on the island as well, you will need to arrange for pickups should you choose not to rent your own vehicle.

Beach Gear:
We aim to make beach days as easy as possible for your group. Windchime Villa has plenty of folding beach chairs, coolers, a portable sunshade, pool floats/noodles, and beach towels for your use during your stay.

Unrelated/Construction Noise:
Windchime Villa is located on a quiet gravel road and is on a large private property which stays very quiet. Many of our neighbors are longtime St. John residents and pride themselves on the peaceful neighborhood. We have never received a noise complaint from any of our guests! Since we cannot predict the actions of others and the construction by the government or other private properties, we cannot honor any refunds in the unlikely event of noise.

Loss of Power:
The power to the entire island of St. John comes from an underwater line from St. Thomas and is operated/controlled by WAPA (Virgin Islands Water & Power Authority). There can be sporadic planned or unplanned power outages at any time. While this is uncommon, it can be frustrating and inconvenient. Windchime had a brand new automatic commercial generator installed in the spring of 2024, which switches on automatically within a minute if a power outage occurs and powers the entire home. This means you will not experience any interruptions during your stay. Run the A/C, washer/dryer, TV and charge those phones with complete peace of mind!
