If you are looking for the true Hawaiian beachfront experience, then you need to look no further. It is located in the most desirable area on the North Shore. This is an amazing oceanfront property located on the nicest beach on the North Shore. It has calm waters, good snorkeling, and beautiful sunsets. There is 115 feet of ocean frontage, a gorgeous grass front yard with a 2 story beachfront cottage with oceanfront decks. Go down your private steps to the beach and snorkel with the sea turtles then relax on the oceanfront deck or lanai with a book.
The house is newly remodeled with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and is two stories with an upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed and incredible views up to Waimea Bay. The downstairs bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 full bed. There are 2 full baths in this house, a full kitchen and spectacular ocean front deck.

The house has wi fi, flat screen TV, barbecue, and washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking utensils that are needed as well as towels, beach towels and linens. The property is walled and gated for privacy. Located 2 miles north of the charming, historic surfing town of Haleiwa, this is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. This house is rented in accordance with the City and County of Honolulu ordinances.

RATES: monthly rate: $15,000-$21,000.00 depending on dates. Please contact owner for details and availability.

If you love the sounds of the ocean, this place is for YOU. Jason was so responsive and helpful and that was before we even showed up at his beautiful beach-side home. We had been staying in Waikiki so this home was a great yang to that yin of hustle and bustle. Don't get me wrong, there were visitors to the beach and they we enjoying a party or two so you never felt isolated, but once the clock strikes 7pm, all's quiet on that beautiful beach. We even saw a sea turtle inching up on the sand! The only thing that could have made that little slice of paradise better would have been portable fans with a bit quieter motors. If you're like me, you want to savor every morsel of sound from those awesome waves. When I turned the fans on (during the day only cos you don't need them at night) they interfered with the crashing waves. But talk about first world problems! Consider yourself privileged if you get a chance to stay here, it really is THAT great!

This place was absolutely amazing! It has the best location on the North Shore, and the beach it sits on is spectacular! My family loves snorkeling and we were able to snorkel right in our backyard. There is also a great place for kids to swim/play without having to worry about waves or it getting too deep. The owners were great to work with and super helpful! Not only did they answer all of our questions, but they also offered advice and tips for while we were there. It’s definitely a place we hope to keep visiting over and over again!

Best Family Vacation!

Our stay in this beautiful home was wonderful! Having the beach right in the backyard was perfect for our family. Jason and Janine were great hosts. We truly appreciated all of the communication and information ahead of our stay. This was by far our best family vacation and this home was.a huge part of it! We hope to be back soon!

What a view and sound to wake up to!

Coming out of downtown to the North Shore was a good move. Even better was coming back to this home after daily fun activities. The view and beach access are unbeatable. Good communication whenever needed. My family had many moments when we just looked up and couldn't believe how close the ocean and wonderful sounds of waves crashing was. It was stunning.

This house is located on the best beach in Oahu and has stunning ocean views. The house was equipped with all of the items we needed during our stay. Would definitely book again!

Great place!

We loved our stay here! The house was great with beautiful views of the ocean and the relaxing sound of the surf. The deck is reasonably shaded from the winter time sun and is a great place to enjoy the warmth with a good book. The beach in front of the house is great for a walk with a couple safe spots to swim and was never very busy. Easy parking in the driveway and close to some great restaurants in Haleiwa. The only note I'd add is that the house shares the steps to the beach with the house next door so people may be walking by sometimes, not a big deal though. We'd love to come back some day!

Paradise on the North Shore

My daughter and I stayed on this property for a week long getaway and to spend some time together. The location for us was perfect as we were away from the noise of the city yet close enough to drive to the attractions we wanted to visit. The host was very communicative and proactively reached out to us to ensure our visit went smoothly. The house is literally on the beach. If you are looking for a private, beach/ocean front location, this is the place for you.

Unique location and great stay

We had a lovely time. This location is incredible and instantly relaxing. The house is comfortable and hosts were super helpful with orienting us around the area. A perfect low-key family vacation.

Amazing Beach House

Jason and Janine’s home is really beyond words. If you are looking for a quite place on the beach, away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. We hung out on the deck, watched the surfers, and snorkeled in the lagoon steps from the back deck. We also grilled up some shrimp one night with a few glasses of vino while we listened to the waves crash on the beach. It is a great place to unplug and enjoy Oahu. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are awesome. We even grilled in the backyard while listening to the waves crash on the beach. Highly recommend surf lessons as well. Everyone in Haleiwa is friendly and the food is incredible. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back. Thanks again to our hosts, we are very grateful!

