We had an excellent Fourth of July week at Bob's place! The property is amazing and Bob is a top notch host. We are local to the area and just wanted to get on the water for a week, and everything was absolutely perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here and felt right at home the moment we arrived. The very first thing we noticed when we pulled up were the singing birds and the smell of the flowers. The home itself is lovely and features an amazing view of the water, it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Our host was wonderful and communicated perfectly. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. We highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The owner/host was very welcoming and humble. The place was very well stocked with all of our needs. We will definitely return!

Cozy beautiful home on the water

The house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed some good fishing and the relaxing atmosphere. We'd loved to come back again.

Lake Vibe

Bob’s property was by far one of the best we have ever stayed at. The amenities the house offered in addition to the Shoals area were wonderful. We will definitely look to stay here again

Very Relaxing

Great relaxing trip!!

Our stay at Bob’s house was wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of it! The place was very comfortable and the added little treats were nice from the chocolates, flowers and all the things you could ever need! Bob is a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back!!

Great view

Just a wonderful and beautiful property. Very nice and quiet. It was a peaceful stay and very relaxing. The only negative was it has several steep steps so if your handicap like me , just be aware.

Amazing stay amazing host

We have traveled all over the US as well as international and have never had a better host or experience. Bob is beyond unbelievable as a host and what he offers. We can’t wait to back down to the property and its amazing views.

Amazing stay!

Everything was wonderful! Bob was so accommodating and the property was just perfect. I love being able to chat with the owner and get feedback to improve everyone’s experience. He’s an incredible host and keeps this property in beautiful condition. We’d love to stay again.

Great Time by all

Bob is great. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was just what we needed. I enjoyed my time just sitting in the chair by the water and reading. Thank you for everything and a great vacation.

Great fishing!!!

Great week with grandson who loved the fishing!! Lots of bream caught as well as two big catfish. Dock was shaded and cool even on 90+ days. House was was very clean and well equipped. Host was great and right next door ready to assist with any needs. All in all a great stay!

Super location - beautiful and convenient

We traveled in early March to Muscle Shoals to tour the music studios and other sites (Helen Keller's birthplace, hiking trails, etc.). The slough off Wilson Lake was serene, and populated by muskrats, loons, grebes and other water fowl. The area was very quiet and peaceful, yet not far from tourist sites, grocery shopping and many restaurants. Bob, the owner, is fantastic - helpful, friendly, generous, and welcoming.

With all the chaos going on in the world, it was refreshing to have this couple stay at the rental. Very positive folks and fun people to have multiple conversations with but at the same time allow them the freedom and peace and quiet that my rental has to offer. Wilson Lake getaway

My husband and I loved this trip. Bob is a wonderful host. His house was perfect. We hiked played golf and relaxed back at the house. Bob has gone above and beyond to make your stay special. He even had flowers and candy waiting on us. Clean and he has so many extras

Great Fishing Spot

Had a great time staying here. House if comfy with about everything you would need to cook meals including a crock pot and regular parts and pans of various sizes. Beds were clean and comfortable. The setting of the house is great and right on the water but in a cove protected from the main lake. We brought 2 boats and had plenty of room. But the fishing is still great right from the dock if you don't have a boat. We will be back for sure.

Awesome Lake House!

My family truly enjoyed our time spent in this lovely lake house. It was super clean, comfortable, and cozy. Every amenity you can possibly think of was available. It is a great location for docking our boat and exploring Wilson Lake. We enjoyed cooking, grilling, and eating with family on the wonderful and spacious screened porch. Porch time for reading, conversing, eating meals, watching songbirds, turtles, and chipmunks, and boaters was a pure delight. Many thanks to our host, Bob, for making sure our accommodations were perfect. This place is a winner!

What a find!!! Perfect all the way around!

My husband, my 15yr old daughter, and myself had very nice spring break getaway. This little house is so cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. VERY CLEAN! The fresh flowers on our arrival was a nice touch. Bob is fantastic and makes a true effort to make sure you have all you need. We will be back! Also want to mention this is a very quiet neighborhood which made the stay even more relaxing! Thank you Bob!!!

3 Day Get Away

We had a great time on our 3 day get away . The property was exactly as described and very comfortable. Being right on the water was great as the house has 3 different viewing areas. The dock, the patio as I’ll call it and the screened in porch. The boat lift was a perk to keep my wave runner out of water. Bob was so friendly and I got to hear some cool stories about his music career before we left. Already booked another trip for Labor Day. The only mistake we made was bringing to much ‘’stuff’’ since the place is stocked with anything you need besides food.

Excellent Property - Property Owner is Stellar!

All we can say is W-O-W! Not only was the property all we hoped for and much more, the owner is the best there is. We made a friend for life. We had everything we needed, but if we didn’t, the property own would do everything he could to make sure we had it. The house is excellent. So comfy at an ideal location. For boaters, the boat lift is so convenient. We arrived to fresh flowers left in the house for us which was an amazing touch. Newly added is a great fish cleaning station at the dock. Everything was absolutely perfect! We can’t wait to come back!!

These two clients were addicted to fishing. They fished, we hung out, had great conversations and the only problem was that the week went by too fast. It's a true blessing to have such wonderful renters. I look forward to their return.. Thank you..

The only place we choose to stay when in the Shoals!

I guess we have been staying here for about 5 years now. We stay 3 times a year and never even consider staying anywhere else. We enjoy the screened porch looking out onto the water. The lower deck with grill, fireplt, chairs, etc is a definite plus. Of course the pier and boat dock are things that any fisherman would love. TV in every room, stocked kitchen, comfy beds, washer and dryer, these are just a few of the MANY reasons we love our stays. We have made a life long friend in the owner, Bob. He is the hidden gem inside our stays that we treasure. I can honestly say that words can't express how special Bob and the Lakehouse are and you would just have to stay to fully understand. There is nothing more that an individual, couple or family could want in a place for a getaway.