Absoluter Traumurlaub im Paradies/this must be paradise

Das Haus liegt unmittelbar an einem fast privaten Teil des Surfer Paradieses der North Shore. Vor dem Haus befindet sich eine Lagune, in der man schwimmen kann und manchmal Schildkröten trifft. Der Strand ist lang und fast menschenleer. Auch wenn man nicht surfen kann, ist es herrlich morgens Spaziergänge am fast menschenleeren Strand zu unternehmen, den Tag über einen Ausflug zu machen und Abends zu grillen. Nebenan wohnen die Besitzer dieses tollen Grundstückes Janine und Jason, die sehr freundlich und unkompliziert waren. Wir waren insgesamt 2 Wochen in Oahu und Big Island, aber die ersten Tage an der North Shore waren ein absolutes Highlight! We have spent 2 weeks in Oahu and Big Island but the first 5 days at this wonderful place at the North Shore were absolutely the Best! Janine and Jason were very friendly and uncomplicated. You can almost jump from the house into a lagoon and take a walk at the almost private beach in the morning and watch the surfers begin the day! If you have the opportunity to spent a couple of days or weeks there, you are very lucky and probably do not want to leave again...;-)

Perfect North Shore Get Away

This was a perfect spot for our family. The home has one of the best locations on the North Shore, situated in between Waimea and Haliewa. There is no need to bring beach chairs because your deck could be no closer to the beach. We loved watching and surfing the break which was on while we were there. There is not a better home on the beach so close to the break. The kids loved hanging out in the pool of water just in front of the house. Although the current can be testy, they were safe and comfortable. The beach was relatively quiet. There were mostly surfers out in the water, but not many beach goers. The proximity to Haleiwa is ideal - not too close to feel crowded, but close enough to go in for a bite to eat or to shop. And, of course, the home is not right on Kam highway, so you can't hear the cars at all. Jason was a great host. He helped us familiarize ourselves with the area and the surf break, which was extremely valuable. He was readily available, respectful and kind. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing views

Great spot on the North Shore, quick drive into Hale'iwa for shave ice and great food (even vegan options!). Nice to be out and away from the urban parts of the island. You can really hear the sound of the waves at night to fall asleep to. Quiet spot. Kitchen cabinets and countertops in kitchen and master bath are updated as shown in the photos. The photos show the views accurately. We were steps from the beach and saw turtles, seal, and tons of great fish right out front. great sunsets.

Wonderful Beach House Location!!!

The house is located on a fantastic location with wonderful views and great swimming directly in from of the house. The house has exactly has described and my family felt like it was home during our stay. Jason and Janine responded quickly to any question I had during the booking process Once we arrived, Jason greeted us and made us feel welcome and suggested a few activities that we had asked him about. For our family of 4, the house was perfect with an upstairs master and two doubles in a downstairs bedroom. We especially enjoyed watching the amazing sunsets each night on the outdoor deck, while charcoal grilling our dinner. We look forward to returning in the future to enjoy the North Shore once again. Thank you Jason and Janine for making our vacation memorable.

A+ Experience for our whole family

My wife and I brought our 5 year old and 3 year old here for a week and it was the perfect vacation for all of us. Jason could not have been a more welcoming host - he showed us where to surf, where to stand-up paddle, where the kids should swim, and where the adults should swim. We really appreciated all of his advice and recommendations. All were spot on. The location itself can't be beat if you want to be on the N. Shore. Kids can swim inside the reef and adults can surf great waves on the outside. Whats more, an observer sitting on Jason's deck can watch the kids in the shallows and the adults surfing the outside from the comfort of a lounge chair. Try not to spill your Mai Thai. The house has everything you need and was neat and clean. Some reviews complained about sand and ants. If you put your food away, you'll be free of ants. If you don't track sand in the house, there won't be any sand in the house. If you want the Four Seasons, you should stay down in Ko Olina. If you want the perfect mix of access to the ocean for kids and adults, proximity to H Town, all within the confines of a great property, you should stay here.

Amazing location

If you want to be on a quiet beach with expansive views of the ocean, this is the place for you. The beach is right there. We enjoyed swimming in the reef protected area right in front of the house. The snorkeling is excellent too. The house: - Wifi was great - Views were amazing - Beds were comfortable - Fully stocked kitchen - Just 5-10 minutes from Foodland - Just 10-20 minutes from Haleiwa Our only recommendation is that the ratan couch and chair be replaced with more comfortable furniture. It was also quite hot and humid during the first 5 days of our stay (no trade winds -- very unusual), so it would have been nice to have AC, but once the trade winds came up the home was very comfortable. We enjoyed our relaxing week at Chun's Hideway. The house is expensive, but the location makes it worth it. We look forward to coming back in future years!
